My Bloody Valentine does deserve a seven, it blows a lot of the current horror movies out of the water. 3D or not, it was a great horror plot.

But then again knowing how you gave Underworld 2 0/10, I don't see how you won't disagree.

Notorious- a film about the life and death of the rapper that came to be known as "Notorious" Biggie Smalls. Starring Jamal Woolard, Angela Bassett (Meet The Browns), Anthony Mackie (Eagle Eye), and Derek Luke (Miracle at St. Anna). Now I am not a fan of Biggie's music, (nor am I really a fan of hip hop in general). But I do think the movie was decent. It was pretty interesting to see the film, along with guys like Sean Combs and Tupac Shakur being portrayed. Overall I did not expect to much from this film, but it was decent.

Max Payne
The definition of a bland movie. The story is bland, the script is bland, and the acting is very bland. The movie moves way to slow and the story is really choppy, so stuff makes very little sense. Also, why does it have to either rain or snow every day? Also this movie expresses a new pet peeve of mine in movies, is it really necessary is have another scene at the end of the credits? Im glad i downloaded it and didnt spend any money on this steaming pile.

Rating: 2/10

The rain and snow is there because that's how the weather is for the whole Max Payne game. But with the other stuff I agree, it was a disappointment.

Joe Dirt (2001)

~ A man who works as a Janitor at a Radio Station ends up telling the world of his lifes story. Quite a good movie.

The Incredible Hulk (2008)

~ Much better than the first. I enjoyed this movie ALOT. Had some great visual effects and etc. It looks as though the next movie in the series will be good.

Tropic Thunder (2008)

~ DUD. Didn't finish watching this disaster... It did have a good cast though..

Saw two movies this weekend.

My Bloody Valentine 3-D:

I don't even want to get into the story because it's a waste of time. Terrible terrible terrible. It blows me away how much praise this disaster is getting, another shock value horror movie with no merrit whatsoever. Gosh, this movie pissed me off in many ways. Only thing I enjoyed was the old school deaths and the very lengthly scene if you've seen the movie you know what I'm talking about *wink wink* other than that nothing to go crazy over.

4.5/10

Chasing Amy:

This saved me from the last movie I saw.

Cult comic-book artist Holden falls in love with fellow artist Alyssa, only to be thwarted by her sexuality, the disdain of his best friend Banky, and his own misgivings about himself.

First time seeing this in full, and it was my second favorite Smith movie (behind Clerks of course). Great love story with the usual funny Smith shit in there too. Probably one of the few Love movies dude's can enjoy too and really explores the lives of Lesbians which rarely gets talked about expessically when this film was released! Just plain awesome writing.

The film that proved Affleck can act! j/k I love Affleck.

9.6/10 close to perfect 10.

I Am Legend

Story- after finding the cure for cancer, the cure begins to mutate it's victims into zombies/vampires and eventually whipes out nearly the entire human race. So Dr Robert Neville decides to stay where in the virus originated in New York to find a cure.

Acting- Will Smith is awesome but everybody else is just okay.

Overall- this is a good movie, i would have preffered a different ending though but the alternate sucked also. The cgi could have been better

Sundays Movies

Money Train - **1/2 (6/10)
- 1995 action/comedy starring Woody Harrelson, Wesley Snipes, and Jennifer Lopez. Sticks to that fun side of the 90s buddy action flicks, with a lot of silly humor thrown in with heart-pounding action. The story is generally stupid, and it is pretty cheesy, but it can also prove to be pretty funny and entertaining. Overall it is a decent watch but nothing more than that.

Amusement - ** (4/10)
- 2009 straight-to-DVD horror starring 20 somethings. The premise was based around a guy who had a thing for three girls in school, and they always thought he was gross and not that funny, and he ends up haunting them later. It wasn't a terrible premise overall, especially for a horror movie like this, but it wasnt executed well at all. There was a lot more they could have done with this, especially the whole clown aspect of it. In the end it lacks tons of suspense.

Eraserhead - ***1/2 (8/10)
- 1977 sci-fi/horror directed by David Lynch. It is completely fucked up in every sense of the word, based around its wild visuals and crazy effects. A man named Henry gets Mary X, his girlfriend, pregnant, and the baby turns out to be something extremely odd. It is pretty disturbing, and very hard to look away from. It is oddly upsetting, completely unpredictable, and has wild visuals that are very thought-provoking, although you probably wont come away with much as a whole.

Hotel For Dogs- a film about two siblings who decide to open up a hotel for stray dogs. Starring Emma Roberts (Nancy Drew), Jake T. Austin (The Ant Bully), and Don Cheadle (Traitor). It was a decent film, and as expected is warm and mushy, for the whole family. I did enjoy Lisa Kudrow's small but good role in the film. A decent telling that makes for a way to kill time.

What Just Happened- a satirical film that goes into the life of a movie producer named Ben. Starring Robert DeNiro (Righteous Kill), Robin Wright Penn (Beowulf), and Bruce Willis (Live Free Or Die Hard). I actually really enjoyed this film. I feel it was well acted, and an interesting and different tale than what we normally see in films. There are other great big names in the film, which include Sean Penn himself. Film recommended.
