Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell, man, I wouldn't piss on those guys if they were on fire.

Think of it as a MITB cash in, but without the ugly pimped out briefcase...

Re: General Movie Discussion Part IV: More Revenge (Director's Cut)

Watched Lynne Ramsey's Morvern Callar tonight. Not quite as great as We Need To Talk About Kevin but still good. The first half is probably as good as anything she's done and is as sombre as her other two films, but during the second half the film goes off track a bit and loses what made it click at the start. The titular character of Morvern is always compelling though, as she struggles with her demons and the aftermath of the shocking opening, which is one of the best openings I've seen for a while. It's filmed brilliantly and hits you hard straight away.

WNTTAK > this > Ratcatcher. Looking forward to her next film, though not sure anything has been announced yet.

You'd definitely piss on Jamie Foxx if he was actually Electro though.

People who haven't saw MY FAVOURITE FILM EVER (12 Angry Men) sicken me.

Also I got myself a housewarming present:

Spoiler for Big Photo:

It shall take pride of place... somewhere, fuck knows, haven't even moved in yet, only thing that has been moved in is my framed Desperado poster because I like to know that Antonio Banderas is looking over the place.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part IV: More Revenge (Director's Cut)

Everyone needs to watch Big Bad Wolves - an Israeli crime thriller from last year that is tremendous. It's dark and grisly, acted very well, plus the cinematography and soundtrack are superb and just add this ominous and intense tone throughout. Twists and turns everywhere and a little dark humour thrown in for good measure too. The whole thing had me hooked from the great opening credits sequence until the very end.

Tarantino said it's the best movie from last year. Thought he was talking shit like always, will watch though because ABH. That makes you more authentic than Quentin bruv.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part IV: More Revenge (Director's Cut)

I did see Quentin had endorsed it, that kinda put me off a bit too tbh. Have had it downloaded for about a month. But the premise sounded interesting so I went with it - great decision indeed. I'd be very surprised if you end up disliking it.
