Get Smart

I was hoping for a few more laughs than what I got. I enjoyed the movie for what it is.

I am Legend - 7/10

**Spoilers below.**

I thought the ending was kinda weak, and bringing in that girl and that boy sucked.

Decent movie, i was sad that the dog had to die..

Be Kind Rewind:

Simple little film. Jack Black's character gets into a electrical accident and ends up erasing all of the local movie shops movies causing him and manager of the store (Mos Def) to remake all the videos.

Wasn't expecting what I got, but feel in love with it. This is a prime example of a "sweet" movie, with a good supply of laughs and a good amount of storytelling. There's things that could have changed but I'm not too picky when it comes to these types of movies. Started off a little slow but picked up well and became a very funny movie. Fans of Jack Black will surely love this and if your in the mood for a quirky fun little movie give it a watch you wont regret that you did.

Stay tuned at the end of the credits too, there's a link to full versions of their remakes.

Thunderball- a film where secret agent James Bond tries to recover stolen nuclear warheads. Starring Sean Connery (The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen). I think Sean Connery is a great Bond man. He pulls the role well, and it felt good watching him snooping around and ruining the master plan of the opposition. Hes got that suave style to him which makes him a real ladies man for his time. I enjoyed this film, and feel its a great film for its time.

Wanted

I had an absolute blast at this movie. If you're able to suspend your disbelief for a an hour and a half or so you can really like this movie. Sure there are some stunts that make you roll your eyes...some of them so silly that the entire theater will break out laughing. But it's an edge of your seat action movie. The biggest fault I have with it is the casting of the protagonist. I think they could have chosen a better actor. Other than that I loved the movie.

Doomsday (2008)

In a futuristic society, an elite team is sent into the "hot zone" to retrieve information that could help stop yet another viral outbreak.

From the director of the great movie "The Descent" comes Doomsday. This is a big time throwback to 80's movies like Mad Max and Escape from New York and I gotta say it's a lot of fun to watch. This is a real gorefest which I wasn't expecting, some excellent gruesome scenes with very good effects. There are definitely some wtf!? moments like there being a society led by Cannibalistic punks and/or Medieval Knights lol, but if you don't take it seriously and not try to over analyze it you will enjoy this. Good action/horror movie.

And another WTF moment with that movie...
having a car that has not even been started in 30 years let alone driven in that amount of time, start right up and run like it came out of the shop the day before... pretty silly
I agree though.. it's a very fun movie to watch with some pretty gruesome scenes. I loved it.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw

Wanted- a film about a guy who hates his life who becomes a member of a fraternity of assassins. Starring James McAvoy (Atonement), Angelina Jolie (Mr. and Mrs. Smith), and Morgan Freeman (The Bucket List). As stated by LadyCroft, this film is a guilty pleasure. Get rid of reality while watching this film, and you will enjoy it. The film doesn't slow down on the action, and I liked how it was played out. One of the better films of this year.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw

The Spy Who Loved Me- a film where James Bond tries to uncover the mystery behind stolen submarines with the help of a lover. This film stars Roger Moore. This is the first Roger Moore James Bond film I have seen. I think he does a good job of portraying James Bond in this film. It was nicely done, with a nice score, and great plot development. I may have about 14 Bond movies left to watch, but I sure don't mind watching them, the film series is really good.
