Singles Match
Aaron Kendrick vs La Pantera
Great to see Kendrick back. I had actually forgotten that La Pantera still exists.

Singles Match
Cheri Hayven vs Flexx Palumbo
Easy win for the returning Cheri. Flexx is improving but Cheri is GOAT.

Singles Match
William Gust vs Austin Angel
This Kid Austin Angel is going places.

Television Title Match
Bruce Thorn Jr. vs. Jensen (c)
I dont normally root against myself, but BTJ is the toughest opponent I have ever faced. We came into the PWC at the same time, had a few skirmishes in the beginning, but have managed to stay out of each others sight until now.

Legacy Title Match
Barney Williams vs Shadow (c)
Touch call here. But I give Shadow the slight advantage.

Singles Match
Aaron Kendrick vs La Pantera

I like La Pantera style and I feel he could give much more in PWC. I have not seen Aaron Kendrick in a while.

Singles Match
Cheri Hayven vs Flexx Palumbo

That singer is back :side: and knowing her very well I must say with all due respect to Flexx but Cheri should win this without much trouble. Although I fancy a Cheri lost here. ;)

Singles Match
William Gust vs Austin Angel

Tough call. I'm intriguing by both guys lately and I feel both could win but the experience should prevail against all opposition.

Television Title Match
Bruce Thorn Jr. vs. Jensen (c)

The champ is facing a tough opponent that will bring the best out of him. It should be an amazing match. But I expect Bruce Thorn Jr. to win by a small margin.

Legacy Title Match
Barney Williams vs Shadow (c)

Barney made clear his intentions to win the Legacy Title and this is a moment that you can't waste in your career. But I see Shadow as a more complete wrestler he'll probably win this match.

Haven't done predictions in awhile, mine as well do some.

Singles Match
Aaron Kendrick vs La Pantera

I don't even remember who La Pantera is lol.

Singles Match
Cheri Hayven vs Flexx Palumbo

Flexx is entertaining, Cheri is great. Welcome back Cheri.

Singles Match
William Gust vs Austin Angel

Becca says AA is gonna win and who am I to disagree with a gorgeous woman like that?

Television Title Match
Bruce Thorn Jr. vs. Jensen (c)

I don't know who's gonna win both can be pretty damn good when they bring it. I'm gonna take the champ cause nobody else has.

Legacy Title Match
Barney Williams vs Shadow (c)

Going with another title retain here as it seems Barney doesn't have a lot of time this show and a rushed RP being title winning worthy is nearly impossible.

The Gust or Bust tour bus arrives in Seattle.

“God, Seattle is such a shithole…” William Gust thinks to himself as he stares outside his personal tour bus.

William Gust takes one big swig from his bottle of Blue Moon, and let’s out a defining “BURPPPPPPP” William Gust pounds on his chest, and tosses his Blue Moon beer bottle on the floor, next to the other 5 bottles of Beer that’s he had since he woke up at 10AM….. It’s only 11AM.

“I won the match…Where’s Jensen! I won the match, I got the pin, management has to listen to me and give me Jensen right.” William Gust stands up and walks to the front of his tour bus, towards his bus driver.

“Hey,… You… Do you know who I’m fighting tonight? You’re my assistant, you should know this… Please is it Jensen… It has to be Jensen.”

“Sir.. I read the email from PWC and your opponent tonight is Austin Angel.”

William Gust eyes open wide. Wha.. What?!

“Your opponent is Austin Angel.”

“Who the fuck is Austin Angel?"

William Gust goes on a rampage, kicking his empty beer bottles across his bus, knocking plates, cups on the floor, and grabs his laptop and begins smashing it against the table.

WHO!? *Continues Smacking Laptop against table*

THE FUCK!? Smacks*

IS AUSTIN ANGEL?! The laptop is completely destroyed.

“Sir, Austin Angel is a former rock star, and has a decent amount of success in PWC.” The Bus Driver says…

“Wait…. Say that again.”

“Austin Angel is a former rock star and…”

*William Gust interrupts his driver

"Star!? This guy is supposed to be a star, I’ve never heard of him. But this… This is perfect, I’m tired of all these wannabe stars here in PWC. I’m the true star damn it! Austin Angel considers himself to be a former rock star… I've never heard of any of his songs." Gust proclaims.

“Sir” The bus driver says, somehow getting the balls to interrupt William Gust.

Did you just interrupt a William Gust monologue, how dare you..

I’m sorry sir. I just have a question, that I need to ask you.

“It better be a damn good question, for you to interrupt me,” William Gust is still incensed.

"You hate Jensen with a passion, but you are just as successful as him. You just got angry when I mentioned Austin Angel’s star power…. You have it all.. you just seem so… Jealous. I wonder what sparked this kind of anger in you." The Driver waits for backlash...

No response.. No outburst in anger…

William Gust begins to walk to the back, stepping on his broken plates, beer bottles, and drops down on his couch… And begins to speak...

"When I was a kid, growing up, I would get commercial. Extra work in sitcoms, I would keep working, and working. That’s something a lot of people don’t understand, working from the crack of dawn, to the dead of night, remembering lines, not having friends, was being groomed to be a star. And after all that hardwork, it came a role of a lifetime… I had the chance to be a Power Ranger.. Sounds stupid I know.. But growing up, I didn’t get to watch a lot of TV, but on Saturday morning, I would always manage to get up and watch Power Rangers, and I knew one day somehow, if I work hard enough I would be one of them. And finally my family got a call from my agent, saying they wanted someone younger to be in the Turbo series, and I knew that was my chance, because you know what growing up all I ever wanted to be was a Power Ranger, and this was my chance to live my dream, no one else's but mine. And I went to that audition room, and I killed it. I spilled my heart out, about how that’s all I wanted to do growing up, and I felt that spot was mine. Weeks later, I actually get a call back, me and this kid Blake Foster, were both there, and I don’t remember how the day went, but at the end of it, they decided to go with Blake Foster, and you know what there reasoning was? Because he did one little Casper movie, and had more exposure. Not getting that role hurt me, but you know what hurt me the most, it was what he said to me, “Sorry dude I know you really wanted this role, but I needed this to protect my spot and the industry,” or some shit like that. He didn’t even watch the show, and I learned from there that in order for me to get ahead, I would need to be cutthroat, and I worked harder, until I had a protected spot.

So yea I get angry, when I see other wrestlers, so called stars, because I get protective. I'm a paranoid fuck, I mean let's say PWC disappears, and men like me, like Jensen, like Austin Angel, have to go back into acting. Or what if some major production, that could save my career, wanted to hire someone on the PWA with “star” power, with guys like Jensen and Austin Angel on the roster yea I get protective.

I’m just protecting the spot I’ve worked hard for. And right now the one spot, I want is at the top of PWC. And that spot can only hold one guy, so I have to prove myself against guys like Austin Angel, and Jensen, to prove to the fans, that I am the true star of PWC. And when I do that, I'll be at the top, and I will protect my spot!

You know what this show will show the world which star shines the brightest, Angel or I."

Tonight… The Gust or Bust tour runs through Austin Angel, and is full steam ahead to Jensen City.

Austin Angel RP:

A Hotel In Oakland, California, 10 AM:

As we fade in to the scene we see the inside of a nice hotel room. The room is nicely picked up for the most part minus a few articles of clothing on the floor. The only sounds coming from the room are the faint sound of the television and a blow dryer running in the bathroom. As we get a closer look we see Austin Angel laying in the only bed in the room, eyes closed but awake and in the bathroom is his future wife, rising music star Becca McKay who's just finishing blow drying her hair. After turning off the blow dryer, Becca walks out of the bathroom with it in hand as she packs it into their suitcase and looks over at the bed, shaking her head with a little laugh.

You know we have to check out in an hour right? Gotta head off for the next PWC show.

Austin lets out a groan as he opens his eyes and sits up in the bed.

Where is it again?

Seattle, Washington.

Oh right.

Austin rolls out of the bed and stumbles to the bathroom to go take a shower as we fade out.

45 Minutes Later, In The Hotel Lobby.

We fade back in and see Becca standing at the counter, checking them out of the hotel as Austin stands in the corner of the room, now dressed in nice jeans, a black V neck t-shirt, sneakers, and sunglasses. He looks ready for whatever the day brings as he checks PWC.com on his phone. Suddenly he's interrupted as he feels someone tugging on his pant leg. He looks down and see's a young child looking up at him with a hopeful smile on their face.

Excuse me mister, are you Austin Angel from PWC?

Before Austin can answer, the child's father comes jogging over from the counter and grabs his son by his hand.

Jacob didn't I tell you not to run off? I'm sorry sir.

The father looks up, and Austin now has his sunglasses off as he smiles at the child, who we now know is named Jacob and then shakes his head to the father.

No worries, I take it your son is a fan?

The father now realizes his son was right earlier about who the man in the corner was, and shakes the outstretched hand of Austin.

Yes, you're his favorite.

The father chuckles as Austin bends down and shakes the hand of the young boy.

Hi Jacob, it's always nice to meet a fan.

Jacob is starstruck and just nods in awe as Austin laughs and his father speaks up.

Would it be too much trouble to ask you for a picture with him?

Austin shakes his head and out of the corner of his eye sees Becca finish checking them out.

Not at all. Just one quick picture though.

Austin puts his arm around the young boy, who has a huge smile on his face as Becca walks over and stands by the father, a little annoyed at the hold up as he snaps the picture of his son with the PWC superstar.

Thanks Austin means a lot.

The father grabs his son to pull him away as Becca steps in.

Austin, lets go our ride is waiting outside for us and we have a flight to catch.

Austin nods.

Right okay, lets go then.

Austin turns to the father and son.

It was nice meeting you.

Becca quickly hurries Austin out of the hotel and outside before any other interaction can happen and after the door to the hotel closes, she rolls her eyes as they walk around to the front of the building.

You know maybe it's time we invest in some personal security for you, seems like fans have no issue just disturbing you in public and coming right up to you for a picture. And who knows if they'll start doing that to me as well now. And we can't risk any crazed fans doing something stupid like trying to attack us or something.

I don't think that's needed Bec, it was just a kid and I like interacting with the fans.

And the fans just want you to be their little monkey who does everything he can to entertain them. They don't care about you.

Austin goes to respond as Becca shakes her head in disappointment, but as they reach the front of the hotel and he sees a limo waiting with the driver holding a sign with Becca's name on it, he gets caught off guard.

A limo? Isn't that a bit much for a ride to the airport?

Becca shakes her head again, this time in disagreement.

Nothing but the best for my man, besides after a little talk with Ms. Page she was happy to arrange it. Now let's get going.

The two get into the limo as the driver holds the door open for them, and then closes the door and gets into the drivers seat and heads off for the airport as the scene fades out.

A Half Hour Later:

As the limo pulls up onto the air strip, the driver gets out and opens the door as Austin and Becca step out, and Austin is surprised at both where the limo stopped as well as the fact they're now standing in front of a private jet.

A private jet? Bec, this is way too much.

Becca shakes her head again in disagreement.

No it's what you deserve, it's what we deserve. Now we can travel to Seattle in peace, enjoy a drink or two and discuss your upcoming match with William Gust.

Austin doesn't know what to say, so he simply goes along with it.

I guess, maybe we can discuss this new friendship of yours with Ms. Page too.

The two walk up the steps and board the plane, sitting across from each other at a small table as the door closes and the pilot enters the cockpit and prepares for take off as a stewardess brings the couple each a glass of wine.

So how did you manage to get Brittany Page to agree to a limo and a private plane anyway?

Austin raises an eyebrow but Becca just smirks and shrugs.

Simple. I told her you were her best superstar and deserved the very best, and it took some convincing but she agreed you deserved all this. After all you've been in PWC since day 1 and now these new guys like William Gust think they can come and just take your spot?

Becca shakes her head.

Not on my watch. You did great last week proving you're not washed up by really taking it to Kyle Elric and quite frankly he got what he deserved. But he didn't even seem like he had his head in the game mentally and we both know William Gust will. Considering he's trying to prove he deserves a title shot. But I think if you beat him that'd be a great way to prove the person who really deserves a title shot is you.

Austin nods in agreement.

You're right last week I got aggressive cause I had to send a message to the rest of the locker room, this week Gust is trying to make a name for himself by beating me and I'm not gonna let that happen. The way I see it he's just another wanna be who thinks a couple wins gets him somewhere, I've seen a million others like him and so far, not many have panned out. As much as he has potential, I have the proven talent and ability. This week I need to continue proving I'm not washed up and beat him..

Becca takes a sip of her wine and nods in agreement.

He has potential sure but you have more to prove and who knows, maybe if you beat him you'll have done enough to prove you deserve to wear championship gold around your waist. In fact I think if you keep following my advice and stop showing off for the fans so much and keep focusing on winning, you could do more than win the Television Championship, or the Legacy Championship. You could become the World Champion.

Austin chuckles a bit.

Well it's gonna take quite a bit to reach that level, but that's the goal is to one day get that world title. I have only fought for it once, maybe twice ever.

And that's a crime if I do say so myself. But don't worry babe, with me by your side, you'll reach the top of the PWC mountain, I'm sure of it. But for now lets focus on the present, and that's you beating William Gust.

Austin nods in agreement once again as the pilot comes on over the intercom and says "Mr. Angel, Ms. McKay we'll be landing in Seattle in just a few minutes, it's a usual rainy day in Seattle but luckily it should be clearing up in about an hour and after that it'll be a comfortable 75 degrees today." Upon hearing that Becca and Austin thank the pilot and finish up their drinks as the scene slowly fades out.

New Endings

A young Matty and a Young Kyle sit inside the classroom. They must be no older than about 14 years old. They’re sitting and chatting away. Meant to be doing Math but forget that.

The teacher approaches them.

