The Dark Knight
The best movie in a very very long time. This movie isn't going to be remembered as a bat man movie,it is going to be remembered as a joker movie.Heath Ledger as the joker is simply amazing, believe all the hype and GO SEE IT! It easily replaced fight club as my favorite movie,im gonna go see it again in theaters and buy the DVD. It is excellent

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Lawrence of Arabia- a true story about a British lieutenant and some of the decisions he made which made a huge impact. Starring Peter O'Toole (Stardust), and Alec Guinness (Star Wars). Its a three hour plus film, so if you are planning to check this out, make sure you are full of energy and have time. Other than that the film was executed brilliantly. An awesome film score only makes the film more enjoyable of a watch. I really liked O'Toole's performance as Lawrence. Good film, and worth a watch.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
The Dark Knight in IMAX:
Believe the fucking hype. This movie exceeded my expectations and it lives up to everything you want out of a Batman movie, and then more. What really surprised me was the amount of interesting characters they really pushed the limits. Action sequences were epic, plus seeing it in IMAX really makes it realistic. Health Ledgers didn't "play" the Joker Health Ledger was the Joker. This movie is the definition of a summer blockbuster but what sets this from the rest of the herd is it's also smart and isn't like anything you've ever seen.
I recommend spending the extra money too see this in IMAX totally different experience really makes you feel like your "in" the film. What are you waiting for go see this fucking movie and experience a cinema orgasm!
10/10 (that's right)

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
The Hills Have Eyes (1977)- a film about a family who get trapped in the middle of an abandoned area, only to get attacked by some sick beings. Directed by scare movie master Wes Craven. I think the remake made in 2006 was better by miles. I mean this one is good for its time, but is lacking with the gore, and the villains are nowhere near as good as the sick mutants in the later version. Also the characters weren't really likable, it was slow moving, and it didn't get me to feel disturbed like the new one did. Still good for its time, nonetheless.

The Dark Knight
Do I really have to tell you? You already know you have to see this movie. I'm calling it now. Best movie of 2008.
The only thing that really sucks is that we won't get too see Heath Ledger's awesome acting ever again. Damn that was an insane Joker. You couldn't even tell it was Ledger unless you knew beforehand.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Frontier(s) (2007)

A gang of thieves fleeing from the police stumble upon a quint hotel run by a cannibalistic neo-Nazi family.
This is pretty much a French version of Texas Chainsaw massacre with a few different and interesting takes on the whole idea of the weird backwoods killer family thing. First off the gore in this is really good. Some grisly and disturbing scenes such as the ever popular severing of the Achilles tendon, a man killed on a table saw, people hanging from hooks etc. This isn't just a shock value movie like Hostel though as this one adds some character depth and makes you care about the people involved, including the killers. The main heroine was fantastic in this. (although she may have over acted a bit) She was spot on as the Woman in peril. Has some pacing issues, is predictable as can be, and the editing could use some work but overall a good horror movie worthy of the genre, even if it does borrow some ideas from other films.

Hancock
Its an ok film. Sometimes it trys to be funny in parts but then near the end it trys to be serious. It's like they weren't sure if they wanted it to be a drama or a comedy. The storyline is interesting throughout. About 3/4s' through theres a secret that comes out which i didn't see coming. I won't say because it will ruin it for you. But a good film overal.
About a 8/10.
