I get to cut a shoot promo while looking like Uncle Fester? I'm down.

You realize the can of worms has been opened.

Your shoot promo would be a KayfabeCommentaries-esque shitfest tbf. Not because you lack the gift of gab, but because you secretly adore me and therefore the shoot would turn into a glorified Eulogy through Rose-coloured Glasses. Don't you dare deny it, who else is willing to consistantly derail threads with you and do it unabashedly? I'm the Grey Poupon (poop on?) to your Ham Sammich.

Thanks man. I missed you guys too. (even that turncoat Bubz)

Life's been a B*tch. I'm in the process of moving out to a new place, overloaded with work, and circumstances in my personal life forced me to take a step back and give it my full attention. That's the criminally short version of it.

Nah.. Truth is, I ran out of lube, got depressed and refused to participate in dry circle jerkings. So now i'm hard at work trying to save up for a new bottle. I'm only a few pennies short. That's the non-sarcastic reason i've been away. That and too much Cody Exposure can drive one mad.

I'm a drug. You want to leave me, but you can't. We've now reached the point to where it isn't a circle jerk. It's a romance. But what kind? Start spouting off all the scenarios from films to fit this one. Gogogo.

It's a Guilty Romance. (lame inuendo to segue back on topic).

I couldn't see new posts in the old thread. More revenge and blarg resurrection came of it, so it was serendipity.

Re: General Movie Discussion Part IV: More Revenge (Director's Cut)

Just finished Mother. Joon-ho Bong finally redeems himself after lackluster efforts with Memories Of Murder and Snowpiercer, this was excellent. A unique mystery that slowly unravels towards a great ending. It's beautifully shot too, though to be fair one of the high points of Snowpiercer was that it was well shot too, especially when highlighting the claustrophobia of the carriages. This is not like that and focuses more on the sweeping landscapes of the whole town and intimate close ups. One of the best films I've watched recently.

I also watched L.I.E earlier which was great too. Dark and sombre, and genuinely uncomfortable to watch at some points, but you'd expect that from the subject matter. Will probably check out Michael Cuesta's few other films now too, surprised it took me so long to watch this considering he's directed episodes of Six Feet Under(!), Dexter and Homeland.
