Re: FX's The Strain

I thought the first episode was OK(characters felt a bit weak) but the production value for a tv show is definitely top notch.

i hope del toro can make a new blade movie with snipes, i enjoyed blade 2 a lot, like to pretend blade 3(the tripleh one) doesn't exist

Re: FX's The Strain

Was told it was good, haven't been steered wrong yet so I watched episode 1 and wow Still not clear on names so I'll be simple. The wife she is gorgeous and I liked the detective guy and he's the 1st to be drained and Red Viper'd.

That hospital scene reminded me of Walking Dean but I imagine vampires will be much better watch. That guy went out bad

oh, that ending. It was like Babette was on my tv again except she's french now.

Re: FX's The Strain

Episode 2 started a bit slow, but picked up at the end.
I expect a few more episodes like this, kinda build up/back round until there is a lot of of bloodshed.

Props to JamesCurtis24 for the awesome sig

Definitely liking how things are going right now. I think there will be with couple more episodes liberally build things up. After that, they'll probably throw everything at us. Has anyone read the book? Should I read it?

Re: FX's The Strain

Someone confirm that it is better than "The Following" and I'll watch it.

The trailer looked good but I've seen way too many shows like these fall flat on their faces after a while.

We should be proud. While it was not as good as it promised itself to be, Fringe will be remembered as a cult classic from our generation.

Fringe was better than LOST imo.

Life is tragic simply because the earth turns and the sun inexorably rises and sets, and one day, for each of us, the sun will go down for the last, last time. Perhaps the whole root of our trouble, the human trouble, is that we will sacrifice all the beauty of our lives, will imprison ourselves in totems, taboos, crosses, blood sacrifices, steeples, mosques, races, armies, flags, nations, in order to deny the fact of death, which is the only fact we have.
