Ichi The Killer is a live action movie. it's VIOLENT as hell. movie isn't that great tho.
the best anime movies are no doubt anything by Hayao Miyazaki, Yoshiaki Kawajiri, or Katsuhiro Otomo.
but for gory anime movies, Vampire Hunter D movies rock. so do Demon City Shinjuku, Ninja Scroll, Blood: The Last Vampire (fuck the show), Tenchi, and Karas
have any of you guy seen the Galaxy Express 999 movies or Arcadia of My Youth? they are part of the Captain Herlock saga.
edit: just saw on netflix that there's an Ichi the Killer anime...looks stupid imo.

Like I've said before, I haven't seen Ichi the Killer but I've heard that it was really violent and it involved scenes such as a girl's hand being put in a blender.
Edit: Goddammit! I downloaded Hellsing in French subs!
