Wait, what? You haven't seen Inside Man or The Lookout? I dunno if I can go into the bankrobbing trade with you until you do.
I thought he was talking about The Lookout! Yes I have seen Inside Man... good lord what a brain spaz. I was just discussing this movie in a thread with someone a few months ago about Denzel's performance and whether the twist of the movie was good or not. lol
I enjoyed the twist as well. I knew something like that was coming but I couldn't really tell what it was until it happened. I found it to be pretty clever and absolutely possible.
As for Denzel, I found him to just be Denzel in this flick. When he's playing a good guy cop he seems to just go through the motions or something. Denzel is at his best when he's a bad guy *Training Day/American Ganster* or at the very least a good guy gone bad in Man on Fire* He's also good in non-cop roles such as Remember the Titans, The Hurricane and so on. It's just when he plays a good guy cop I find him bland for some reason.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
I was more interested by Clive Owen (who I always liked watching) and Chiwetel Ejiofor's smaller part than Denzel's performance but he still did a decent job.

I expected a very crappy knockoff of the Descent coming into this, but actually I was pleasantly surprised. Acting wise it's nothing great but not bad either. The whole story behind it was pretty original and different and I liked that they weren't afraid to show a little gore. Yeah the kids did some really stupid things most people wouldn't do, but teenagers in Horror movies have never been the brightest so I won't hold that against it. It not so much scary really as it just entertaining and gruesome which isn't a bad thing. Overall not a bad addition to the horror genre.
