Re: The X-Files 2 Update Thread
There is one problem I just realized with this filming start date and a release date of less than a year: Will the fact that the writers' strike forcing a rushed filming spell doom for the film?

I don't think so because Chris Carter is wirting it and he is a freaken master when it comes to writing skills.

Re: The X-Files 2 Update Thread
Still, Carter only recently settled his lawsuit with Fox. They could've gone through a hundred scripts over the years but nothing worked. Then, with the impending writers strike, Fox probably ordered a script be done or no movie is made. They may approved it without even checking its quality or lack thereof. I'm just saying that this year they've been talking about a sequel more than in previous years, so a script had to be done quickly, while interest is still there. If the writers strike last for a long time, that means that whatever script, after review may be bad while filming, can NOT be rewritten because it is a violation of union rules. All big major motion pictures must have a writer who is listed in the WGA. They announced this week that filming begins in Dec., with a July release date. Normally, a film of this stature would be given over a year to film and for post-production. This, its barely 7-8 months.
This is all pure opinion, and just my thoughts to the rushing.

Re: WANTED trailer hits
Morgan Freeman and Common is just a must see for me really.
Common is learning from the best.

Re: WANTED trailer hits
Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie on the front of a Viper.
That's it. Trailer makes the movie look stupid.

Coming Soon / Trailers thread
Title is self explanatory. Any news about upcoming movies or movies currently in production will be posted in this thread. Links to trailers will also be posted in here. Like Monty and Headliner’s WWF show, anytime a new movie trailer is posted in the thread, I will post a link to that post on the first page
