i hated L's voice. it was too deep! it has to be higher pitched and more boyish. also innocent but confident at the same time.

I can say the opposite for Ryuk in the Japanese version. His voice was too deep and had really no personality (from what I've seen), but his American translation has a voice that fits his character model, more like a personalitive voice.

I really don't see so many problems that you Japanese purists do with English voice overs. Death Note has fine American voices, yet a lot of you guys just want to point out the flaws.

It's all about the Wolfwood.

I was too busy watching him to care about story or Vash.

Re: Anime Discussion Thread

Quite a while ago, SJ420 informed us that he read up on something concerning a musical performance of Bleach.

I was looking for videos on Youtube for my new Gif, and I found this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbqU46QaojY

Its absolutely terrible. I knew it was going to be shit. To be fair, I am not a big fan of any type of musicals.

Re: Anime Discussion Thread

Just got done watching the first episode of Samurai Champloo, and I enjoyed it. The action was very fluid and it had style, which is to be expected from the creators of Cowboy Bebop.
