also have you seen Chrono Crusade or Voices of a Distant Star? the former is this fun little fantasy/horror anime that involves the Order of the Magdalene (kind of like a church sect) that purifies evil, demons, monsters, etc. and the main character, Chrono, is a demon too but he is one of the Order and is partners with the other main character, Sister Rosette. it's just a lot of fun even tho it's very dark. the latter is this wonderful little 30 minute anime movie that is so serene and emotional even tho you never see a single character or anything. the story is thru a series of emails and messages sent between the two main characters (boyfriend/girlfriend) and are never shown on screen. the audio and animation are extremely top notch.
The Bount Filler Arc is episode 64 to 109. So, start at episode 110.

No, I sure haven't seen either. Both sound good. Chrono Crusade really sounds like it would appeal to me. I will check it out.

Re: Anime Discussion Thread

The only thing that comes from the Bounto arc are Ririn, Cloud & Nova, the mod-souls who live in stuffed animals.

I heard that Voice of a Different Star was made by one guy on his home computer. I should be getting it from Netflix tomorrow. I'll tell what I think about it.

Ririn, Cloud, and Nova don't continue in the series. If they are in an episode, its filler.

jesus, till 109? i only watched up to 70ish when they got Ishida out of the hospital and they fought those water twins. 40+ is overkill imo.

so yeah, i'll start downloading again at 110. but question first, are there any episodes that are actually non-Bount that are filler to filler? like the Karakura Superheroes episode during the Soul Society arc?

There are a few filler episodes in the 130's. I will look it up after Raw is done and let you know exactly which episodes.

Though, I will have to distinguish which filler are the terrible ones. There are actually some interesting fillers.

Re: Anime Discussion Thread

I watched Voice of a Different Star last night. It was pretty good little artsy-fartsy movie. Very impressive considering it was made by one person. I wish I would have been able to read the text messages though.

Re: Anime Discussion Thread

I'm going to start writing Anime reviews and posting them in this thread. They are going to be 5 - 10 paragraphs. My first one is going to be Cowboy Bebop.

Coming this weekend.

I am also going to start uploading Anime TV shows. We should start an Offical one in the TV/Movies section

I can upload Serial Experiment Lain, Eureka Seven and Scrapped Princess.

Re: Anime Discussion Thread

I think the review idea is great, TCEs. I think it would be better if you wrote some reviews on Animes we haven't all seen.

Also, Bleach 145 has been released fully subbed by Dattebayo. I am downloading it via Torrent right now, and it will be up on Bleach Exile as soon as I can get it up.
