Re: The Dark Knight' Official Discussion Thread
Press pass, my friend. But not alot of $ to go around anyways. Just trying to figure out who will be there to present TDK. I figure Nolan will be there and one or two stars will make a surprise appearance. Ledge would be an obvious choice. Maybe even Bale.

Re: The Dark Knight' Official Discussion Thread
Bale and Nolan yes, but my guess is that they'll keep Ledger away from press til after filming then his promoting will begin. WB wont want the public to see (even though we have) how Ledger looks presently and to risk unnecessary question and answers. Never know. Would be cool if he was there.
BTW You work for the press?

Re: The Dark Knight' Official Discussion Thread
Well all the talk for this film surrounds the Joker, so I think they would want that, considering they presented zip at Comic Con, saving the big presentation at Wizard World. Since this is going to be a Comic Con-sized panel/presentation, I expect a lot of stops to be put out.
Yes, I work for the press. My college newspaper.

You could easily forget that its a Batman film!!
According to Newsarama the next lot of DC direct to DVD films will be Wonder Woman origin story George Perez 1987 style, and the Batman Anime TDK prequel.

Re: The Dark Knight' Official Discussion Thread
I'm actually not a comic book fan... well, I've read a few in my time but I don't know about the background, mythology, etc. of comic characters but I love to go to comic book movies.

I have one more stint in Chicago in a month time, then I will be finished on the 2nd "Batman" the great revelation of working on this is Heath Ledger who plays the "The Joker". I have seen him on film and I have worked with him and I must say it is quite an extradinary performance.
The anticipated sequel opens July 18, 2008.
