Azumanga Daioh is pretty much the funniest Anime I've ever seen. Read the Manga, Volume 2 and 3 had me in tears my first time watching.

Can't help you with horror anime, but if you'll settle for horror manga, you could do a lot worse than Uzumaki.
Only 3 volumes and all sorts of twisted stuff.

Well, when it comes to Horror Manga, there is a better selection.

The manga version of "The Ring" is more of a mystery manga until the end, but it has a decent suspense build.

Nightmares for Sale is a "series of random stories" manga, where it all revolves around one particular mysterious shop. The stories range from tragic, gruesome endings, to ones of happiness, depending on how the main character of the particular story reacts.

Higurashi: When They Cry is another Mystery Horror manga set in a small Japanese village they may be cursed. I only read one chapter of this manga. But it definitely raised some questions, and the creepy factor was up there.

No idea if this has been mentioned yet (too lazy to look through the pages), but a great horror-esque manga to read is Franken Fran. I wouldn't exactly call it "horror" -- it won't haunt you in your sleep or anything -- but it's very gory and has a lot of black comedy in it. The main character takes an extremely lighthearted approach to gruesome situations, and the various stories often end with a surprise tweest. You can find direct downloads of it just by googling "Franken Fran," I'm pretty sure.

Finally started Bleach after months of wanting to do so.

Up to Episode 117 and I gotta say that Byakuya/Ichigo fight was awesome. Don't really like Byakuya though.

Kenpachi or Toshiro would probably be my fav character so far.

I watched Higurashi last month. It's really good, you just need to get use to the scenario changes.

Reading Uzumaki. Really, really fucked up shit.

This weeks Brotherhood is my favorite so far. Almost better then the original. I don't know, the original episode hit me pretty hard.

Not yet unfortunately. Its US release is set for mid August apparently.

Not quite looking forward to the English cast this time 'round. Apparently Noah Cyrus will be playing Ponyo, and Frankie Jonas will be playing Sosuke... Yeah, guess who they're related to. I'll give them a chance, but no promises on seconds.

Well, at least Matt Damon will be in the movie as Sosuke's father.
