Re: Anime Discussion Thread
My favorite anime titles are probably
FMA
Samurai Champloo
Cowboy Bebop
Eureka Seven
Hellsing
Last Exile
I'm currently reliving Eureka Seven on DVD. Adult swim has only played the show once. They should start recycling episodes of it on week days.

*FMA is a great anime, I have already reviewed it.
*Samurai Champloo- It's decent. It has the same creators as Cowboy Bebop. So the design is terrific, as well is the music. I really didn't like the story much at all.
*Already reviewed Bebop =).
*Eureka Seven- It's so-so. I watched it's run on Adult Swim and downloaded a few subbed episodes. It's generic and I don't really think much of it.
*Hellsing- It's been a long ass time since I have watched an episode from this series. Great series.

Your serious
I think the show is very original. The robot thing is kinda generic but the story and build up was pretty cool.

When I stated that, actually I was referring mostly to the robots. Same with the ships.
I should have been a bit more specific, I suppose. Yeah, the storyline and build up were ok, but I really can't enjoy an Anime if I don't enjoy the main concept.
Regardless, you watch some pretty good shows =). Oh, and your SC sig that you were using was money.

Re: Anime Discussion Thread
Naruto's my fav anime. It's quite popular around here. I like the story, and the whole thing with the ninjas with their various styles, backgrounds, personalities etc. There's a whole load of good, bad and neutral characters so you never know what to expect sometimes.
I've also watched Yu-Gi-Oh, Blood+, Full Metal Alchemist, Love Hina and InuYasha. Heard a lot of good things about Bleach, but never watched it. Might watch it in the future.
Edit: Oh ya, does anyone know what the theme song of Naruto: Shippuden is? I think it's pretty sweet.

Glad to see another fan join the discussion =).
I need to dig out some of my old video tapes to see if I would enjoy it now. I really don't know, nor do I remember many details from it.
Like I said before, everyone has different taste in Anime, but regardless, any Anime fan is good stuff.

I'm pretty obsessed with it. I have all the english episodes and japanese episodes on DVD. I'll have to take an updated picture of all my SM stuff. Takes about 1-2 hours just to set all that shit up.

Watch Bleach. If you like Naruto I am sure you would like Bleach as well.
InuYasha is ok. I prefer the movies over the series, though. Manga>series, too.

Awesome =).
I can't wait to see your collection. I collect mostly dvds and replica full tang swords.
Currently I have
*Hitsugaya's Sword
*Ichigo's Bankai
*Renji's Shikai
*Ichiogo's Shikai
*Too many dvds to name.
I realize the swords and their owners don't mean much to you Cat. I was just stating it in general, not so much as a reply to your collection.
Your SM collection>my collection, I bet.

I like InuYasha, because of the whole demon, various characters etc. Possibly the same reasons why I like Naruto, and it's something I prefer to watch; things like mythical creatures, ninjas, mercenaries and stuff like that. Fantasy. The whole concept of good vs evil coupled with those who side with neither makes good watching anytime.
That's what's kept me from watching Bleach so far, but, ya loads of people give it a good name, so I'll probably check it our sometime.

It does mean something to me because it means something to you. It's cool to hear what people have. It's something they like and it makes them happy.
I have everything from SM erasers to an SM bedset.

Thank you very much, Cat. That is very nice of you.

I am on episode 5 of Death Note, now. It is seriously coming along great so far.
I still am anticipating Bleach-Episode 139 Subbed like no other.
EDIT: Episode 139 Subbed is available, now. Hooray =).