Boys, can I see you both outside for a second?

They look at each other with worry, but follow her to the outside of the room.
They shut the door behind them and the Teacher looks down upon them.

Good news boys. You both aced the test.

They look at one-another with absolute joy in their eyes.

But. Both your test papers look the same. The exact same scribbling outs, the exact same positioning of your writing on the paper, the same everything, except the actual style of handwriting.

Oh shit. Shadow was always good with numbers, so he’d allowed Kyle to copy, but didn’t realise they’d get caught.

It was all Matty miss, I let him copy cos we’re best friends, please don’t send me to detention.

Thanks for being honest Kyle, you’re free to go back inside.

Matty looks on in confusion as his Friend just totally double-crossed him.

As for you Matthew, I am shocked! Usually such a good boy. I’ll see you in detention tonight.

___________________

The boys sit together at lunch.

Kyle, how could you do that to me? You know you copied.

Matty, we’re best friends. Sometimes we have to take the fall for each other. You know I can’t afford to take another detention. What would my dad say?

Kyle was right. And Matty had a lot of respect for Kyle’s dad and wouldn’t like anything to upset him. But was it really right to drop your friend in it to save yourself?

Look, I’d do the same for you. Don’t worry anyway, it’s just ONE detention.

I guess you’re right.

Matty had a lot to think on. But he knew he’d forgive Kyle. He was all he had.
___________________

*1 Day after Vortex Episode 4*

We see Matty and Kyle approach each other in the middle on the Gym. With a clasp of their hands, they pull their arms around each other’s back. A ritual of Male friendships. They begin to speak to one another

The Gym is alive. There are around 8 men within. 2 Sparring in the ring, a couple on the treadmills, 2 guys on the weight machines, one doing sit ups and another walking out of the shower rooms dressed to leave.

This man pats Kyle on the shoulder as he is mid conversation with Matty.

See ya man, thanks for coming!

Kyle turns back towards Matty.

It’s been great here. Despite our little PR session not going according to plan last week.

Look, the Legacy champion was here, that’s all you needed. There’ll be plenty more occasions for those events and with guys who are actually willing to help.

Shadow taking shots at the challenger before their big meeting in the Main Event next week.

Good point. But anyway, we gotta work hard if you’re gonna win, you’ve lost all of that momentum.

Excuse me? I’m not the one who got beat by a wannabe and muscle and fitness’ answer to Jim Carrey.

You may think that, but the archives have that down as a loss for Shadow.

Matty knew that was true. And it burned him up inside. Infact no, it pissed him off.

It doesn’t matter, we’re gonna train hard this week, and retaining this gold is going to be no bother.

Once again, you’re wrong. I’ve got a lot of meetings to try and set us up some advertisements, sponsorships etc.

So what, I’ll just work with the guys here?

I’ve appointed a head of training. Someone to help these fellas mainly, but also because I think you’ll do great under his help.

All of a sudden behind Shadow is a behemoth of a man. Standing at least 6”9. Short Silver hair but the physical build of a pure athlete.

Big B… Barry O’Shea.

At your service young man.

Matty and Big B shake hands.

He heard I opened this place back up, and he wanted a slice of the action.

Built my life here. Carved a name for myself in these walls. No better place for me.

And now, he’s head of training. So this week, he’s built up an intense course for you to both undertake which will see you retain that belt.

That’s right, with my help you’re gonna do what I did and dominate your opponents. Just maybe not with as much physical presence. But never the less, it starts at Vortex 5 when you defend the strap against that moron Barney Williams. I dunno what he was doing this week, but he’s put an asterisk on your title reign making you lose that match. And there ain’t no way that a man under my tutelage is having an asterisk above his head.

That’s right, you’re the legacy champion because you’re carrying the legacy of this place, of me and Barry, and of the old man himself, Steve Dawson. What legacy is he carrying? Let’s face facts. You unmasked and it lead you on a path to the Legacy Championship. You embraced much more than just following the darkness, and it’s brought you success.

But a lot of me and what I do is still about harnessing the darkness-

Let me finish. He unmasked, and he found a little success of his own. He won that Prometheus torch. But that’s not an opportunity. Whilst you’re the champion, whilst you’re with us, that torch is a guarantee. A guaranteed failure and a beat down at the hands of Shadow. Because you do still utilise that darkness. You still have that side that is willing to go the extra mile, and that’s why you can’t lose.

You’re right. Yeah. I will win. I will utilise everything I have in my arsenal. My move set, new tricks I’ve learned training with you, anything Big B can show me. And the Darkness. Barney is another man who used to have dark aspects to his life, but he’s dropped them. My maintaining of them will be what takes me further, and what means I walk out of Vortex still flying high and holding this prize over my head.

All three men have an intense stare at each other.

Let’s do this.

Wow it’s like the band’s back together isn’t it… We just need Tony. Shit, where has Tony been?

I haven’t seen him since Dad’s funeral. It’s not really crossed my mind.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*Couple of Days after Alpha and Omega*
We fade into a flash-back type moment. Matty and Kyle sit side by side at Steve’s funeral. Tony stands at the front giving a truly emotional speech.
… And with that being said. Steve. My Coach in life, in sport. My father figure, and above all else, my friend. I want to say goodbye. We ALL want to say goodbye. So one by one, if everyone could make their way out, walking past Steve, and just say a final little goodbye we’ll then see him off for the final time.
Having kept it together so well, as soon as Tony leaves the podium he bursts into tears. People walk past one by one. Sone touching the coffin, some just passing. Everyone having their own little way of saying goodbye. “Bye Steve; I’ll miss you; See ya Steve; So long friend etc.”
As Shadow passes, his eyes are flooded with tears. He takes his time, touches the coffin and delivers his final farewell.
I know you’ll always be here, but for now, I’ll see you soon. Thanks for it all.
Tony is still watching all the people walk past. He pulls Matty aside.
Hey man, heard you’re trying to re-build the bridge with Kyle?
Yeah, he came and met me at the Gym the other day. We trained. And well, you saw the outcome I guess.
Yeah I did, congrats man, if anyone deserves it, it’s you. But be careful, alright?
I’ve been a champion before; I know this paints a target on my back.
Not that, Kyle.
What do you mean? You’ve always been the one who wanted me to patch it up with him?
I know that, but something about this just doesn’t feel right.
Something about what?
Suddenly Kyle approaches the two.
Hi Tony, how’s it going?
As good as it could, considering the occasion.
Kyle hugs Tony.
Look, we’re all here and we’re all in this together, right?
Matty smiles at Kyle and looks back at Tony as the pair leave. As they walk away, Matty's head goes mad with thought. That moment felt so awkward. So strange. It feels like there's something no one's telling him, but what?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

*Back to the day after Vortex 4*

We fade back up in the gym. Matty remembers the conversation with Tony and confusion begins to surround his mind. He’s seen nothing apparent that would mean anything Kyle was doing “Didn’t feel right”. In fact, it felt very right, back to old times and almost like his life coming full circle.

Yo Matty, what’s up?

Suddenly Matty snaps out of this world of his own as Big B and Kyle have been speaking this entire time.

I erm. I gotta go find Tony…

Matty turns and begins walking hastily to leave. Big B and Kyle look on in confusion.

Just as Matty reaches the door, it swings open. On the other side, is Tony.

Me and you need to talk.

Cut to black.

La Pantera? Isn't that a girl's name?

[hide]
Aaron Kendrick is sitting in his office, behind his desk, drinking a cup of coffee while looking down his glasses at some papers. He takes a swig and puts his mug down. He begins writing when his office phone begins ringing. He takes off his glasses and picks up the phone.

"Yeah?" Inquires Kendrick. He sits in silence as he listens to his secretary on the other end of the line.

"Wait, who? El Pantero? No, it can't be La Pantera. La is feminine. El is masculine. If I'm facing La Pantero then I'm facing a girl. I'm not an intergender wrester. Well, Jade may say differnet, but that's not the same. What do you mean it's a guy? Teresa, it can't be La, it has to be El. Ok. Ok. Vortex, next week, ok. Gotcha. Call Phil and ask him to come in to work for a few extra hours. I need to go do some homework.:

Kendrick hangs up the phone and then picks up his iPhone. He holds it up to his face for another phone call.

"Hey babe. We're back on Vortex next week. Yeah, we're working El Patnero. What? So his name is legitimately La and not El? Do his parents actually know Spanish or are they really this stupid? Yeah, La is feminine! Ok yeah, so that's who we're working. Get one of those outfits on, I'll be home in twenty minutes. Yeah, let the training begin! Ugh I can't wait to see what outfit you wear for me this time."

Aaron hangs up the phone and starts smiling, He stands up and starts undoing his tie as he walks towards the door to leave the office.

Twenty-four minutes later...

Aaron is laying in bed beside Jade. He is sweating uncontrolably while she is biting her lip and smiling at the same time. He looks over at her.

"Wow. I've never experienced anything like you. And looking into your eyes, I know that you know what I know. We both know that La Pantera has never experienced anything quite like me. The Franchise. And next week on Vortex, I will allow him the privelage of expereincing The Franchise. And when it's all said and done, maybe I'll give him a job at the office. Because his career in this business will more than likely be over."

Jade looks at Aaron and smiles.

"As long as no one else gets my job."

"No babe. No one will ever take your job. Although, as easy as your job is, you did just blow it."

The couple laughs as Aaron gets up out of bed and walks away. Jade stays in bed and watches him walk away.

Two hours before showtime.

Camera pans backstage for a PWC website exclusive. "The Franchise" Aaron Kendrick is seen in the floor of the dressing room stretching. His legs spread out almost to a split, Jade standing behind him and pushing him forward towards the floor. After a few seconds, he gets up and walks over to her He gives her a kiss on the cheeck before grabbing his athletic tape and starts wrapping up. Jade looks at him and asks,

"Babe, what's wrong? I can tell something isn't right."

"I'm giving the business to someone else."

Jade looks stunned. She can't believe what she's hearing. Kendrick can tell, so he explains further...

"I signed it all over to CJ last week. He and I have been best friends our whole lives. Right now, my passion is wrestling. I need to put all of my focus on it. These guys here in PWC are serious business. My full, undivided attention needs to be here on nights like tongiht with guys like La Pantera. These guys have such bright futures. And in order to achieve anything, I have to be hungry. I have no motivation if I have nothing to lose. If I want to come home to you and have dinner on the table, I have to make money. In order to make money, I have to be good at what I do. And now, what I do is this. I am a wrestler.And Jade, I'm The Franchise, baby."

Jade smiles as Aaron turns around and puts his headphones on. "This Love" by Pantera can be heard blaring on his speakers. The camera pans back to Jade, who begins laughing as the camera fades to black....
[/hide]

Sorry for cutting it short, didn't have much time to write this one. But I do want to say thank you to the staff for adding me onto the card at short notice. Great to be back.

Read this RP well, as it shows how Barney Williams is redonning the Whisper attire for one more match etc. I'll fling someone a PM with the super smexy entrance! And yes, this took a while because it made me cry a few times, I've written this four times because it just broke me every single time. I got some strange looks from my GF, lets put it that way.

Barney Williams

My name is Barney Williams. A son, a best friend, a sleeping pill addict.

Sometimes, life gives us lemons, sometimes we make lemonade, other times the acid overpowers us. I should be on a high right now, I found my father and I have the biggest match of my life in less than twenty two minutes. I still plan to make an impact, prove a point and prove everything I have ever wanted to prove, but I'm not a hundred percent

Hell, i'm not even sure why I'm here.
Barney Williams - Three days before Vortex 5 - New Orleans

I still didn't know what to think. My dad hasn't exactly turned up all happy and rainbows had he? It was stupid, I know. I should of cared because he was my dad, and in a way I guess I did care. I cared because he did make me, but at the same time he faked his own death to get away from me. He faked the death of my best friend to get away from me.

Since that day my life was a mess. Everything had gone to shit since that race, I had to take sleeping pills to even remotely sleep. Then my dad decided to make himself known, make himself look like he cared about me. He was the reason I have depression, I have all the mental problems I had, he doesn't get to walk back into my life without a warning.

But did he help me? Yes. He knew I wanted gold more than anything, he knew I wanted to win the Legacy Championship. Was it him who persuaded me to cash in? Maybe it was, but it was me who decided to put my career on the line. I'm in a situation I can't win, the legacy championship is but a simple fix to a complex problem.

I had been invited down to New Orleans, my final chance at redemption. I needed to fix myself, get myself in order to be sure I had a chance at victory. A psychiatrist, best in the country at what he does. Depression is never fun, it ruins lives and destroys relationships. I put on a front for months, but I can't hide from it anymore. Depression catches up to you, mine was in the form of my dad.

Speak of the devil, of course he was at Vortex 4. I spotted him in the crowd, I spotted him watching me, studying me as I lost. He made me sick, he made me hate myself even more than I do. I got out of there before he could talk to me, but I still want nothing to do with him, nothing at all.

Depression catches up to you, that's a bad thing about depression. It never goes away, you can never get rid of it. Not even the psychiatrist could help me this time. I was past that, i'd be treated like a fool. I hate everything about depression, I hate everything about myself to be perfectly honest with you.

I stopped myself before I could slide that blade.

Killing myself wouldn't help anything. I had the biggest match of my career coming up, I would do what I do best. Wrestling is a temporary fix, my cocaine. It would keep me going, it had to keep me going. Without it, I couldn't handle.

Barney Williams - Vortex 5

But I can't beat Shadow, not like this, not like me. I need to revist my past, the thing I tried to get away from. Shadow unmasked, I will put that mask back on, hide my depression and my pain behind my past, a time when I was free. Tonight, Whisper returns to action, I go out there and do what I do best.

I destroy. My past makes it possible, the pain of my past will power me tonight.

