Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw

I also recommend Wanted over Hancock but I enjoyed both movies.

The Long Kiss Goodnight

This is a an older movie starring Geena Davis and Samual L. Jackson about a woman who used to be an assassin but during a failed assassination attempt on her own life leaves her with amnesia. In her new life she has no clue about what she used to be until she starts remembering. And by this time the people who wanted her killed realize she isn't dead and they try to kill her..but she starts remembering more and more and becomes the badass assassin she used to be...which is very bad news for the people trying to kill her.

Really good movie with enough action to keep you very interested and well acted by two very talented actors.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw

Wanted.

A young man who hates his life is pretty much abducted by this strange (yet very hot) woman who then takes him to a man named Sloan who tells him his father was an assassin, a member of the 1,000 year old Fraternity. He is told that his father was killed by a rogue member of the group.

He then gets the crap kicked out of him until he's ready to fight back. He eventually is ready, and starts off with a couple of small hits.

I won't go into much more detail, mainly because I don't feel like spoiling the plot, and because it gets crazy after that.

It followed the comic to some degree, but for the most part was different. The comic was about super villains, not assassins. And the comic version would've been rated NC-17.

Rating: 7/10

Other than getting to see Angelina Jolie's bare ass and hearing Morgan Freeman call someone a mother fucker, it was an okay film. Could have been better, could have been much worse.

Gremlins- a film about a boy who gets a gremlin as a present, only to disobey the conditions that come with it. That being: don't expose it to sunlight, don't give it water, and most importantly do not feed it after midnight. I think this film is a great little film. I loved the story and found it more exciting than scary. Those little creatures are fucking awesome, they really are. While watching this film, expect it to be stupid, but it is a really wild ride.

7/10

^
The 80's had so many great fun movies like that. There's really nothing like that anymore.

UltraVoilet.

Story- something about a virus and people trying to kill someone, thats all i know really.

Acting- meh

Overall- this was confusing as fuck, looked to much like a comic book /anime, and overall sucked the only saving grace was Mila Jovavich was superhot. 4/10

Gremlins 2: The New Batch- the gremlins return in this film and try to take over a corporate company. I thought the first one was a pretty damn good film, so I decided to check the second. It probably wasn't necessary for this film to have a sequel, but its not bad. Its more on the comedy side, and don't think this film can really be considered horror. (But then again the first one wasn't really much in the horror genre either). Its still a fun film to watch, although the first one is a lot better. Oh yeah there's a nice cameo from Hulk Hogan in this film too.

Hancock

I absolutely loved it. I enjoyed it alot more than Ironman and The Incredible Hulk. I liked it even more the second time I watched it. Hancock and Wanted have made my summer movie going worthwhile.
