Troy
Absolutely loved it. I probably haven't watched this film in a year or so but tonight I felt the urge. It's a movie that I enjoy every single time.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Rambo:First Blood Part 2
Story. 3 years after the events of First Blood rambo is in prison and is broken out by his mentor of sort Col Trautman to help rescue P.O.W.'s and to do this he must go back to Veitnam
Acting- well Sly was again Badass
Action- this movie is the first of the stereotypical Rambo movies and it's awesome. this movie held the record for highest body count in anymovie up to that point. there are plenty of awesome battle scenes like him sneeking around veitnam rescueing people or him all mudding killing people. sure a lot of it's unrealistic but who cares.
Overall- this movie was entertaining and awesome, i don't know if it's better than First blood but it's really good, but the main thing i hold agaisnt it was it was supershort. 8.5/10

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
The Happening- a film about a mass catastrophe in which people die in an unexplainable way. From the director of Signs and The Sixth Sense. Starring Mark Wahlberg (We Own the Night), Zooey Deschanel (Surf's Up), and John Leguizamo (Ice Age). If you like M. Night Shyamalan's films you either will like it or won't. All I will say is that I didn't like the ending, nor the lack of his usual twist. But still I found it to be better than The Village and Lady in the Water. I enjoyed it, but I can't say others will. Like it or hate it, Wahlberg delivers a nice solid lead role.

Sounds good. I hated Lady in the Water so hopefully this one is better. The trailers make it look very interesting and Wahlberg is always good.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
The Incredible Hulk- a film about a huge mutation in a man named Bruce Banner and the troubles he falls into with the army. Starring Edward Norton (Fight Club), Liv Tyler (The Strangers), and Tim Roth (Reservoir Dogs). This is a complete new chapter that breaks ties with Ang Lee's Hulk of 2003. First off, I would like to say this film is better than Lee's version. Great performance by Ed Norton, he is the main reason I felt this film would be good. Its shorter in length which made it more enjoyable, and the action is good. I wouldn't call it the best comic-film depiction of the year (either Iron Man or The Dark Knight will take that right) but it was good.
7.5/10

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Untraceable (2008)-
A cyber killer has finally found the perfect accomplice: You.
If you are the type of person who likes torture and watching other people suffer, this is the movie for you. I have to tell you, I, on the other hand, am not.
Untraceable stars Diane Lane, who I actually like. I have no qualms about her ability to portray the leading lady in this Jodie Foster, Julianne Moore type film. Lane plays Jennifer Marsh, an FBI computer hijacker, ahem, analyst. She is a single mom living with her mother and her soon-to-be right year old daughter.
While doing her everyday job, Marsh and her lovable single computer friend, Griffin, stumble upon a disturbing website. On the website, someone is streaming live a video of a cat being slowly killed. This bothers Marsh, and she takes it to her boss. Her boss, being the typical FBI boss stereotype, comments "It's just a cat". Well, come to find out, it is the beginning of a string of attacks, and not on animals, but on innocent and seemingly random people.
Overall: 6/10

Metal Gear Solid 4.
Decent cast but the script is overblown and heavy viewing. I liked the cinamatography though.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Rambo 3
story-Col.Trautmen asks Rambo to go with him to help Afganistan defeat Russia who is occupying their country, Rambo refuses and Trautmen goes and is caught so rambo breaks him out.
Acting- Not as good as the first 2, Sly wasn't as cool and Trautmen was okay.
Action- Only one good death scene involving someone blowing up.
Overall- You a movie in a series that is just missing something and you can't quite point it out, well this is that movie, it's got action and it's got the same idea for the story but it's just not all their. For me Rambo talked to much, the cool thing about Rambo was he didn't have to say anything you just knew he could kick someones ass without a second thought, and when he did talk it was meaningfull and you listened. Also this movie just sorta ends without winding down, I know the others did that too but this one came out of nowhere for me with as in the other two you knew when it was ending, this was like "oh crap it's over already" 6/10.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
The Happening
I gotta disagree with Rockhead on this one. I absolutely hated this movie. The acting was good to very good... I love March Wahlberg in everything I have ever seen him in *barring his cheesy rap video's *
But this story was god aweful. The writing was horrible and left me feeling absolutely nothing. Shyamalan had a great build up that leads to absolutely NOTHING. It was almost like a Stephen King book where the story is absolutely great but he simply doesn't know how to end it properly. Shyamalan does this with this movie. It's almost like he gets to a point in writing the script then has no clue what to do next. It was a huge letdown in my book.
