Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Leslie Bibb looked smokin hot in Train. And my main complaint with the movie echos -Styles- complaint about the ending not being as well explained as it could have been.

Movie: The Notebook
Rating: 9.5/10
Summary: Old lover reads to his wife who suffers dementia the story of their love. The reading sparks her memory for a brief while, allowing them to be together for that short time each day. Brilliant film.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
In the Heat of the Night - A great 1967 cop drama, one where Steiger got the nomination and won best actor for. He plays a cop down south, and when theres a murder on his streets and the only guy they can find is a black man, they bring him in. Turns out the black man, played by Sidney Poltier, is a cop, and after some heated moments, they end up working together. However, the town doesnt like that a black man is working on a murder case, and that their Chief is ok with it. Great racial tension in this movie, and a pretty good cop story to go along.

He Was a Quiet Man - This is a gem of a movie, a low-budget story starring Christian Slater who plays Bob, that depressed office man you always hear the stereotypes about who do the office shootings. His neurotic character dreams about getting the guts to just be able to shoot his office partners, but instead of ruining their days, he ends up saving them and has to deal with becoming their hero, and starts his odd relationship with the woman he saved, Elisha Cuthberts character Vanessa, who has been left paralyzed. Great movie, Slater is completely awesome in this role, one of my fave actors, and its just a really interesting story, and the ending is mad killer. i definitely recommend this one.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Quarantine- a film about a tv crew and other people, who get trapped off in an apartment where dangerous things start to happen. Starring Jennifer Carpenter (The Exorcism of Emily Rose), Steve Harris (Diary of a Mad Black Woman), and Jay Hernandez (Hostel). This is an American remake of the Spanish horror film entitles [Rec]. It was well done, almost exactly similar to [Rec]. It was hard to get scared, because if you've seen [Rec] you know pretty much exactly what happens in this film. Overall an enjoyable 90 minutes, and this takes the prize of horror film of the year.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Sex and Death 101 - Quirky, slightly dark/slightly light comedy starring Simon Baker who plays Roderic, a ladies man who is finally settling down with the one he thinks is right. And just in then nick of time, because the single world is no longer safe, with the new femme fatale serial killer on the loose, Death Knell. (Winona Ryder) Everything is set, and according to plan until he receives an email that has all the names of the women he has had sex with, and 72 names after that. What could this possibly mean for Roderic? The movie is cute, doesnt have a whole lot of laughs but works off of just being entertaining, and it has some decent storywriting. The place where it falls short is the last 20 minutes, the last 20 minutes bothered me, and i dont think it all ended right, and i dont think it fit with the movie. however, a decent watch overall.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Urban Legend - One of those Scream rip-offs from 1998, had a whole bunch of young stars who were trying to get their careers off the ground (Jared Leto, Tara Reid, Joshua Jackson, etc.), and had the minor casting of Robert Englund of Nightmare fame. movie basically sucks. its incredibly boring, it doesnt hold your interest at all, and you feel like this probably could have just been one hour of Criminal Minds or another show like that, and it hardly needed its own movie. The story takes the perverbial twists and turns, but the ending is hardly satisfying. Lousy movie, tired and true.

Righteous Kills -
Good and intelligent movie. I liked De Niro and Pacino in this film. 50 Cent was funny to laugh at though.
7.5/10!

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Crazy Eights - a 2006 horror starring no one that you actually give a shit about. six friends go to their old friends funeral, and as one of his last requests he gave them a map and told them to go find this time capsule, and they go to this place, and it seems oddly familiar to a few of them, yadda yadda yadda, horror ensues in the second half, and you probably wont care. its pretty boring, and they have a few shock moments but not nearly enough to actually keep you on your toes. weak story, weak acting, but tahts what you get for watching SCI-FI from 9-11. hopefully their next movie The Unrest will be better.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
The Unrest is better, but still not good enough. I think from the Horrorfest films The Hamiltons was the standout.