BRUCE THORN JR.

V

The pages were like a window into the past, a murky window that fades the closer he looked then suddenly became clearer the longer he stared. Bruce Thorn could sense the pieces coming together. The pieces of a long lost life, a life he tried to forget because it hurt too much to remember. They were pieces of shattered dreams and hopes long faded. It was so close he could taste it. Every word a step closer to what he thought he wanted to know, or did he?

Letter from Martha Thorn

My Bruce,

How are you? We miss so much, Bruce. I know you promised that this would be your last long tour in Europe for a while but it doesn’t make it any easier. Bruce started little league last week. He’s really good. But of course he got into a fight with some kid who dared say his father was a bad wrestler. He says he didn’t want to play baseball anyway, he’d much rather train as a wrestler like his father. Barbara is growing up so fast, she’ll be talking any day now. We can’t wait for you to come home. I showed them the tape you sent us of that Championship match you had, they were both so proud of you. We all are.

Tommy says hello as well. I worry about him. The problems he was having with his wrestling company seem to be getting worse. The bank doesn’t want to approve that loan he was so excited about getting, the loan he thought would save his company. You know how reckless Tommy can get when his back is against the wall. He needs his big brother here to help him find the right path.

We miss you, Bruce.

Love Martha

Thorn set the letter down and took another deep breath. It was all forming in his mind’s eye now. The events that leading up to his parents demise. All of it left a bitter taste in his mouth. Was everything he believed a lie after all?

Bruce, hey Bruce.

Thorn turns around to find a smiling Uncle Tommy standing behind him.

You’ve been up here in the attic all alone the entire weekend.

Bruce made himself give Tommy a sad smile. This was the man who raised him, who was always there for he and his sister. He helped train him and make him the man he was today, he even took his fair safe of punishment while Bruce was wrestling. He trusted Tommy and loved him too. But still.....everything pointed to one thing, that Tommy was hiding so much from him. That Tommy's wrestling company was connected to the Brunos.

Just reading Uncle Tom. Thorn lifted the letter in his hand up as Tommy sat down beside his nephew. He took the letter slowly and then read it solemnly before sighing deeply.

I, I…..I know how much you and your sister miss them, because I do too.

Tommy's voice cracked as he said the words, horse and full of pain. He had loved them too. It was plain to see. But sometimes we do things that hurt the ones we love. Bruce felt like he should just come out and ask him. Tommy wouldn’t lie to him, not now. But he couldn’t….not yet.

Your parents loved writing to each other while your father was on those long wrestling tours he had to go on. It became like a tradition for them, you know. We saved as many of those letters as we could from….from the fire. I wish we could have saved more. I wish you had more of them to remember. I haven’t seen you read these for so long. Why now?

Bruce shifted his eyes away from his uncle, afraid that they might betray his true intentions.

I was just disappointed after Vortex, that’s all.

I understand but you shouldn’t be, Bruce. Trying to fight off Hammerpunch and defeat him for the title is hard enough without having to deal with Crowley and his entire cult army.

Bruce Thorn stood up then and strode across the room.

It’s the World Heavyweight Title, Uncle Tom. It’s what I worked for…..what we worked for everyday for more years then I can remember. And I lost, I blew it, the biggest chance in my career and I couldn’t get the job done.

You can’t be this hard on yourself. Anyway, you have to put the disappointment aside for a moment. You’ve got Jensen on the next Vortex for the Television Title.

Jensen would be a formidable foe. He was quick and skilled and determined, truly one of the best that PWC had seen. Their careers had mirrored one another in PWC in many ways, having had their very first match together and then done battle with everyone else but each other since then. And now their paths crossed once more for the TV title, a championship Bruce loved.

I know, I know. I have to find focus again, put the past behind me, or should I?

Tommy looked puzzled. Yes, you should. You can’t cry over spilled milk. Crowley is the World Heavyweight Champion now, you’ll get another opportunity oneday son. But for now you have to focus on Jensen.

Thorn picked up a family picture next to him, he wiped it with the palm of his hand. It was another item saved from the fire, another item he treasured from the past.

There are some things we shouldn’t forget from our past Uncle Tom. There are some things we should always remember.

Thorn set the picture down.

I want to remember the pain I felt watching Crowley lift the World Heavyweight title. I want it burned into my soul forever. I need to remember that feeling forever, so I never, ever let it happen again. Jensen has something that I need too. I wanted to make the TV title the most prestigious title in wrestling. I wanted to defend it against all comers every week and when it was all said and done, the title would be elevated to something so much more. I tried that and I failed against Jacobs too. I know I lost the World Heavyweight title match last week, but this week I get a chance to right all those wrongs with the TV Title and finish the job I started.

Tommy stands up and meets Bruce on the other side of the room again, placing an arm on his nephew’s shoulder.
Go take back what’s yours, bring the TV Title back home.

Bruce looked down at his uncle hand for a moment then looks up and smiled.

I don’t care how good Jensen is, I don’t care how great of a TV Champion he’ll make, or how much attention he’ll bring to the title now that he’s some kind of movie star. No, I was the first TV Champion and I intend on being one again. That title is mine; it's time to finish what I started, to make it what it should truly be. I’m going to make that title the greatest thing in professional wrestling and I'm going to start with this match with Jensen. He better be ready. because I am.

Thorn sets the picture down next to him and watches it for a moment.

I have to! I can’t fail again, I won’t fail again.

La Pantera strums his guitar lightly. He watched the beautiful orange mass of the setting sun fall slowly as day faded to night. The chords he played seemed to move in time with the sun.

The sun sets on all of us oneday.

He played a song he knew well. It calmed him before a great battle. And La Pantera had so many great battles in his career. He leaned back his chair, relaxing his tense body. He could feel the ache in his back again. It had flared up recently, the pain shooting through every inch of his body. His fingers ached as well, yet still he played. The music took the pain away.

We all sacrifice for the things we love, don’t we?

What La Pantera had sacrificed was his body. He had fought for so long and so hard, had given so much to Lucha Libre, something he loved dearly. He regretted nothing. He may have pain but the memories took the pain away. He remembered the first time he lifted a championship belt, and the pain floated away then. Lucha Libre had given him so much in return, not just memories that lasted a lifetime but this huge piece of land and house he called home.

Why shouldn’t I have pain, it proves I earned all of this.

Pantera strums on his guitar once more, playing a song that took the pain away. He remembered a younger man, a stronger man. He knew he wasn’t as good as he once was. A younger Pantera would have been force in PWC, maybe even a Champion by now. But he wasn’t that man anymore.

No! I cannot think that way. I will not think that way.

Pantera still loved Lucha Libre. Maybe he isn’t as good as he once was, but he could still be strong. He could still win matches. He still loved the thrill of the fight, he still loved the roar of the crowd. The notes from his guitar filled the evening air, his fingers playing the chords that lifted his spirits and made him feel strong again.

IS IT TRUE!

He turned around to see her standing with tears in her eyes before the wind swept her raven hair across her face.

TELL ME, IS IT TRUE!

Yes, it’s true mi amor.

You promised Alpha and Omega would be the last time. And now you do this.

She fell to her knees. La Pantera slowly stood up and then sat down beside her. He embraced his love and held her close.

I’ll be fine. I can still fight, my body is still strong, my mind is still strong…and I still love Lucha Libre.

She looked up at him then with tears rolling down her cheeks.

You can’t do this forever, Pantera, I’ve saw how hurt you were after Alpha and Omega. Please don’t do this. You body may be strong now, but oneday soon it will break. I’m begging you, please no more of this madness.

Pantera looked into her eyes; he could see the fear in them. But he couldn’t stop, not now. He wouldn’t let his career fade into the night like this slow setting sun before them. He wouldn’t let the lasting memory of his time as a Luchador be him never winning a match in PWC. La Pantera swept his love up in his arms and set her upon the chair before sitting down in front of her with his legs crossed.

Sometimes we have to be brave to earn the things we want. And I want this with all my heart. I am still strong; I still have the heart of a warrior and the mind of a Champion. I can still do this, I ask you now to believe in me. I cannot do this without you.

Pantera picked up his guitar and played a song he knew she loved, then looked into her eyes once more.

Believe in me one last time, I beg you. If you don’t believe in me, how will they believe in me or how will I believe in myself? This Aaron Kendall is a great fighter, powerful and strong. He will be a formidable opponent. I need your support to make me strong and I need your love to give my strength. I can’t do this without you.

Pantera’s words caught the notes of his guitar as he said them.

Believe in me.

She leaped from the chair and sat down on the floor next to him, before wrapping her arms around the Luchador.

I believe, so one last time, be Pantera, be the man, be the warrior, be the luchador. Show PWC who you truly are.

La Pantera smiles once more, then turned around and watched the final moments of the setting sun. It never looked more beautiful then that moment.

Bucky is dealing with a health issue right now but still wants to get an RP in, which is awesome of him. We're also only missing a couple of RPs so we're giving everyone a final 24 hour deadline. Feel free to edit your RP if you have already submitted one (or get something in if you haven't already :()

This extension will not extend the show deadline so there shouldn't be any massive delays because of it.

JENSEN

There are people out there who say that "good things come to those who wait". Basically, if you are a patient enough person, amazing things can come your way. I have never believed that.

I am not one of those people.

I believe in hard work. I believe in going out and finding the good things yourself, grabbing them tightly, and never letting them go.

For years, I worked hard on the independent wrestling circuits.

I dragged my bruised body through the smallest of promotions, the dirtiest of buildings, and still I put on a show each and every night. Although I had a good following, there were those who doubted my abilities. There were those who told me of my shortcomings every single day.

Many Years Ago.

The match was hard hitting as usual. Me and my opponent, a 7 foot tall Romanian man with tattoos covering 90% of his body, stood at the center of the ring, wondering why either of us would go down. He circled me with a slight limp, as my constant kicks to his legs had taken effect. He was noticeably slower and less mobile, but he still hit hard like a mack truck.

He lounged in at me swinging with a wild hay maker, but luckily his lumbering body telegraphed every move and I was able to duck underneath. I rolled him up for a near fall.

We stood back up. He charged in at me and I delivered a drop kick directly on his chin, knocking him straight down. He raised himself up to one knee.

BOOM!

A shining wizard to the side of his head knocked him back down to the mat. He looked dazed as the crowd chanted my name. That should have been it. That should have been my time to take the pin and get my hand raised.

But it wasn't.

I rose myself up to the turnbuckle as the dozens of fans in attendance cheered me on. It was very risky, but the reward was high. The fans would love it. Just as I was bout to leap onto the Gypsy giant, I lost my footing and crashed into the mat. As I rolled around on the mat, my opponent was able to come to his senses, and soon it was lights out for me.

That defeat hurt.

I rolled out of the ring and walked backstage to the locker room. I can feel all the eyes in the arena looking down on me, so I kept my head down and continued my walk of shame towards the locker room.

Jens Schaefer, can we get a word from you?

One of the interviewers with this company shoved a camera in my face and proceeded to ask me what seemed to be million questions.

Another tough night for you Jens, what do need to do to change your luck here in Freestyle Wrestling Championship?

Well, its just one of those things I have to figure out on my own. Its a tough pill to swallow, but I have to make changes fast. But thats who I am, I push through even when things are tough and confusing. For example, A dead turtle was left on my doorstep as a warning one day. I couldn’t figure out as a warning for what, and I guess whoever was watching me picked up on that, because the next morning there was another dead turtle, but this one had several sheets of paper glued to its back leg. The pieces of paper contained a long footnoted explanation of all the symbolism involved. It didn’t make a lot of sense to me. The turtle was the “turtle of inquisitiveness” and the cheese smeared on its shell meant something, and the little cowboy boots on its feet meant something. Everything about this animal meant something apparently to whoever sent it. I still didn’t get what it was all about. The next morning there was no turtle. Till this day, I have no idea what it all meant, but it is one thing that keeps me going. Same with wrestling. I am going to wake up tomorrow and work even harder.

The interviewer walked away confused. He was muttering under his breath, but he was still within an earshot of me, so I heard every word.

What an idiot. This guy will never make it.
I took that evening to heart and worked hard to improve. And because I worked hard, a big wrestling promotor came knocking at my door wanting my services as a wrestler. I signed with the PWC and the rest is history.

I don't have a famous father. I don't have a famous wrestling name. All I have is my hard work and the Television title. Nobody can take that from me. Not even Bruce Thorn Jr.

Premier Wrestling Circuit (PWC)
...Presents...

Arena:KeyArena
Capacity:17000
City: Seattle, Washington

***

A dark, rusty and cavernous place can be seen in the distance, this place bears the echos of decay in this harsh facility. The resonance of it's past helps induce an eerie silence and pervasive darkness. Inside the sinister and ruined place, shapes of things began to form out of what had been uninterrupted darkness. A faint glimmer of light begins to shine up from below, the shine of the light becomes brighter and brighter in the spotty dark walls. The room blazes suddenly with the red-yellow light with dozens of candles and the stained walls of the building reflecting the flares of light across the dusty sweep floor. They march, black hooded figures marching as they come near, the ground begins to jolt. The smoke from the candles begins to circle slowly, centering in a kind of grey whirlpool.

Far, far off in the blackness a figure emerges, and the figure grows swiftly like a sinister peril emerging from the distance too vast for a mortal mind to grasp.

My name is mighty and majesty among men and all earth.

The figures in black cloaks begin cheering and shouting his name with all their strength. “Crowley, Crowley, Crowley… “

Their voices echoes across the sky, enemies who hear it freeze to the bone. Suddenly a web of mist blasts as if by a terrific power and sweeps everything aside and standing there at the center of the stage a man with a black robe and hood steps in fiercely, silently, staring at the icy sky.

Let my name be blessed forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to me. So it is written, so it shall be done… the king is here, to rule the world.

