What? A lot of times that's people's last option after trying everything else. After spending over 30 years together, my mom passed May 27 this year, and after I tried to spend as much time with my dad as I could, he kept telling me "I have no reason to live anymore." "I don't want to live, I just want to be with her."
He was so depressed, nothing I said or did could save him. Less than two months later, his depression caused him to have a stroke, and he died this past July 23, two days before my birthday, and now I'm left alone.
So why apologize for not feeling a certain way? That's just how you feel, just like how a depressed person feels depressed. Not everyone can handle it, and I'm sure they try their best to deal but sometimes it ends in tragedy like this
Try to have some compassion man because it may be selfish, but maybe he gave his heart and soul to others, and never received the same in return. You just have no idea what people go through.
