I said it once, I said it a billion times, and I'll say it again:
Sometimes fillers are the only reason I watch a series.
Sans the beginning-to-first part of exams, I'll watch a Naruto filler long before I'd tolerate an Akatsuki/Uchiha/Orochi- WHO GIVES A CRAP!!! related episode.

Well yeah, usually in filler, side characters get some spotlight, so if you like a lot of them, fillers would be for you.
