I don't think the English dub is THAT bad, but it's just far outranked by the Japanese dub.
As for the the DBZ special... It's DBZ, how can they NOT fuck it up?

Finished 2 of the 3 Lucky Star box sets. Can you believe that best buy sells them for half the price? Good stuff.
Yeah yeah, I suggest giving it a try if you're into the 'otaku' humor.
Another fun thing is that these box sets have open me to the WONDERS of Minoru Shiraishi. That guy is gold.

At first I thought Golden Boy was a dumb ass harem anime but man I was wrong. I actually enjoy this anime and it is funny as hell. Too bad it was ended so short.

Yeah, it is. It really a throwback to old mecha anime with the good guy and bad guy scenario. It really gets good during the middle of the anime, it's just intense. |

The answer is, if you like Mech anime, then this is definitely worth the watch. If you don't care for Mech anime, it'd still be worth viewing, because it's likely to change your opinion.
I'd say at the least, give an episode or two a shot.

The best anime ever are Death Note & Naruto.
Anybody got any reccomendations on some Anime I could get into keep in mind I'm also a fan of Bleach.
