I advice some less popular/known anime that I liked: "History Strongest Disciple Kenichi" , "Tokyo Magnitude 8.0" , "House of 5 LEaves" , "Tenjou Tenge" , "PlanetES" .
Speaking of recent views, I absolutely fell in love with "Fate Zero", that anime was awesome.

THen watch "Black Cat", the character of Yami is based on the original char. of Eve in this anime. (also Kyoko come from here)

Yw ^^ also if you have the chance go for the Manga first, it's WAY better than the anime.
PS: love Sanada Yukimura being a little tsundere girl in Ryakka...poor man ^^"
