While I still think it should have stuck with it's original ending of Freeza Saga (despite some of my favourite things coming in Cell Saga (SSJ2 Gohan, Mirai no Trunks)... I agree with HoL's points regarding GT. Could have been so much better than it was.

Well, he didn't do anything with it.

The Majin Buu fight was all about stalling. Goku could've done that in SS2. Apparently he could've beat Buu in SS3 but didn't b/c he wanted living people to protect their own world.

Gotenks didn't need it b/c we hadn't yet seen how SS/SS2 Gotenks would match up against Super Buu. It could've easily been the same fight sans the long hair.

Goku wasn't even SS3 when he finished off Kid Buu. So yeah, really no purpose for SS3. He can't even hold it for longer than 5 minutes when he is alive.

Is SS2 was the barrier again then Buu would not be needed in the show. There wouldn't be any point of having a villain weaker or as good as Cell later on. The villain needed to be stronger, as well as the Heroes. That is why SS3 was needed.

If Goku faced Kid Buu in SS2 he would have died in two minutes. He wouldn't stand a chance at all. Vegita in SS2 was getting owned by Kid Buu. SS3 made him last longer against Buu. He couldn't handle the SS3 for very long because he wasnt used to it yet.

Gohan has always been a fucking nerd, he'd always rather not fight, he didn't want to fight Cell at first, ChiChi planned for him to be scientist or some shit and he studiet towards that so it's not surprising at all that he became such a nerd.

He didn't wanted to fight Cell at first because he thought there would no point. Because he saw Goku failed and he thought that if Goku can't beat him then what chance does he have in beating Cell.

Obviously I'm suggesting that Buu would've been better off underpowered. SuperBuu vs. Vegito was ridiculous. The filler made Cell look terrible with Pikkon ending him with one blow, so I guess they kinda had to go overboard.

Yeah I agree that filler was quite awful. Cell getting owned by Pikkon with one blow and then Goku defeating him was awful.

I don't think Buu would have been better off underpowered, well that is only my opinion.

Lol, GT is shit compared with other anime. And I agree that Z should have ended with the Frieza saga.

Being watching Rinne No Lagrange (I dropped it before but decide to watch it again) and Bodacious Space Pirates, both being done by the same director. Both really good. I guess I will have to put Silent Mobius on hold for now.

I wish the Bleach anime comes back soon, the current Arc in the manga has been great, compared to the Arrancar/Espada saga.
