Lol, I agree with you guys. And what's up with anime shows, manga, and movies being made into live-action films? Speed Racer, Dragon Ball, Neon Genesis Evangelion (even though it looks like it's not going to happen), Akira, Battle Angel Alita(even though they decide to make it cg), Death Note (North America's verison) and now Cowboy Bebop. I mean, anime seems to expands human imigination to great lengths to where it can't be touched by live action movies. I can see a few but not most of those I stated.

Re: Anime Discussion Thread

Dragonball ? If they do it, I think it'll be a HUGE disappointment. They're created as animes for a reason

It's true, It's damn true.
Haha.

Anyway, I just watched all of Beck, and read up to chapter 101 recently. Amazing.
Though the manga is 10x more descriptive and 'better' to me.

Thank you all.

I've never seen Beck. Going to try Basilisk now and maybe I'll move on to it.

Re: Anime Discussion Thread

I've been in a total Anime slump ever since I finished Azumanga Daioh and close to finishing Lucky Star.

Dark times, to say the least...

Who cares?

I remember the golden years.

Re: Anime Discussion Thread

Basilisk was sort of a Japanese Samurai version of Romeo & Juliet. I didn't really like it because of the plot's predictability and the female protagonist was annoying as fuck.

Digimon with Japanese dub is surprisingly good.