Soon it will be the time for the ceremony to begin.

The camera, in one continuous movement, rushes up from an overhead shot of Crowley’s body with extended arms, up past the open roof of the building and the pans right to show an army of cloaked figures, then left to the glowing light of the flames as they fade when the darkness falls.

A king must have his prize.

Crowley opens up his robe to reveal the World Heavyweight title belt around his waist.

A prize I must now shape in my own image.

Crowley nods to some of the dark figures who quickly run to the other side of the room and open up a blazing furnace. Crowley unbuckles the world heavyweight title belt and hands it to his minions.

Time seems to speed by as the followers accept the belt and head towards the furnace. We see Crowley extend his arms out once more and look to the sky and then a soft voice is heard.

Your Majesty, it's ready now.

One of his followers hands Crowley a blacksmiths hammer and the new World Champion heads towards an anvil and begins to hammer something we can not see as sparks fill the room and the scene fades out.

***PYRO***

Stan Chambers: Ladies and Gentleman, welcome to PWC Vortex! Tonight we have an action packed show. Not one, but two titles are on the line! We also have the return of Cheri Hayven!

Charlie Cambell: Don't forget, this is the start of the Crowley era in the PWC. Things now are are going to get a whole lot darker here.

Soon the lights fade out and a certain resonance hangs in the air. The silence is broken as the opening riffs began to devour, trample and crush, sending shock waves throughout the arena. Tilting images begin to play on the titantron as the crowd hold their breath.

Charlie Campbell: Can you feel it, Chambers? It feels like the mood in the entire building has just changed.

Stan Chambers: How can you not partner, we've all felt this before, we all know what's coming. He's here, the Worl.....the World.....

Charlie Campbell: Well my broadcast colleague can't even say the words, but it doesn't make it any less true, it's the new World Heavyweight Champion, Crowley.

From the eerie almost reverent silence that passed over the crowd, the bassline and opening riffs echoed off the walls, as a thin purple light begins to surround the whole arena. It’s infectious rhythm builds in a slow crescendo accompanied a haunting voice. The lyrics fill the arena.

♫I am a man who walks alone. ♫

The cameras pans out to reveal tall and morbid iron gates on the entrance ramp. Smoke rises mysteriously from the ground on stage, seeping through the gates as they began to creak open. We see a lone figure bathed in darkness coming up out of the ground. As he ascends the light around him seems to form the shape of hands that try to reach him with the sound of wailing tortured souls mixing with the music.

♫And when I’m walking a dark road. When the lights begins to change I sometimes feel a little strange, a little anxious when its dark.♫

Some fans take out their phones and wave the lights in the air like fireflies as the dim purple light surrounding the arena turns to the red, then back to purple again like waves in an ocean of people.

Campbell: Do you hear that terrible, it's like growling thunder rolling from the depths of hell?

Chambers: That's one hell of a description partner, an apt one at that. It's like Crowley is ascending from the depths of hell here, it so hard to describe the feeling in the building at the moment, the man just radiated evil.

The gates begin grinding open. We hear a familiar voice over the music,

"Hell is one long, everlasting night of impermeable darkness, and the damned cannot even see as they are chocked by sulfurous smoke."

Crowley stands statuesque on stage as the mist surrounds him. As the explosive sound of drums broke through the bassline, pandemonium erupted as people began shouting and pumping their voices in a mix of excitement and boos. Crowley begins his walk down the ramp as the mysterious dark hooded figures, that form part of his cult walk behind their leader carrying a black box heavily engraved with cryptic symbols. In the back of the line of hooded figures, four of Crowley's zealots carry what looks like a golden throne on their shoulders.

♫At the corner of your room you’ve sensed that something’s watching you.♫

After his long walk, Crowley stops for a moment and inspects his surroundings.

♫Fear of the dark, fear of the dark. I have a phobia that someone’s always there…♫

The purple light around the arena seems to descend on Crowley all at once as he enters the ring. He lifts his head to uncover his face, as the new World Champion shows off a diabolic smirk as the songs fades into the background with his cult carrying the throne and black box into the ring.

The dark figure place the throne in the middle of the ring and then slowly kneel before Crowley who looks down on the black box before opening it.

Crowley
: Your Championship belt, my prize, that I won with my own two hands has been transformed into something far more fitting.

Crowley reaches into the box and pulls out a gleaming gold crown as the crowd gasp at it's splendor.

Crowley: Since the beginning, no one has ever stood in the heavens. Neither you, nor me, not even God himself. But that unbearable vacancy in the throne of Heaven shall be filled. From this day forth, I will stand in heaven. This throne will be my seat and testify to my existence and the greatness of who is worthy of occupy it.

Crowley took the crown of gold placing it on his head with an air of defiance, before carrying on with his voice booming across the arena.

My wrath is ultimately aimed at creatures in rebellion to my will. And, for that any rebel who dare to defy me will suffer devastating consequences of divine fury. Justice demanded a penalty for sin. And that penalty will be severe. I am the king who has been bestowed with everything. I am a divine authority so let it be known who they should kneel down to. You are all in the presence of a King. Now then… you shall all bear witness to me and my wondrous glory.

The king is crowned and turns to face the large crowd before seating himself upon the throne wearing his golden crown.

Chambers: Crowley just melted down the PWC Heavyweight title and turned it into a crown for himself. He genuinely believes he's some sort of God King?

Campbell: And who exactly tells him, he's not? Who exactly is there to stop the Champion of the World, Stan?

*** War Machine***

Right on cue, the music of the former World Champion Donald Hammerpunch blasts throughout the arena. Fans began to chant wildly as the martial arts master emerges from behind the curtain. Flanked on either side of him are Ross and Tim Drake, Hammerpunch's young students. Steve Marinello is also with them, walking slowly behind with crutches. The four members of the Donjitsu dojo walk half way to the ring before forming one line. All members of Team Hammerpunch are wearing their traditional Donjitsu Kimonos.

Stan Chambers: Look at the focus on Hammerpunch, he is here tonight and he means serious business.

Charlie Cambell
: He even brought along the entire Dojo!

Steve Marinello hands a microphone to Hammerpunch. When the crowd finally settles down, the Donjitsu black belt slowly brings the microphone to his mouth.

Crowley and his minions give the former champion their full attention.

Hammerpunch
: You know I see you up there and it kills me. You see...

I loved being world champion. Every night I put my body on the line to represent this company as a warrior. Every time I came out here I fought with honor and respect, even in the face of adversary.

Hammerpunch pauses for a moment as he gathers his thoughts. Crowley remains in the ring, grinning as his conquered foe continues.

Hammerpunch: And to see what you have done to the title, that is just sickening to me. I fought and crawled my way to the top of the PWC, despite everyone telling me I could never be champion. You are spitting on everything I stand for.

In my line of work, I take belts seriously. They remind me of the many hours I have put into training to get where I am now. They remind me of the sacrifices I have made.
When I get my rematch at Hell's Judgment, you are going to truly know what it means to fight for what you believe in. There will be blood, their will be sweat, there may even be tears from both sides. But in the end, I am willing to sacrifice more to get what I want.

Crowley Stands up and speaks into his microphone. A smirk comes over his face.

Crowley: Why wait for Hell's Judgment?

Crowley looks over at his minions and nods. Soon they crawl out of the ring and begin to surround Hammerpunch and his students.

Hammerpunch and his students are outnumbered by the hooded figures surrounding them. The former champ puts his hands up behind his back as if to signal his surrender.

The minions look over at Crowley. Crowley nods and the minions step forward to get to Hammerpunch.

BAM!

Hammerpunch pulls a pair of nunchuks which were duck-taped to the back of his gi! The other members soon get into a fighting stance all while revealing hidden martial arts weapons. Crowley's men soon back off.

Brittany Page: That is enough!

The PWC interim manager's face appears in the titantron.

There will be none of this nonsense tonight. If either of you continue this, your match at Hell's Judgment will be scrapped and the title will be vacated. I am not going to have Vortex turned into a kung-Fu movie.

Both sides ease up. Crowley's mean back peddle towards the ring towards their master.

Britney Page
: And speaking of Hell's Judgment, your little theatrics inspired me. Since you like weapons so much Hammerpunch, you are in luck. At Hell's Judgment it will be Crowley vs. Hammerpunch....

in a street fight.

The camera zooms in on Hammerpunch as he is nodding in approval. Crowley is less enthusiastic as his grin is replaced by a frown.

The camera pans back to Hammerpunch as he stares at his nunchuks smiling.

{COMMERCIAL}
We head back to ringside with Stan Chambers and Charlie Campbell at the announce desk greeting the PWC audience.

Chambers: Welcome back fans, I know for a fact that a lot of you have been wondering about a certain star that we haven’t seen in a while who’s known all over the world but didn’t necessarily have the greatest time during his first run here in PWC.

Campbell: Yes, but this man is hugely talented and just a great competitor who has all the tools to make it big here in PWC.

Chambers: For me, this man is an absolute legend, a great wrestler who is a model to any young up and comer of what a true professional should be, and he’s a nice guy to boot.

Campbell: I’m so glad you changed your mind about him, Stan. I remember you hating him when he was first in PWC. And yes, he is a great pro, an absolutely brilliant performer, we’re lucky to have returning here in PWC.

Chambers: Changed my mind? I always loved him, so yes fans tonight we see the return of…

Chambers and Campbell say both names at the same time…

Chambers: La Pantera…..

Campbell: The Franchise” Aaron Kendrick….

Chambers and Campbell both stare at each other with Stan Chambers shaking his head.

Chambers: Kendrick?

Campbell: La Pantera’s back, Stan?

Chambers: Well, it looks like we have two returning stars tonight fans.

Campbell: Two returning stars who will face each other right here tonight. Brttany Page is putting in some huge work getting both those guys back on Vortex. What a match.

***Perfect Strangers***

The KeyArena turns gold as the fans are on their feet ready to boo The Franchise upon his return to PWC. Pyro explodes and out walks Jade, who gets a much warmer reception than her man. She has her handycam with her to capture the egotistical Aaron Kendrick who appears at the top of the ramp! The lights turn dark blue as Kendrick walks through the sparkling pyrotechnics, Jade kneeling in front of him to make sure she captures everything for him to no doubt watch back. The crowd boos him as he sticks his nose in the air at them on his way down the ramp. He rolls underneath the bottom ropes before posing for Jade in the ring who continues filming The Franchise.

Emma Mason is also in the ring with Referee Gil Artman ready to introduce both wrestlers.

Mason: Introducing first from Star City, weighing in at 235lbs, making his PWC return, The Franchise, Aaron Kendrick!

Campbell: Kendrick looked in fine shape, Stan. Ready for the battle ahead.

Chambers: Well he’s going to have his hands full with the legendary luchador, that’s for sure.

Campbell: Just look at him. The Franchise is ready for anything, he’s undoubtedly one of the most resourceful men on the roster.

Kendrick takes one last pose for Jade and the crowd before turning his attention to the entrance ramp, as he awaits his illustrious opponent.

***Mexico lindo y querido***

Mason: And his opponent, from Guadalajara, Mexico, weighing in at 198lbs, also making his PWC return, La Pantera!

The crowd erupt as flashing lights cut across the entrance way with La Pantera’s music blaring throughout the arena. He steps out from behind the curtain with his back turned towards the stage, showing off his name emblazoned in gold and silver on the back of his robe glittering against the lights. He turns around to face the KeyArena with his arms extended before regally striding down the entrance ramp, acknowledging some of his adoring fans in the crowd.

Chambers: Now here comes a man of true class. A lucha libre legend, La Pantera.

Campbell: Nice guys finish last, partner. La Pantera maybe a former great, but what has he really done since coming to PWC?

La Pantera walks up the steps and carefully climbs into the ring. He nods at both Emma Mason and then Gil Artman before removing his robe and staring intently across at Aaron Kendrick, who’s gone from focusing on Pantera to watching a replay of his entrance on Jade’s camera.

Chambers: I think La Pantera will be the first to admit that he hasn’t had the success he wanted yet in PWC, but I spoke to him earlier today and the man seems absolutely focused on the task of proving the doubters wrong and showing PWC and the world what he can truly do, that he STILL very much has it.

Campbell: A motivated Pantera should be a really interesting prospect against the returning and energized Aaron Kendrick.

The referee calls both men to the centre of the ring with La Pantera’s smile peeking through his mask. The gentlemanly La Pantera extends his hand out in a show of sportsmanship with the crowd applauding him for it. Aaron Kendrick looks down at the hand and smiles at the luchador. Kendrick goes in for the handshake.

Campbell: Look at that, Pantera isn’t the only man here with honour, what a great moment….

Kendrick fakes the handshake and instead runs his fingers through his hair with the crowd booing the man loudly for it. Kendrick looks over at Jade and asks if she got that on camera.

Chambers: You were saying?

Pantera shakes his head ruefully and chuckles to himself before hoping up and down and asking referee Artman to get the match started. Artman nods his head and asks Kendrick if he’s ready with The Franchise too busy checking his entrance replay. Again Artman asks Kendrick if he’s ready with the returning star waving off the referee. The Senior Official shrugs and then calls for the bell.

Match One | Aaron Kendrick vs. La Pantera
***Ding, Ding, Ding***

La Pantera explodes from a standing position and smashes Kendrick in the corner with a running Dropkick to the face knocking the camera from the man’s hand with Jade quickly running to pick it up and make sure it hasn’t been damaged. Kendrick leaps to his feet in half a daze with Pantera continuing his assault by throwing a series of quick right hands to his foe. Pantera pushes Kendrick back into the corner and then jumps onto the man before hitting the Monkey Flip, sending his opponent head over heels and hitting the canvas face first! Kendrick grabs his face in pain before slowly stumbling to his feet with Pantera acknowledging the crowd in Seattle who are loving seeing the great old luchador do his thing. Pantera points to the ropes and jumps on them before showing incredible balance by walking along the middle rope and then jumping onto the top rope and springing onto Kendrick and delivering the Hurricanrana which again takes down his foe! The Franchise tries to pull himself to his knees once more but the quick luchador springs to his feet and connects with the Tornado Kick to the back of his head! Kendrick goes down in a heap with Pantera immediately going for the cover. Referee Artman slides in and makes the count.

