I absolutely love this movie. I have seen it no less than five times already. I'll probably watch it again tomorrow. It's slowly approaching my record number of watches for a movie in a theater. The current record is 8 for The Dark Knight.

The Zombie Diaries
Wasn't nearly as good as I had hoped it would be. I found it to be boring at times and really not worth the money I paid for it.

Seven Pounds
I enjoyed this movie more than I thought I would but it's still far from, "great". It's worth a watch or a rent but I don't think I'll buy the DVD however. Will Smith's performance was spot on, which it always is. I love the guy

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button- a film about Benjamin Button, and how he ages backwards throughout his life. Starring Brad Pitt (Burn After Reading), Cate Blanchett (I'm Not There), and Tilda Swinton (Michael Clayton). Its no secret why this film has been nominated for multiple Golden Globes, it is truly riveting. Acted well on pretty much everyone's part. The musical score was beautiful, and it was emotional. Definitely a great film to close down the year with. Its a near three hour film, but certainly is not dull. I recommend this film to everyone.
The story of a young kid growing up in the slums of Mumbai as he's a contestant on India's version of "Who wants to be a Millionaire.
Wow what an amazing movie this is! Danny Boyle (28 days later, Trainspotting) directed this and once again he accomplish something special and unique. The movie is shot beautifully. It really is visually stunning and the acting is top notch particularly by the young kids. You follow young Jamal from the Slums of Mumbai and through all his trials and tribulations only one thing is ever important to him and that's his love for Latika a young girl he met. It's so much more than a just a generic romantic story though, it ask many questions of fate, love, and overcoming the odds. Probably my second favorite film this year behind The Dark Knight.
Slumdog Millionaire- a film about a kid from the slums named Jamal, and how he makes it to a Hindi version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? The film is a pretty interesting two hour ride. It was good, but I didn't feel it was as good as many people and critics have stated it was. But that doesn't take anything away from the film, its still worth the watch. The little kid's used in the film deliver great performances, and its worth the look.

7.5/10
I actually watched it again and still loved it as much the second time. The first half with the kids is by far the strongest part while second half while still great isn't as enthralling. But I totally bought into the characters.
Spoiler for :
I thought the way they used Jamal's life experiences to know the answers to Millionaire was absolutely brilliant. That and it's so rare to see an actual happy ending to a movie nowadays I found it refreshing.

Yeah, I also feel it was very creative how they used his experiences to help him out.
Spoiler for :
I LOVED how the host of the show was such an asshole and didn't want him to win, even giving him the wrong answer . And Salim was fucking awesome when he first held the gun and killed that guy
I probably would have rated it higher as well, but I have seen many Hindi films before, some with similar concepts. And while it was good I have seen better. But like I said the film is still worth the watch for people who haven't seen it.
Shutter [re-watch] - **** (9/10)
- 2004 asian horror flick. Still one of the best ones i have seen to date, its a terrific story with excellent shock content, and some very terrific and horrifying scenes. After a couple hit a young girl on the road, they start to experience her showing up in their pictures, and haunting them around the house. There is much more to the story, so pay attention when you watch.
Freaks and Geeks (Season 1, the only season) - **** (10/10)
- 1999 television series that was the jump start for a number of careers like Jason Segel, Seth Rogen, James Franco, and the production power of Judd Apatow. Its pretty real to high school, and has a great story. It also brings some classic Apatow comedy moments, and its overall just one of the best series ive ever watched.
Curious Case of Benjamin Button - ***1/2 (8/10)
- 2008 drama starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. Pitt plays Benjamin, a human who ages backwards. Its very Forrest Gump-like, as both characters are characters we expect couldnt live life to the fullest, yet did and had wonderful experiences and had tragedies, but all in all their stories still resemble so many other peoples that are much more normal than they are. The main flaw in this film is the lack of characterization with Benjamin. You never really get past his surface. Still, beautifully made.
