The Brothers Solomon

Starring Will Forte & Will Arenete

Its about two brothers (Will²) trying to have a Child for their father who is dying and that is one of his wishes..

It was pretty Funny, not a Must See but if get a chance check it out

Almost Famous

As I said before with my rating of The Shawshank Redemption...there are only about 3 or 4 movies I'd give a ten out of ten grade. This is one of them. I absolutely love this movie. It's well written and very well acted. I don't think this movie could have been made any better.

There's a scene where they are all on the bus and suddenly start singing Tiny Dancer.... Our cheerleader/dance team bus now has a tradition of always singing that song on road trips. It's a site to behold. Or beheard

Tooth and Nail- another film from Horrorfest 2007. Well I will tell you one thing, it tops the atrocious Lake Dead. This film would have been better if there was more blood, gore, and fighting in it, rather than people deciding what to do. Rider Strong is in this film, so I partially enjoyed it because of him. Not the best of Horrorfest 07, but not the worst.

I love that film, it was damn good. I think I would give it a 9 or a 10. Its so different than anything I have seen before. And one of my favorite scenes was when Kate Hudson took too many pills and almost died, it was a nice scene.

9 out of 10 is absolutely fair. This movie got me into Kate Hudson *before this I didn't even know she was Goldy's daughter* . I think she's a very good actress and I also loved her in Skeleton Key *LOVED that ending too... I recommend it if you haven't seen it* Might as well go ahead and grade it.

Skeleton Key

This is a movie that's very suspenssful. I went into it thinking it was a horror movie but it's not. It's a very dramatic movie staring Kate Hudson. She is hired to take care of a man who's gone suddenly ill. While taking care of this man she begins to discover strange things and starts to investigate what's going on. A well written movie with an ending that I loved.

Superbad

Two high school students are trying to get laid before they move on to college.One of their friends gets a fake ID so they can get some alcohol for a party that is being hosted by a girl that one of the boys likes and he thinks that if he gets all the alcohol he can get some pussy or atleast a blowjob and the same goes for the other boy as there is a girl he likes and he is supposed to buy her some special vodka.Their friend goes into the liquor store to get all the alcohol with his fake ID,he is about to pay the lady for the alcohol as his ID passed the ID check by the clerk, just as he's about to pay for the alcohol a robber comes in and punches him then steals all the cash out of the registrar.The cops come and the two boys outside waiting for their friend think he got busted but he didn't as the cops were there for the robbery.The cops check the boys ID and they really think he's 25,he ends up getting a ride from the cops as the other two boys run off with a dude that hit one of the boys with a car,they go to a party to get alcohol,a bunch of adults are there,one of the boys sees a huge bucket of alcohol and he's on his way to get it but he ends up dancing with a girl and he gets period blood on his jeans, that lady turns out of the be party host's fiancee.The boy with the fake ID ends up having lots of fun with the cops,they all end up at the party with the alcohol as the dude with the fake ID took it when he left the store.The one boy is about to get laid but the girl pukes and it ends there.The dude with the fake ID is about to get laid but the cops he was having fun with barge in,the other dude ends up not getting anything as the girl basically doesn't like him.

Overall I thought this movie was pretty funny and I enjoyed it.It's one of those movies where it's really almost 2 hours but it goes by really really fast and it feels more like 30 minutes.

Sling Blade

I reckon' most of you have seen this but here goes.

Summary: Karl Childers is in a mental hospital for 25 years for killing his mother and a man she was having sex with using a Sling Blade. Karl has a case of mental retardation but is released and befriends a boy. The boy's mother is in an abusive relationship with a man named Doyle. Karl realizes he's the only one that can end it and kills Doyle.

I absolutely love that movie and I agree with the nine out of 10. Amazing movie all the way through. What a great performance by Billy Bob Thornton as well.

yeah I saw Skeleton Key, absurd ending but it was a good twist. Kate Hudson looked stellar in this film

Nightmare Man- the 6th Horrorfest 2007 film that I have seen. The concept of this film is pretty cool. The Nightmare Man idea is nice, and the fact that the person who sees him is a paranoid schizophrenic adds to it. Its a lot better than some of the other Horrorfest film's because it is more creepier in nature than the others. It still falls short of Mulberry Street though.

Absurd but it sold the entire movie. I absolutely loved it. It's the type of ending where it makes you wanna watch the movie again and once you do EVERYTHING starts to make sense.

Once

This is my new favorite movie ever, it's SO good! It's about a guy that sells vacuum cleaners and plays guitar like hobo style on the street for change and then he meets a girl who plays piano and they start playing music together. It's so sweet and the all of the songs are REALLY good, I can't wait to buy the soundtrack. This is seriously one of my favorite movies so I definately recommend it! Rating: ****