One…

Two…

Kickout! Kendrick manages to roll his shoulder before the three comes down with Artman signalling as much to the crowd. Pantera again quickly springs to his feet and looks down at his dazed opponent. Again he looks to the crowd to give him their energy, clapping both hands together with the adoring KeyArena following suit. Pantera points to the corner this time and quickly moves towards it. The old luchador who’s most comfortable in the air quickly ascends to the top rope with his back towards Kendrick lying flat in the middle of the ring. The crowd sense what’s about to happen and begin to find their feet.

Chambers: It’s been all La Pantera from the get go here.

Campbell: Kendrick has had no answer to Pantera’s speed, I really hate to say this but this just might be a complete blowout in La Pantera's favour.

Chambers: When I spoke to him earlier, La Pantera was absolutely determined to pick up the win here tonight. It’s no wonder he’s come out all guns blazing like this.

Jade is beside herself trying to urge Kendrick back to his feet. La Pantera lifts his arms to the air and finds his balance before springing off the top rope and going for the Senton of Honor, his springboard Imploding senton bomb. Pantera launches himself and comes crashing down to the mat onto Kendrick but The Franchise gets his knees up with Pantera’s back taking the brunt of the impact. The crowd gasp with the image of Pantera’s back curling over the knees of Kendrick replays on the big screen. The old luchador is down in agonizing pain. Kendrick is on his hunches but lets out a knowing smile. He looks down at the broken luchador but now with malice filling his eyes. Kendrick springs to his feet and with renewed energy immediately goes after Pantera’s injured back, stomping down on his foe with the bottom of his boot. The villainous Kendrick then drops a series of hard elbows to the small of the back with his opponent letting out a scream of agony with every vicious blow. Kendrick grabs the man by the mask, pulling him to his feet before driving another knee into his midsection, taking the air from the body of the luchador. Kendrick lets out a light laugh before pointing at Jade to capture this, with the much bigger man pulling Pantera into the powerbomb setup position between his legs. Kendrick tells the crowd it’s all over and lifts Pantera in the air looking to drive him through the mat with a Sitout Powerbomb. Once in the air, Pantera finds his senses and smashes the man in the forehead with a series of hard shots. Kendrick tries to muscle his foe into position but the blows are enough to take him off balance. Pantera sees his chance and tries to turn the powerbomb into a headscissors Driver, but Kendrick blocks, switches Pantera into position in the air and counters with his signature Double Knee backbreaker! Again Pantera is in agony with the Seattle crowd gravely concerned for the fan favourite. Kendrick arrogantly places his palm over Pantera’s face and doesn’t even bother hooking the leg for the cover.

One…

Two…

No! Pantera bearly rolls his shoulder off the canvas. Kendrick shakes his head in disgust, annoyed that the luchador won’t stay down. He pulls his foe to his feet, but Pantera falls back down. It’s clear the injury to his back has taken its toll. Kendrick again tells Jade to make sure she gets this one, as he sets his foe into position for his finishing move, Talent Exchange, his version of the Falcon Arrow.

Kendrick lifts Pantera in the air, going for the killer blow but No! Pantera keeps fighting, driving his knee into the temple of The Franchise. Kendrick staggers back, dazed from the blow. Pantera sees his last chance and goes for the La Pantera Clutch, his unique rollup combination but Kendrick blocks! The Franchise, who is clearly the much bigger and stronger man muscles Pantera into position, lifts him in the air and then hits the Talent Exchange to resounding boos throughout the KeyArena! Kendrick winks at the camera Jade is holding as he goes for the pin.

One…

Two…

Three…It’s Over!

Winner: Aaron “The Franchise” Kendrick

***Perfect Strangers***

As his music plays in the background Jade runs in to celebrate with Kendrick with victorious Franchise speaking to the camera held in her hand.

Chambers: That back injury was just debilitating for Pantera, he just couldn’t come back after that.

Campbell: Kudos to The Franchise for doing what he does best, seeing a weakness in his opponent and exploiting it.

Chambers: You have to think that Kendrick would have put himself squarely in Brittany Page’s thoughts with a win like that after his big return.

Campbell: Absolutely, it’s a huge win for Kendrick and a devastating loss for La Pantera. Undoubtedly The Franchise has put himself in a great position to move up the ladder here in PWC with that win.
{Cut to Backstage Area}

Backstage the Television Champion Jensen is with Danny Eriksen. With the title over his shoulder, it brings out even more of his movie star good looks.

Eriksen: Thank you so much for joining me here tonight Jensen, it’s a real honor! One of the hottest movie stars in the world right now AND the PWC TV Champ! Life must be pretty sweet for you right now!

Jensen: I can’t lie Danny everything is going my way, but that can all end if I’m not focused on my opponent tonight. The first and to date longest reigning TV Champ Bruce Thorn Jr and I have a date with destiny. Tonight on Vortex him and I will no doubt go to war for this belt, because deep down inside he thinks it’s his and right now, I’m not letting it go.

Into the frame walks William Gust.

Gust: All the best tonight bucko, I really hope you do retain that belt, because I wanna be the one who takes it from ya.

Jensen: You’re lucky I'm not wearing my fighting moccasins right now, because otherwise you would be in a world of hurt after what you did.

Camera pans down to reveal that Jensen is wearing his casual time moccasins.

Gust: Yo, easy up on the threats there, you’ve got a big title defense tonight, and well like you said you don't want to be distracted. I mean, even more that you are now. I know what you’re thinking and you’ve got to get it out of your head man.

Jensen: What are you even talking about, Gust?

Gust: Oh Morgan didn’t tell you that me and her did a few scenes together back in the day. That’s got to eat you up inside. Let’s just say I showed her the ropes and gave her a few “acting” tips. Get it? Tips?! Eh?!

Jensen takes the belt off his shoulder and muscles up but Gust laughs and walks off... Jensen isn’t happy and PWC Vortex goes to commercial.

{COMMERCIAL}

PWC is back from commercial and Flexx Palumbo is already in the ring. The big man is showing off his biceps to the crowd.

Chambers: Welcome back to Vortex and as you can see the big man, the Alpha Male is already in the ring and riling up this crowd ready to take on the former Legacy Champion who didn’t actually Lose the title, she was attacked by Kyle Elric and then stripped of the title by our interim GM...

***Going Under***

Cheri Hayven’s music hits and the crowd goes ballistic!!! Flexx covers his ears from the deafening roar as the former Champ has returned to competition![/B]

Campbell: My Gawd Stan listen to this ovation!

Chambers
: What?!!? I can’t hear you over this amazing ovation!!

Campbell: What?!?!

Cheri makes her way out with her groupies flanking her. She can’t help but smile from the reaction from the fans as she looks very happy to be back and competing again! She enters the ring and to the delight of the crowd stands on all four turnbuckles soaking in the adulation of the fans like the rock star she is. Flexx snarls he is not impressed. He cracks his knuckles and rubs his hands together, he looks ready to take out a “chick” surely the Alpha Male can do away with some small “broad”.

The fans chant Cheri! Cheri! Cheri! Over and over as her music dies down and the ref checks Palumbo and then walks over to check Cheri when...

Voice: Hold on! Hold on! Hold on!

The fans look around and then up to the entrance ramp and as Ms Page walks out they all boo in unison!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Page: Hmmm... I’m going to ignore that Seattle. Cheri darling... welcome back sweetie. How are you feeling? Does your Dad know your back in the ring?

Cheri looks up. She’s not impressed that Page leaked to the world that she is the PWC Owner’s daughter. She yells at her to shut her mouth for once.

Page: Oh sweetie, things have changed around here, and you see this match, this little comeback of yours is not happening here tonight in Seattle Washington.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Page: Oh no you see I haven’t received any paper work across my big mahogany desk stating that you are cleared to wrestle. So security, for the safety of Cheri Hayven and for the safety of this company, please escort MISS Hayven back to the locker room area.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Security walk out and the groupies get in their faces. There is some push and shove and Cheri is pissed off.

Page: Oh and Emma... please announce Flexx Palumbo the winner by forfeit.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Emma Mason doesn’t want to do it. Hayven is livid! She starts screaming at Page! Page though smirks Flexx jumps up and down as Mason does her job.

Mason: And the winner of this bout due to a forfeit.....uh... Flexx Palumbo!

Flexx jumps up and down again!!! Running up and down the turnbuckles throwing his fists in the air as if he had just won the Heavyweight Championship!

Cheri gets out of the ring and runs up the ramp looking to attack Page the wall of security though seemed to already have been briefed on this scenario and stop her in her tracks. She screams at Page telling her this is “Bullshit” and that “she’s dead!”. Security push and shove with the groupies her try to get them to unhand Cheri. One of them gets punched in the mouth! Cheri takes exception and super kicks that security guard!!!

Security them jump all over Cheri and wrestle her to the ground. The crowd is almost in a riot over the situation!!!

Cheri is brought to her feet and quickly ushered out of the arena down the side of the ramp. Page laughs saying “Ta ta” as the scene fades out.

***

Static fills the screen for a moment before a distorted image pops up and then fades away into the background as static fills the screen once more. We hear a menacing voice almost singing in the background as the static again fades and then the screen flashes with a man’s smiling face, then with the same man standing alone with his arms extended out. The distorted image finally starts to become clear with a bearded man smiling at the camera. The man spins around and then steps back and beckons the camera to follow him. The scene suddenly flashes away with an aerial shot of the man as he looks up to the sky with the scene turning to static once more. The static stops for a moment with nothing but dead air and then flashes with images of the man working back and forth before the stranger’s voice fills the air.

I see you, the real you. I know who you really are, and I accept you for what you are.

The image distorts again for a moment with shots of people sitting around a fire listening to the strange man.

You hide behind those fine cloths and let them tell you your gold makes you better, that the beauty around you makes you a better human being, but it’s all a lie, all that finery, all that gold, you know it deep down in your soul, you know who you truly are.

We hear the eerie laughter of children for a moment and then the face of the man with a smile on his face once more, before the image distorts one more time before reforming with the man staring directly into the camera with cold hard eyes with a red hue around him.

I can help you, all of you. All you have to do is trust me, trust what I can make you become. Join me, find me, trust me, let me help you.

The man leans back and looks to the heavens once more as the scene suddenly fades to black before a graphic pops back on screen.

Remy Dieu is coming soon……

***Requiem for a Dream***

Dr Nero’s music hits and the fans react accordingly. They boo intensely as out walks the former Champion of the World and his valet. Both dressed to the nines, Nero walks with his head held high and a smirk on his face.

Chambers: There seems to be a little bit of a spring in Nero’s step tonight CC.

Campbell: And why wouldn’t there be Stan? For the last two months all we’ve heard from Nero day in and day out is how he can’t reclaim “his” title until Hammerpunch is no longer holding the gold. Now that Crowley is Champion, Nero probably thinks he’s next in line.

Ellie sits on the middle rope in her short dress, allowing Nero to step through the ropes without them touching his very expensive suit. Ringside assistants hand the big man a microphone which he grabs with a handkerchief. The fans boo him relentlessly, but for what seems like the first time since he won the title, he can’t remove the smile from his face.

Nero: Last week... the fraud known as Hammerpunch was finally exposed. And he no longer has possession of my Championship title. So, Clement’s little rule keeping me from taking back what is mine is now lifted. And I am now free to reclaim what is rightfully mine. I knew it would happen sooner, rather than later as Hammerpunch is a fool. A comedy act, someone who has brought disrepute to the Championship. But now that time is over.

Just before Hammerpunch lost his title, I sent a message. I destroyed the former so called #1 contender who believed he was up to the task of freeing me from my exile from the title scene. Hammerpunch went to war with Ivory and only just survived. Whereas I squashed Ivory underneath my boot heel like the cockroach that he was.

So now all there is left is for someone from the office, I don’t care who thinks they’re in charge right now, whoever it maybe. Please whoever it is, come out to the stage and announce to the world that I, Dr Jason Nero, am the new number one contender to the Heavyweight Championship of the World.

The crowd can’t believe the arrogance of Nero and that he thinks he should be next in line for a title shot, when...

***Sabotage***

The fans pop as out walks Bruce Thorn Jr and his manager, Uncle Tommy! The crowd give the two a standing ovation and start chanting one of the most famous names in the modern history of prowrasslin.

Thorn! Thorn! Thorn! Thorn! Thorn!

Uncle Tommy: Oh Nero, why can’t you look past that big mirror you’re probably always staring at see what all these people do. You’re yesterday’s news my friend! You come out and pretend like you're still the man around here, that you have some kind of divine right to that title. We’ve all moved on from you and biggest thing in the world right now is my nephew Bruce Thorn Jr! Who’d you go Bruce?

The fans pop again!

Thorn Jr: No one owes you anything Nero, not these fans, not Ernesto Clement, not Brittany Page, not my Uncle Tommy, maybe Ellie, it's probably why she's still with you, and certainly not me. We’re out here to tell you one thing.....Wait, did I mention how good it felt when I finally got to punch you in your stupid face at Alpha and Omega!

The crowd are electrified by Thorn Jr!

Thorn Jr: You think you can manipulate everyone around you. Hell you tried to throw that beautiful woman at me, trying to use her to convince me in working with you against Hammerpunch. You’re a piece of trash Nero, and Ellie honey. When you finally open your eyes and see he’s using you, I’m willing to let you come over to Team Thorn gorgeous.

