Re: Coming Soon / Trailers thread
I think The Strangers (which is out on the 30th), looks like it can be a nice thriller. I think the trailer looks pretty good.

I'm surprised no one has talked about the trailer for Pineapple Express, James Franco looks so different and the movie looks insane.

Re: Coming Soon / Trailers thread
Justin Chatwin looks nothing like Goku, and that energy ball looks ridiculous. They should never have tried to make a live adaptation.

Re: Coming Soon / Trailers thread
To follow up on the first images of Josh Brolin as Pres. Bush in Oliver Stone's W, there has been a choice made to who will play Dick Cheney... and I think it'll be easy for the actor to look like him
Quote:

Josh Brolin, meet your new Vice-President. According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Richard Dreyfus has signed on for the role of Vice-President Dick Cheney in Oliver Stone's George W. Bush biopic, W.
This is the last major role to be cast, with Dreyfus ****ing an administration that includes Josh Brolin as current President George W. Bush, Thandie Newton as Condoleeza Rice and Elizabeth Banks as the First Lady Laura Bush.
Filming will begin this month in Shreveport, Louisiana. The production has received a waiver from SAG, due to the possibility of an actors strike. The film is tenatively set for an October release, just before the November elections and a DVD will be released in January, just before Bush leaves the Oval Office.

Re: Coming Soon / Trailers thread
The first trailer (a redband one, no less) to the Coen Brothers' new film Burn After Reading has been released and can be downloaded via iTunes in HD format. I was able to get the FLV file and upload to YouTube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CE3TlKzItL8
The film stars Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Tilda Swinton and J.K. Simmons.
As a fan of their comedy The Big Lebowski and the best film of last year, in my opinion, No Country for Old Men, the Coens are back on track.

There's been a lot of questions about who from the first film will return for Transformers 2, which hits theaters on June 26, 2009 release.
We knew that Shia LaBeouf would be back and that Isabel Lucas and Rainn Wilson (playing a college professor to LaBeouf's new undergrad) had been added, but now The Hollywood Reporter has also confirmed that Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and John Turturro will reprise their roles in the Michael Bay sequel.

Dear god i dont want John Turturro back in this...his part was one of the only things bad in that movie
I guess Isabel Lucas will make up for it
