Age means nothing to me as a restriction, I just watched the original run of Fist of the North Star last year.

Anybody ever watch Prince of Tennis? Or read the manga? It's a different kind of Anime but I got into it when I was younger (probably 12ish) and ended up getting a DVD of the show a couple months ago. Isn't bad but nothing too amazing either.

Tried getting into it when it was on Toonami. Didn't work for me.

Just know that the idea all along was ending the series with a feature film, as recently as 2009. Maybe Geno will find something after Hotel Transylvania wraps?

Tekkaman Blade (I have to recommend this), Gunbuster, Bodacious Space Pirates (I haven't seen it though), Gall Force (an older series), and Gurren Lagann, which in the later episodes takes place in space.

What is Tinkerbell up to you may be wondering. well wonder no more. because now it's time for a RECOMMENDATION BY TINKERBELL! this time we're taking a look at an anime from 2009 in Toaru Kagaku no Railgun
Genres: adventure, comedy, science fiction
Themes: school, superpowers

Quote:
Plot Summary: Academy City is a highly developed place in terms of technology. It is said to be 20 to 30 years ahead of the rest of the world. Eighty percent of its 2.3 million residents are students. The focus of studies here is directed towards esper powers. Misaka Mikoto, one of the top level espers in town, shares a room with Kuroko Shirai, another high level esper who is a member of Judgement, a law enforcing agency composed of students. Both attend to Tokiwadai, a private school reserved for the high-leveled and the rich. Kuroko's partner at Judgement, Kazari Uiharu, is a low level esper who studies at Sakugawa middle school. Her best friend and classmate there is Ruiko Saten, a level zero (no esper powers). Together, the four encounter several adventures in the exciting scientific town.
So a little X-Men like but where mutants are treated like the something of the coolest ever, children wants to be an esper, especially a high level esper and go to the Tokiwadai school for all the cool ones, we have 4 main characters: the overpowered all strong strongest of the 7 lvl 5 espers character, her part lesbian roomate who wants her badly, the shy tech genious girl and the non esper related friend who's there to have a non powered character to relate to I imagine, it's a 2009 anime as said, so the animation is quite good and that fucking city they live in is awesome, their traffic lights are so boss it looks like a boss man walking when it's green, but yeah, it's watchable, so like superpowered high school girls, I'd check this out.

A Certain Scientific Railgun is all right. I certainly like it more than the other related series, Toaru Majutsu no Index.