Nero: Little boy, all I’ve heard from you are insults and hollow words, nothing of substance ever comes out of your ungrateful mouth does it, and here I was thinking I could help you be a mature a little, be less of an ingrate, how wrong was I... Last week I sent a message to those who think they can best me. You’re obviously too stupid to understand it. You attacked me in the Legacy Gauntlet and cost me that match. You of all people should be the last person to come out here and speak to me like this. Now leave before I embarrass your already worthless last name right here...

Thorn takes a back at Nero’s comment, no one talks about his family. But Tommy gives him a hand signal, and Bruce composes himself.

Thorn Jr: The line starts behind me. I'm going to earn another shot at that title, and I don't care who I have to go through to do it. As for you well, you mustn’t have been listening Nero, because we said you are yesterday’s news! You ain't getting a title shot pal. Your time’s come and gone. It’s my time now. So I suggest you go back to putting bandaids on kids’ knees because the future is now and I’m the man who will become the next Champion of the World and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it!

***Sabotage***

The fans pop but Nero scoffs at the thought of Thorn getting a title shot before he does.

Chambers: Well what do make of that partner?

Campbell: Bruce Thorn Jr has all the confidence in the world coming out like he just did. He has improved in every single match he’s been in. That’s why he held the Television title so long. A title that someone has to defend almost every week. He pinned Nero in the Gauntlet match and that means a lot in this industry, but it wasn’t a one on one match... After what we saw from Nero last week and how easily he dispatched Ivory, well, I think Nero’s gone to a whole new level. Thorn has got to be careful!

Chambers: Is Bruce Thorn Jr writing cheques he can’t cash, that remains to be seen, but what we do know is that later on tonight, Thorn will be in a war against the latest TV Champion to try and regain what he lost, when he takes on Jensen!

{COMMERCIAL}

The camera cuts to the center of the ring where the beautiful Emma Mason stands. The camera lingers on here displaying her full figure. Music soon blasts throughout the arena.

Emma Mason: Ladies and Gentleman. Our next match up is scheduled for one fall and the winner receives a shot at the TV title next Vortex. Introducing first, from the City of Angels, weighing in at 225 lbs, its Austin Angel!

***On My Own***

As the music kicks up, a spotlight pans up to the top of the arena searching for Austin Angel. The camera finally focuses on the top of the ramp where Austin Angel is seen standing, once again discarding his old entrance. As he walks quickly down the ramp as fans cheer him on. Although they are loud, the noise doesn't seem to faze him. He soon makes his way inside the ring without slowing ever slowing down. As he stands in the center of the ring awaiting his opponent, the fans continue.

Stan Chambers: Austin Angel seems to be all business tonight folks! His expression hasn't changed once.

Charlie Campbell: Lately we have seen a much focused Austin Angel. His much more aggressive approach has done wonders for him. Tonight he looks to stay on his winning ways.

**Good Dirty Fun**

Emma Mason: And his opponent from Hollywood, California, weighing in at 195lbs, William Gust!

The lights in the KeyArena go out, and Gust's voice is heard over the loud speaker "I demand my spotlight" a spotlight is shined on the entrance ramp, and Gust is standing there. The spotlight follows Gust as he walks to the ring. A few fans remember Gust from his many movies and let the movie star turned pro wrestler have a good reception. Much more of them know him from his work inside the PWC and boo him loudly. Gust steps into the ring and heads straight to the middle. He opens his cape and the lights turn on. The fans in the front row gasp as Gust’s spectacular cape unfolds and reveals the beautiful colours underneath. The crowd, however, continues to boo loudly.

Stan Chambers: It looks like the crowd aren't to impressed with Gust's displays here!

Charlie Campbell: Despite his victory last night, Gust still has a lot of work to do in order to get the crowd behind him. Let's not forget that he has had dealings with Jensen.

Stan Chambers
: Hard to cheer for a guy who is going after one of the most beloved stars in PWC.

Match 2 | Austin Angel vs. William Gust
***DING, DING, DING***

The two stand across from each other and before the bell even rings Austin Angel darts across the ring and begins to back Gust up with several stiff punches to the Jaw. After a huge win last week, Angel looks to continue his momentum. With that action, Gwen Jeffers calls for the bell to officially get this match under way. Austin Angel then grabs hold of the Hollywoood native and whips him straight into the corner turnbuckle. Not wanting to slow the pace down, he charges forward and delivers a drop kick which connects with the head of his opponent. Gust stumbles forward and hits the mat. He is up quickly but Austin Angel dives in for a chop to the back of the leg.

Gust pops back up again but is hit with a second chop which cuts him back down to the ground. Austin follows up with a quick elbow drop to the inside of the leg. He stands up gets in position and hits a standing corkscrew moonsault! The crowd erupts as Austin Angel moves in for an early pin.

One..

It's not enough and the former actor kicks out almost immediately. Both men are now standing as they look for an opening. They soon tie up and Angel transitions to a headlock. The athletic Austin Angel then whips Gust hard into the turnbuckle. He charges in but is met by a huge forearm to the skull. Gust reverses position, grabs the ropes and begins barging his shoulder repeatedly into the ribs of Austin Angel. The referee begins to count.

Gust breaks hold as Gwen Jeffers was about to reach the count of five. Gust gets in the referee's face as he is warned of the rules. He charges back into the turnbuckle but is met by the big left boot of Austin Angel. Austin hopes onto the turnbuckle and leaps with a huge missile drop kick!

Angel looks to continue the attack, but William Gust rolls out of the ring to avoid further damage. However, as he stands to compose himself Angel flies through the ropes and delivers a huge suicide dive! Gust Crashes hard into the barricade. The crowd is on their feet as Austin Angel is putting on a show! The referee begins to count to ten as both men are laid out onto the barricade. Angel is the first off the ground and lifts Gust to his feet He attempts to whip him into the turnbuckle, but Gust counters! Angel goes flying into the stairs! Gust takes a few moments to compose himself before rolling back into the ring!

The referee is now at seven and Angel is struggling to get to his feet. He is clutching his lower back after colliding with the steps. Angel manages to beat the count of ten as his dive just makes it back into the ring Gust is standing there waiting and as Angel gets back to his feet, William Gust strikes with a huge Beauty Shot! The elbow strike stuns Angel and Gust follows it up with a backbreaker! Angel goes down clutching his back and Gust immediately goes for a cover.

one...

two...

Angel digs deep and manages to kick out before the count of three. He is slow to his feet though as Gust moves in once again to strike. He ties up Angel and delivers a quick suplex to the middle of the ring. While Austin Angel is down the former actor runs and drops both knees the head of the fan favourite. Wanting to inflict more damage to his opponent, Gust picks up Angel by the hair. Several drops of blood trickle down the face of the daredevil from Hollywood. Gust begins to throw punches at Austin Angel. Few get through until Gust throws a hard body shot. Angel gasps for air. Sensing that the end is near, Gust winds up for another Beauty Shot, but this time the elbow Angel is able to duck underneath. As Gust turns to find his opponent, a handstand Pele kick from Angel greets him. He is dazed!

Angel not wanting to let this opportunity pass him by, follows up with several stiff punches. Gust is trying to shake the cobwebs out, but Angel is relentless with his striking. Gust is swinging wildly to fend off the attack, but Angel circles around. With his back towards the turnbuckle, he grabs hold of Gust and delivers an EXPLODER SUPLEX! Gust looks to be out of it!

Angel climbs to the ropes sees his opening and positions himself at the legs of Austin Angel. He grabs a hold of the leg and locks in the curse. William Gust is yelling as he is trying to fight off the pain from the submission hold. Gwen Jeffers, who moves herself into position, is monitoring the situation closely. Finally after some time, William Gust surrenders and taps out to the brutal lock. Gwen Jeffers calls for the bell, and after a few moments, Angel releases the hold.

Winner: Austin Angel

***On My Own***

William Gust, still feeling the effects of The Curse, slowly rises to his feet. As the fans cheer on Austin Angel, he makes his way back down the ramp. The same determined expression remains on display.

We get a sweeping shot of the lit Seattle skyline as we float across the city until we reach the outside of the KeyArena with tons of PWC fans making their way inside the arena to watch Vortex. We head inside with another sweeping shot, this time of the crowd with Stan Chambers voice welcoming us back.

Chambers: Welcome back fans, next we have a huge match, a PPV level contest for the Television Title.

Campbell: Oh, I can’t wait for this one, Stan. We’ve got the first ever PWC Television Champion looking to reclaim his title against the new Champion, the indomitable Jensen.

***Sabotage***

The KeyArena let out a huge roar as Bruce Thorn’s music hits. Thorn bursts through the curtain with Tommy Thorn trailing behind him, running onto stage and looking out around the arena and taking in the Seattle crowd. We get a shot of the entire arena from behind the Thorns, with Bruce saluting the crowd and then striding down the ramp with his eyes focused on the ring.

Chambers: Earlier tonight we had that very uncomfortable confrontation between Bruce Thorn Jr. and the former World Heavyweight Champion Nero.

Campbell: Well Nero is without a doubt one of the most feared men in PWC, but Thorn had no problem telling the former Champion that it was Thorn’s time now, that the era of Nero was over and that line for a World title shot started behind him.

Chambers: You have to believe that the disappointment of not getting the job done with the World Title match last week still stings for Thorn and he’ll want to use tonight as a springboard to put him right back where he thinks he belongs, and that’s the World Title picture.

Thorn slides into the ring and again takes in the crowd in before dropping to his knees and pointing to the heavens with Tommy Thorn clapping his charge on. Emma Mason takes the stage and introduces Thorn. Bruce unzips his jacket, throws it to his uncle and stands in the middle of the ring with his eyes fixed on the entrance ramp.

Mason: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the PWC Television Championship. Introducing first, the Challenger, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 238lbs, Bruce Thorn Jr!

Campbell: I think this match means a lot more to Thorn then just a springboard to the World Title picture again. Everyone knows how much that TV title means to Thorn and what he put his body through to keep it. He wants that title back, and tonight he’s going to do everything in his power to make that a reality.

***The Pines***

Mason: And his opponent, he is the PWC Television Champion, from Portland Oregon, weighing in at 217lbs, it’s Jensen!!

The Pines starts blaring across the KeyArena with another huge roar to greet the Television Champion. After some time Jensen appears from behind the curtains with his arms outstretched to embrace the crowd. Jensen takes a moment to look at Thorn staring daggers at him from in the ring. He then walks down the ramp to give high fives to fans, all the while with his eyes still on Thorn. Tommy Thorn sends a sneaky comment Jensen’s way but the Champion simply laughs off the older Thorn and continues on his way to the ring. Once he steps in he pauses for a few seconds then the lights dim to a blue/purple hue. His jacket then lights up revealing an assortment of colors with the crowd in Seattle letting out a huge roar at the sight of Jensen’s incredible entrance. Thorn stands his ground in the middle of the ring with Jensen standing right next to him with both men refusing to give an inch even before the match starts as they go eye to eye. The lights go back up with Jensen handing over his light up jacket to the referee.

Chambers: These two men actually started in PWC around the same time, in many ways their paths have mirrored each other with both holding the TV title. Now their paths collide in what should be an epic explosion.

Campbell: You can feel the electricity in the air, both men are crowd favourites and I expect the audience to be all in on this ride from start to finish.

Almost on cue the crowd erupt in dueling chants of “Let’s go Jensen” and “Let’s go Thorn”. Both men let out a slight smile at that, but that expression again quickly turns into complete focus as they prepare for this high stakes match.

Chambers: This the first of two Championship matches this evening, ladies and gentleman. Let’s get this show on the road. Your referee for this contest will be Roger Hains.

Match Three- TV Title Match| Bruce Thorn Jr. vs. Jensen (C)
***Ding, Ding, Ding***

Referee Roger Hains calls for the bell as both men immediately begin trading blows. Jensen fires off with hard forearm shots, with Thorn responding in kind. The crowd are immediately in on the action letting out a roar for every shot. Thorn and Jensen continue to trade, each blow with more fury then the last. The powerhouse Thorn seems to use his strength and bulk to take the advantage in the exchange putting more force behind his blows and pushing Jensen back. The Champion tries to fight back but takes two shots for every one he replies with and can only back-peddle in the face of a fiery attack from his opponent. Thorn grabs the back of Jensen head and goes on the rampage with a flurry of strikes, knocking his foe back into the ropes. He cocks back his fist and goes for the big hay-maker but Jensen shows his quickness by gracefully slipping the attack and using Thorn’s own momentum to push him into the ropes. Jensen goes for his own combination of strikes, firing off with forearm shot and a spinning back kick to the midsection and another kick that knocks Thorn’s head back. Thorn explodes out of the corner looking to land with a bomb of a Clothesline but again Jensen ducks underneath. With Thorn’s momentum taking him past him, the Champion sees his opportunity and takes it, leaning back and nailing a dropkick to the back of Thorn’s leg. The big man falls to one knee for a moment but quickly pulls himself back up only for Jensen to smash the same limb with another leg kick. Thorn pushes Jensen away trying to create some separation but the Champion comes right back with a stiff kick to the leg, looking to knot up the quad of the bigger man. Thorn stumbles back with Jensen following him in with the basement dropkick to the knee. Thorn drops to one knee with Jensen rebounding off the ropes and hitting another dropkick that knocks Thorn straight to the mat and rolling towards the ropes. Thorn tries to pull himself back up with Jensen relentless in his attack sprinting in and nailing another front dropkick, this time taking Thorn all the way to the outside. Jensen looks towards the sea of humanity in the KeyArena who let out a roar of appreciation for the high-octane start for the Champion. Thorn struggles to his feet on the outside with Tommy yelling encouragement to his charge, which soon becomes a warning. Jensen spies Thorn hurting on the outside and sees another chance to inflict more damage to his foe. The TV Champion rebounds off the ropes at the opposite side of the ring and goes full speed, throwing all his might behind the Diving Cross Body as he leaps over the top rope in a single bound and comes crashing down on Thorn on the outside. The crowd go wild with Tommy Thorn watching on in shock. Jensen springs back up and slaps the hands of some fans at ringside. The crowd start a massive “Jensen” chant with the Champion looking down at Thorn and then at the ring again. The chant in the crowd changes from Jensen to one more time, urging the Champion to go for the spectacular move again. Thorn is starting to stir once more, trying to catch his breath after Jensen’s attack. Jensen nods to the crowd and slides back into the ring before sprinting to the opposite ropes and running back for another Diving Cross body. Jensen leaps over the top rope once more and goes for the spectacular move again, flying onto Thorn on the outside, but No! Thorn catches Jensen on his way down, then rolls through before finding his feet and showing great strength as he holds Jensen up in his arms. The crowd gasp at Thorn’s show of strength with the challenger eyeing the barricade behind him before deadlifting Jensen into the position, hooking his arm around Jensen’s head and pulling him into the vertical suplex position. Thorn falls back and hits the Vertical Suplex, smashing Jensen’s body into the top of the barricade!

