Any other Trigun/Big O fans here? I hardly find anybody who watches these shows, they are two of my favorite animes.

Trigun was great until the final episodes.

Who cares?

I remember the golden years.

Re: Anime Discussion Thread

I was un-sure were to put this. Either the graphic novels thread of here. But the novels thread seems slightly more about comics then manga. Oh well, this will do unless if someone corrects me for my error.

I've recently been buying manga (again), the stuff becomes like crack after a while. I'm a huge fan of the show, (I posted how great it is many times here), so I decided to pick up the Azumanga Daioh Manga. Here's a little review.

Azumanga Daioh Volume 1-

*** 1/4. A nice way to introduce everything. There's some really funny parts, but they get mixed in with the "Meh" parts. It's a must own if you're getting into the manga, with out it, you'll be lost by some of the jokes in Volume II and such. A good read, worth checking out if you liked the anime.

Azumanga Daioh Volume II-

**** 1/4. You heard me right. This volume is EXCELLENT. First 10 pages and I was laughing like a little school girl what had one too many pixie sticks. Definattly the funniest manga I own and maybe even, the best. But my manga count is pretty low since I am poor.

Over all, it's worth picking up, strong gaurentee that you'll chuckle a lot. I suggest checking out the show first, to get a feel of what the series is really about. Get a understanding.

I'm hoping to pick up the last two volumes by the next few weeks. I'm hooked.

Who cares?

I remember the golden years.
