Forgot about Edward vs. Greed, Vincent vs. Spike was great as well (that train scene has to be my favorite), Dio Brando vs Jotaro (ZA WARUDO! ftw)

If my memory is correct, you're talking about the Cowboy Bebop movie? And that fight was BOSS. Spike did some wicked moves in that movie. I think he fought that chick with a broom stick while flirting with her at the same time. lol

Re: Anime Discussion Thread
I'm counting at least four of us that all agree that Spike vs. Vincent is amongst our top anime one on one fights.
I'd argue that's grounds for potential greatest of all time title.

I went to go watch the Bebop movie the other day and what do I notice? The case is there, but the DVD is missing. So, I got on Amazon and ended up with the box set of Trigun, Bebop w/ movies, FullMetal Alchemist, FMA: Brotherhood and I bought the collector's edition of Death Note.
Mind you I had Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, FullMetal Alchemist and Death Note in interval DVD's, but I prefer complete, box sets; it is also a bonus when they are a collector's edition. Everything was very fair priced, I believe Bebop was $24.99 USD brand new w/ two-day shipping.
I need to catch up on my Bleach Collection, but I am skeptical to dish out a bunch of cash then buying the box set. I also need to get Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex first and second gig.

Re: Anime Discussion Thread
Oh Bleach, how you've fallen. I remember when you were fucking epic the first 60 episodes, and it was a complete downfall from there save from the Ichigo vs. Grimmjow and Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra fights. It had so much potential too the moment Aizen left Soul Society, and it just got extremely overplayed from there. Nothing meant shit anymore. And Aizen vs. Ichigo was such a major let down. I literally groaned out loud as soon as I read it.
Meanwhile, Shippuden just keeps getting more and more exciting by the chapter. Can't fucking wait. I hope this Obito/Madara backstory gets done quick though.

I've mentioned Vicious vs. Spike, but the Vincent fight was just as epic imo for different reasons.
And speaking of complete box sets, I still have to finish my Nedesico collection, which I haven't even thought about get the last dvd for. Man, I remember really hating collecting individual anime dvds because you couldn't them all, I had to go to Best Buy, Suncoast (I missed this store), or Media Play to find those damn dvds. Even now I prefer having the complete collection of an anime instead of the individual dvds. Hell, I don't think dvd distributors sell individual dvds in stores anymore unless it's older anime

I meant Vincent. Spike vs Vicious is ok and all, but I'd even put the squash match that was Spike vs Mad Pierrot 1 above their fights, Vicious fights always left something to be desired.
As for collections, I unfortunately don't do it much due to lack of money (damned Californian job market...) I have the first half of Gurren Lagann, the 1st and 2nd season of Rurouni Kenshin (along with two of it's movies, not interested in season 3 though) Have the entire Dirty Pair Flash series, as well as Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan.
Still working on collecting Miyazaki and Satoshi Kon movies only have two of each (Mononoke, Howl, Tokyo Godfathers, Paprika.) Probably going to try and collect Dokkoida?! next, since it'll be super cheap and worth it. That, or wait until I get some more money, and getTenchi Universe, which is set for re-release in mid October, or finally get Outlaw Star and/or the first and forth season of Yu Yu (Dark Tournament will have to be last)

The fourth season of Yu Yu hakusho might be the most disappointing arc in Anime history. And it had a lot of potential too, the war storyline started off great

I'd be getting it mainly for the Chapter Black arc, which was a arc I enjoyed. Can't speak for the Demon World Tournament arc, since Cartoon Network screwed up their scheduling and kept it on Saturday morning 4:30 am and said nothing about it. Though closure would be all the more reason I suppose.