Thorn kips up with the crowd in shock at the sight of Jensen’s body smashing into the barricade. The Champion goes down in pain clutching his back. Tommy Thorn urges Bruce to get Jensen back into the ring right now to take advantage of the situation with Referee Roger Hains warning Thorn to do the same. Bruce Thorn heeds his uncle’s call, grabbing Jensen and rolling him under the bottom rope before following him in. Thorn rolls Jensen onto his back before hooking the leg and going for the cover. Hains slides in to make the count.

One…

Two…

Kickout! Jensen kicks out at two with the TV Champion gasping for air after the vicious attack. Thorn pops back up and immediately looks to continue his attack. He stomps down on Jensen before dropping the elbow and then rebounding off the ropes with a knee to the back. Thorn grabs his own knee in pain, still feeling the effects from Jensen’s earlier attack with Jensen grabbing his back in pain. Thorn shakes off his leg, looking to get the blood circulating again. He pulls Jensen to his feet with the Champion trying to fight back but Thorn again takes control with a hard knee into Jensen’s gut. The Challenger pulls Jensen between his legs, lifts him into the power bomb position but hooks both his arms around the man head, before hitting the PhoenixPlex and bridging into the cover! The crowd count along as Hains slides in for another count.

One…

Thorn’s leg seems to buckle for a moment and weakens the bridge.

Two…

Thr..Kickout! Again Jensen kicks out! Thorn shows his frustration slamming his fist into the canvas. He looks to his uncle who tries to calm his charge down. The Challenger tries to pull himself up using the ropes, showing great heart. Thorn lets out a smile before looking at the other side of the ring. The Challenger strides towards the corner, than urges Jensen to get up. The crowd see the familiar setup and find their feet, knowing Thorn is about to go for the finishing blow with the Spear. Jensen looks to shake off the effects of the PhoenixPlex and pulls himself back up using the ropes. Thorn is beside himself in the corner, urging Jensen to get up so he can go for the final blow. Thorn explodes out of the corner looking to hit the Spear. Jensen catches Thorn with a kick to the head coming in! Thorn stumbles back but roars in anger and lunges forward at his opponent once more, but Jensen ducks underneath and grabs Thorn’s arms and hits the Arm Trap Swinging Neckbreaker! Both men are down with Referee Hains beginning the count.

One, two, three, four…

Both men begin to stir…

Five, six, seven, eight…

Both men pull themselves up with the crowd right behind each wrestler with dueling chants. The Champion is the first to make his move as he goes for a hard forearm shot. Thorn stumbles back but comes roaring in with a forearm shot of his own. Again both competitors begin another exchange with the crowd hanging on every blow. Thorn tries to take control by going for the big right hand but again Jensen shows his incredible quickness, ducking underneath and hitting the ropes and as Thorn turns around, eats the Slingblade. With the adrenaline coursing through his veins Jensen calls for Thorn to get up with Tommy Thorn trying to rally his dazed nephew from the outside. Thorn tries to find his bearings but again meets another blow from Jensen, who comes hurtling in with the Running Front Dropkick sending the back of Thorn’s head smashing into the turnbuckles! Jensen hits the opposite corner once more and comes flying in with the Hesitation Dropkick to his downed opponent sitting prone in the corner. Jensen pulls Thorn to the middle of the ring and makes the cover.

One…

Two…

Thre…Kickout! Thorn barely gets his shoulder out at two and three quarters with most of the crowd and Jensen sure that it was the end. Jensen knows the time to end it is now. He gets back up to his feet and pulls Thorn's bulk up by his hair. Jensen pulls him into position with the crowd coming alive knowing what he’s about to go for, his finisher the Censored Colors. Jensen lifts Thorn up but the the Challenger shows his own athletic ability spinning around and landing on his feet. Jensen tries to attack once more but Thorn catches him coming in and scores with a go behind as he looks to push Jensen forward into the corner which is the setup to the Chaos Theory German Suplex. The Champion grabs the corner and blocks the move. Thorn tries to lean back but Jensen drops down and looks to take Thorn with him and go for the Ruby Magic, his version of the Calf Slicer to Thorn’s already injured leg. Thorn again rolls through then grabs Jensen and deadlifts the Champion up into the air in the electric chair position. Thorn’s leg almost buckles under the weight of his opponent but he forces himself to keep Jensen up, with the Champion sensing disaster is on the way. He tries to wriggle out but Thorn grabs his head and looks to hit the One-Winged Angel. His leg buckles underneath him once more with Jensen countering again and using his momentum as Thorn goes to slam him by turning his foe into the roll up pin. Referee Roger Hains tries to slide into another pinfall count, but Thorn kicks out before he can. Both men find a vertical base with Jensen throwing his own wild swinging right hand which Thorn ducks before locking in the setup for his finisher the Thorn in Your Side. He goes to lift but Jensen blocks and throws an elbow to side of Thorn’s head. The Champion breaks free and hits the ropes looking to nail a clothesline with Thorn having the same idea, both men collide and they’re both down again.

The crowd are on their feet clapping both men after a scintillating back and forth, move for move, counter for counter exchange. Referee Roger Hains goes to start another count but both men are already on their feet. Thorn and Jensen eye each other wearily before exploding at one another once more firing off with hard strikes until…………….

Chambers: It’s him. What the hell is he doing here.

Nero slides underneath the bottom rope and with Thorn and Jensen preoccupied and connects with a double clothesline to both men to a massive chorus of boos.

Campbell: I’ll tell you what he’s doing here, ruining this championship match.

Nero grabs the downed Jensen and throws the Television Champion out of the ring with Jensen landing right on his injured back. The God Complex eyes the downed Thorn with hard cold eyes. Slowly Nero circles Thorn like a predator about to attack his prey. Tommy Thorn sees his nephew in peril and tries to grab Bruce’s arm and pull him out of the ring, but Nero quickly puts a stop to that with a swift boot to the temple of Tommy Thorn through the bottom rope. Tommy goes down completely knocked out. Thorn sees his uncle hit and somehow finds life, roaring towards Nero and trying to take him down but the former World Champion simply plants his feet and kicks Thorn squarely in the leg that Jensen worked on during their match. Thorn goes down and Nero begins the assault, mounting his foe and laying a barrage of right hands to the head. Nero stands up and pulls Thorn violently to the middle of the ring, sets him into position and locks in the Amputation, wrenching back with all his might. Thorn screams out in pain with Roger Hains trying desperately to remove Thorn from Nero’s clutches. Nero smiles coldly as he watches Thorn writhe in pain.

Jensen sees Thorn being savagely attacked by Nero in the ring and nobly tries to pull himself together and help his opponent in the ring. As Jensen picks himself off the ground and begins to slides inside the ring, he feels someone grab his leg. Jensen turns around and eats the Beauty Shot Elbow from William Gust!

Chambers: Now William Gust attacks Jensen?

Campbell: The Hollywood Superstar obviously didn't take too kindly to the confrontation he had with Jensen earlier tonight.

Gust smiles down at the fallen Jensen before placing his boot on Jensen's face and posing for he crowd who let him know exactly how much they hate him.

Chambers: Ladies and Gentleman, it's utter chaos out here.

Campbell: And don't forget Nero trying to break Thorn's leg in the ring.

Nero watches Jensen get floored by Gust on the outside with glee while he continues to torture Thorn. Finally he releases the hold before springing to his feet and then pulling Thorn into position. He lifts him up and nails the Time of Death! Thorn's head bounces off the canvas with his body going limp.

William Gust points and laughs at the Thorn's misery while giving Jensen one last kick to the stomach before pompously striding away.

Chambers: You have to believe that this situation between William Gust and the Television Champion will come to a head soon.

The crowd boos are deafening as Nero in the ring simply pushes past Roger Hains and strides out without missing a beat.

Chambers: We all know what this was really about.

Campbell: This was about earlier tonight when Thorn, in Nero’s mind, had the audacity to challenge him. This was Nero asserting his dominance once more. He’s still the man around here and this was about proving that.

We see Thorn lying motionless in the ring with Tommy the same on the outside. Jensen gingerly pulls himself up as he sees the devastation in the around him with Roger Hains calling for the PWC medical personal.

***Jesus Glue***

The crowd is confused as Flexx Palumbo's music hits once again throughout the KeyArena. He struts down to the ring with his chest puffed out. In one arm he is carrying a case of his new pre-workout/ energy drink GNAR PUMP XXXTREME : OPTIMUS LIME FLAVOUR. He spots a few young fans and begins handing out his pre-workout drink to them.

Stan Chambers: At this point folks we would like to announce that the Gnar Pump supplement line are not a product of the PWC and are therefore not liable for any side effects you may encounter.

Charlie Campbell: What is Flexx doing out here? He can't be out here to continue his celebration of his so-called victory tonight?

Before entering the ring, he sees a very attractive blond in the crowd, Flexx sends her a cheeky wink and flex of those “gigantic” arms. He jumps up on the apron and then ascends the top rope and gives the crowd one last pose and flex from his chiseled physique. Once in the center of the ring, Flexx motions for Emma Mason to give him a microphone.

Flexx: I bet you are wondering what I am doing out here, especially after my domination of Cheri Hayven earlier.

The crowd boos.

Flexx: Well it is simple really, I am itching to have another go in the ring tonight. I just downed another liter of Gnar Pump and I am ready to go. I can feel the power pumping through my veins. It tastes like fruit punch, but it hits you like a Falcon Punch!

The Strong Island native proceeds to dart across the ring doing jumping jacks and press ups. He stands back up shakes out his arms and throws a couple of punches in the air.

Flexx: Since I am itching for another fight tonight, I am issuing an open challenge. I wouldn't be surprised though if nobody answers my call. Especially after what everyone has witnessed from me these last couple of weeks. I mean I am the guy who sent Cheri packing tonight. I'm the guy who single handedly beat those two jobbers who are fighting for the Legacy title. I'm the guy with this heavy artillery.

He lifts his arms up to show off his biceps. He stares down the ramp but there is no movement.

Flexx: Come on! Johnny Gold! Mike Hero! Sam Dancer! I know someone is back there itching for a fight.

Moments pass but still there is no movement. A look of disappointment comes across Flexx's face. The expression changes, however, as unknown music starts to blare loudly through the arena.

***Phenomenal**

A man with a hoody and jean shorts makes his way down the ring. It takes a moment but once the crowd realizes who he is, there begins to be a loud mixture of boos and cheers.

Stan Chambers
: Oh my! Is that who I think it is? What the hell is Shio Corin doing here in the PWC?

Charlie Cambell
: This is huge for the PWC. Shio Corin is a world champion from GCW! This man has done it all and has done it while being on top.

Shio then slides into the ring and stands across from PCW's Alpha male. Flexx doesn't look too impressed and waves away the challenger.

Flexx: Alright man, I don't have time for games. I got a sick pump going right now and I don't want to waste it on a janitor.

Shio Corin stands there unfazed as Flexx continues to run his mouth.

Flexx: You really think you can handle me? You're not even wearing a tank top bro, how am I supposed to take you seriously?

Shio motions for the microphone and Flexx hands it over. The cocky smirk on the New Yorker remains. Shio slowly brings the microphone to his mouth.

Bam!

Out of nowhere he hits Flexx over the head with the mic. Flexx is stunned and Shio follow it up with a Rappers Delight (X-Factor) to Flexx, right in the middle of the ring. Flexx is laid out as Shio stands in the center of the ring.

The crowd is rowdy as the new PWC superstar walks off leaving Flexx crumbled to the mat. The camera remains on Shio as it fades to black
.

**HIGHWAY TO HELL**

Through the middle of the other four cars Barney Williams drives out onto the stage and then down the ramp in a Lambo Aventador. He then slides into the ring, standing. He slides his jacket off, looking to the ground. When the second chorus kicks in he flicks his head up, smiling at the crowd and the lovely Emma Mason.

PWC Alpha & Omega II – MGM Grande Arena – Las Vegas

Narrator:
At Alpha & Omega another man’s long journey came to volition.

We see Shadow entering the Legacy Gauntlet match at Alpha & Omega and then battling the field for the vacant title.

Shadow cries out one last time and with his last bit of strength uses the ropes to pull himself through them and makes Crowley break his hold!

The fans cheer! But Crowley isn’t finished and grabs Shadow by his leg to pull him back in... the Darkness mule kicks Crowley off of him and with the momentum his body flips back into the ring and he perfectly lands on his feet! Crowley is shocked and Shadow sees the opportunity. CODE BLACK!!!!!

