Wow, you didn't even watch this yet. Heh, man you have to watch it, it is funny as hell and characters are a joy to watch. Mugen is one of my favorite characters of all time. Although he'll remind of Spike from Cowboy Bebop. But really Samurai Champloo is one of my personal favorites. |

I fucking hate Samurai Champloo. Only watch the graffiti episode, the baseball episode, and the final string of episodes when they finally get to their destination. So like 5 total out of the 26 episodes.

Huh, why do you hate the show? The characters are relatable and are funny as hell, even though the story was the strongest point of the show but nonetheless it is still pretty damn good. Personally I think it's fucking awesome. |

It's pretty good. Gene is pretty relatable main character. And the supporting characters are good as well such as Hilda, Jim, and two of my favorites: Aisha and Suzuka. Haven't seen it in a while so excuse me for leaving some others out. |

Oh man, I haven't seen it in year but Outlaw Star was a pretty enjoyable anime.
I'll second Rez's recommendation for Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust as well.

You can pretty much get the whole series for thirty bucks.
... Why I haven't purchased it yet is fucking beyond me. That series was all kinds of bad ass.