1!

2!

IT's OVER!!!

Shadow is on his back and the ref slides over and raises his hand! An absolutely exhausted and injured Shadow slowly sits up. Ms Page is in the ring and is holding the Legacy title. Shadow gets to his feet and the Referee Gil Artman raises Shadow’s arm again, as he looks to the heavens, no doubt looking for his mentor in the sky. The scene is very emotional, as Ms Page wraps the belt around Shadow’s waist and clips it in for him. Shadow slaps the gold and limps over to the corner and climbs the turnbuckle. The crowd give him a standing ovation as he punches his chest and then points to the heavens.

Narrator:
Two men who once dons the mask….

We she shots of Barney as Whisper and Shadow competing under a mask as well.

Narrator:
But broke out and showed the world who they truly were in more ways than one.

We see Barney giving up the Whisper mask and Shadow doing the same, before a shot of both men holding up their prizes, Barney with the Prometheus Bolt and Shadow with the Legacy Title.

We see a shot of Shadow on the last episode of Vortex celebrating his title victory when Barney Williams interrupts and cashes in his Prometheus Bolt.

Williams:
Congratulations! Congratulations Shadow on becoming the new PWC Legacy champ.

Shadow shakes Williams’ hand...

Williams:
I mean, a part from myself, I couldn’t have been happier that man like you, who fights with honour and respect won that title. I’m happy someone like Kyle Elric, who did what he did to Cheri Hayven, is not Champion. You are! But here’s the thing. It’s now time for me to light this torch up and challenge for the title!

The fans knew it and they explode! The crowd is fired up!!! They love it!

Shadow:
You wanna fight me for the Legacy belt?

Williams:
You got it!
Narrator:
And now two journeys find their end, who will emerge victorious.

We see Barney and Shadow trading blows after their tag team match loss at Vortex and then a shot of both men staring at the Legacy Title.

Narrator:
Who will be the Legacy Champion.
Chambers: That’s right folks, this is a huge match between two of the brightest stars in PWC. Two men who have fought their way through the ranks and won huge matches against all odds.

Campbell: Two men who both first made a name for themselves under a mask here in PWC, but found success when they showed the world who they truly were.

Chambers: Barney Williams and the Champion are both so similar in so many ways.

Campbell: Not in style though.

Chambers: That’s right, CC. What can we expect from each man’s respective styles in this match.

Campbell: Well, Barney is obviously the much bigger man and he’ll try to use that to his advantage but with Shadow you’ve also got the x-factor of his speed and high flying abilities. So there’s definitely going to be that clash of styles which is always my favourite of mine.

***Animal***

The light drum beat kicks in along with the piano, the lights cutting off in the KeyArena. One the chorus and lyrics begin, Barney walks out onto the stage, hood flicked up over his eyes.

The lights begins to pulse white and purple, flying across the fans as Barney sprints down the ramp to a huge ovation from the Seattle crowd as he high fives the fans along the way to ringside. He reaches the ring, stops at ringside for a few seconds as the second chorus to his theme song kicks in.

He flicks his head back on the word Animal, holding his arms straight out. He holds them there while the second chorus plays and the moment it finishes and the next rap begins, Barney breaks into a walk around the ring, patting the steps as he does. He takes his time lapping the ring, allowing the verse to end before he slides underneath the bottom rope into the ring. Barney looks up with all the coloured lights focusing on him as he crouches and flicks his hood up, smirking and then signalling a belt sign around his waist.

Chambers: As always Barney looks supremely confident.

Campbell: I agree, but this is the biggest match of his entire career, he may not be showing it but I’m sure the young man has butterflies the size of eagles floating around in his stomach.

Barney greets Emma Mason and Senior Official Gil Artman before leaning back on the ropes and awaiting his opponent.

***Dark Side***

The lights go out as the Champion’s theme song begins. The eerie intro echoes throughout the KeyArena and a very dim light illuminates the stage, ramp and ring area as smoke fills the stage. Suddenly the Darkside kicks in. It is so loud not a single person can hear themselves think. A huge bright white light flashes and the smoke is blown away as two bolts strike the stage. Shadow is knelt down on the stage facing the floor as the crowd greet the Champion with a huge ovation. A sole follow light shines upon him. He slowly raises his head and rises to his feet and begins to pace menacingly towards the ring looking right at Barney Williams waiting for him. He walks around the ring to the far right ring post and climbs up it from the outside and stares a hole through Barney Williams. He takes down his hood and unbuckles the golden Legacy Title belt from around his waist and then raise his right hand, before hoping into the ring. Shadow removes his jacket and drops it out of the ring. The lights come up and he crouches in the corner with Barney Williams in his sights.

Chambers: Shadow went through hell in the Legacy Gauntlet match and came out with the Legacy Title and now he faces another stiff test in Barney Williams.

Campbell: They say for some people winning a title is far easier then actually keeping hold of it. Does Shadow have what it takes to follow in the footsteps of some of our great Legacy Champions, in the likes of Muhammed Islami, Dr. Nero and Cheri Hayven. Tonight is his first chance to prove he belongs with all those great names.

Gil Artman calls both men to the centre of the ring with a real big fight feel filling the air with a murmur of anticipation around the arena. Artman takes the title from Shadow, who reluctantly hands the belt over. Emma Mason steps forward and begins the announcements with the arena lights dimming and both men starting face to face.

Mason: Ladies and Gentleman, the following contest is for the PWC Legacy Title and is your Main Event of the evening.

The Seattle crowd erupt as the introductions begin.

Mason: Introducing first, the Challenger. He is the first ever winner of the Prometheus Bolt. He comes to you from San Antonio, Texas, weighing in at 253lbs, Barney Williams!!!

The crowd show their appreciation for Barney who nods his head but his eyes remain locked on the Champion.

Mason: And his opponent, he is the winner of the Legacy Gauntlet match and the PWC Legacy Champion, from the Darkness, Shadow!!!

Chambers: Two men who have so much on the line tonight. When the night is done, who will walk out of Seattle’s KeyArena the Legacy Champion?

The crowd greet Shadow and Barney with equal love but the Champion and the Challenger keep their eyes locked on each other. The lights in the arena go up again as Artman calls for the bell.

Main Event-Legacy Title Match | Barney Williams vs Shadow(C)

Ding, Ding, Ding

Shadow and Barney both step back and begin to circle each other. Barney is the first to make a move going to pick the leg but Shadow skips away quickly before going for an attack himself with a slashing kick to the head. Barney rolls away and then goes for another leg pick, this time scoring. Shadow looks to break Barney’s grip, pummeling the bigger man with shots to the back but Barney shows his strength by lifting Shadow off up in the air and scoring with a takedown. With Shadow down, Barney looks to take the mount but the quick thinking Shadow pushes himself away avoiding disaster. Shadow is on the back foot, trying to create some distance between himself and the Challenger with Barney sensing the Champion’s unease and moving quickly to follow out and then driving him back with a European Uppercut out of nowhere. Shadow eats the Uppercut and falls against the ropes with Barney continuing his high pressure game plan by flying in and nailing the Champion with his gut punch combo, hitting him with rights and lefts. Barney shows his skills with a flurry of blows to Shadow’s midsection in the corner, burying shot after shot with the Champion having nowhere to go. He finishing off the flurry with another massive European Uppercut that knocks Shadow off the ground. Barney sprints backwards, hits the opposite corner and comes flying in with a massive corner Dropkick! Shadow’s head flies back as Barney’s boots connect square with his jaw. He staggers out of the corner with the his foe unwilling to give him a moment’s rest and following up with the Shin kick and then a Roundhouse kick to the gut that drops the Champion to one knee. The Texan, Barney pulls Shadow into position and hits the Side Suplex! Barney looks like he may be going for the cover but Shadow is too close to the ropes and grabs the bottom rope to break up the count. Williams pulls Shadow back to his feet and then drives him into the corner before burying his shoulder into the ribcage of the champion.

Shadow again tries to fight Barney off, clubbing the Challenger in the back but Williams seems like a man possessed as he looks to finally archive his dreams and win his first title in PWC. Barney again clobbers the Champion with a vicious European Uppercut. Shadow tries to fight back, firing back with a hard right hand of his own, but Barney goes for the big right hand which Shadow ducks and counters with a right hand of his own. Barney is rocked back for the first time in the match.

The quick Shadow looks to take his first opening of the match and goes for an Enzuigiri but Barney sees it coming and ducks underneath, leaving Shadow to hit nothing but fresh air. Shadow falls to the mat with Williams taking the chance to catch Shadow with the Oklahoma roll for the pin. Referee Artman quickly gets down and counts the pin.

One…

Shadow kicks out at one and springs to his feet only to eat the Sidekick to the midsection, another kick to the shoulder on his way down and then the big Dropkick to the face sending the highflyer flying backwards. With Shadow down Barney roars forward with the big running Leg Drop! It’s a split crowd with both men extremely popular with the PWC fans and it’s time for the Barney Williams fans to make all the noise as they cheer on their man as he dominates the Champion. Barney pulls Shadow towards the middle of the ring and then hits the ropes one more time before coming down on the throat of the Champion with his huge 253 pound frame. Barney hooks the leg with a deep cover with Artman making the count.

One…

Two…

Kickout! Shadow just manages to kick out at two. Barney immediately gets back to his feet before coming down with the point of his knee into Shadow’s throat as he looks to ground the highflyer and keep him down. Referee Artman starts a five count with Barney letting go at four and immediately locking in the Reverse Chin Lock. The pro Shadow half of the crowd see their man grounded and unable to pull off any of his high octane offense and start a chant to try and will Shadow forward. Barney shakes his head and drops down wrenching back on the pressure looking to cut the air supply off the Champion. Shadow hears the huge support he’s getting and tries to fight his way out of Barney’s death grip. He throws an elbow into Barney’s ribcage with the Challenger winching for a moment but continuing the pressure. Shadow seems to fade for a moment with Referee Gil Artman making sure Barney’s Chinlock hasn’t slips into a choke but finally Shadow seems to find a burst of energy and with his fans behind him begins to fight back. Shadow pulls himself up with the bigger man Barney on his back exerting as much pressure as he can. Shadow fights and fights and finally pulls himself and Barney back to a vertical base. He sends one hard shot to the gut, then another and another until finally Barney has to break the hold. Shadow begins his fight back firing back with right and left hands and then pivoting on the balls of his feet and nailing Barney with the Backhand Chop to the face. Barney staggers back with Shadow fighting back by running the ropes and knocking Barney down for the first time in the match with a double axehandle. Barney pops straight back up but meets a running forearm shot that knocks him down once more. Barney swings for the fences with another huge European Uppercut but Shadow counters by hooking one of Barney’s arms and going for the backslide pinfall attempt. Referee Artman counts the pin.

One…

Kickout! It’s Barney turn to kick out at one but as soon as he finds his feet eats a Pele Kick to the temple. Barney drops and is dazed from the kick to the head. Shadow follows up with an Enzuigiri! Shadow drives his elbow into the cheekbone of his foe and hooks the far leg for the cover.

One…

Two…

Thre…Kickout! Barney just kicks out after Shadow’s amazing combination. The crowd again get behind both men with dueling chants for Shadow and Barney. The Champion steps back and urges Shadow to his feet. He calls for the end and signals that it will soon all be over. Shadow waits on Barney who slowly pulls himself back to his feet. Shadow eyes light up as he sees his opportunity and goes for the killer blow, his finishing manoeuvre, the Code Black as he looks to drive his knees into the jaw of the Challenger and knock him out. Shadow jumps up and grabs the back of Barney’s head and looks to fall back into the Code Black but Barney blocks and using all his strength lifts Shadow into the air. Shadow’s eyes go wide as the resilient Williams picks him up and tosses him clean all the way across the ring. Shadow slowly gets back up and then meets a resurgent Barney who comes crashing in with the MeatHook Clothesline that sends Shadow spinning, head over heels, inside out and crashing to the canvas. The crowd are astonished by the sight of Shadow's head almost being taken off by Barney, who isn’t holding anything back. Barney is still feeling the effects of Shadow’s attack but drags himself into the cover.

One…

Two…

Thre…Kickout! Shadow kicks out again but with far less energy and authority then any other time in the match. Barney sits down on his knees gazing at Shadow and wondering what else he needs to do to win the Legacy Title. He pulls himself back up and looks to the crowd who let out a roar in appreciation of both men but in anticipation of Barney’s next move. Barney fires himself up, pumping his fist and gritting his teeth he pulls Shadow violently to his feet, wraps his hands around the highflyer’s waist and then sends him flying with the release German Suplex.

But Shadow lands on his feet! The crowd is in shock with Barney in disbelief as he turns around to see Shadow standing behind him. Barney goes hurtling after his foe looking to connect once more with another Meathook but Shadow ducks underneath and hits Barney with a shot to the gut before running the ropes and trying to hit the Infamouser on a prone Williams. But Barney sees Shadow coming in and catches the man on his way in. Shadow is stuck up on Barney shoulders with the Texan ready to drop the Champion. Shadow shakes his head and immediately counters with the Hurricanrana that sends Barney back down. Williams struggles to his feet and with his chance now or never, Shadow takes the risk by running towards and ascending the top rope before hitting the Whisp in the Wind! Barney goes down one more time with Shadow quickly ascending the ropes once more. The crowd are on their feet, some urging Barney to get up while others want Shadow to end it. The Champion quickly steps up to the top rope points down at the prone Barney Williams and comes crashing down with the Darkness Falls, his diving double foot stomp finisher. Shadow goes in for the cover.

One…

Two…

Three…No! Barney kicks out.

The crowd can’t believe it. Neither can Shadow. This is the first time anyone has ever kicked out of his finisher. Shadow can’t help but laugh, Barney is helpless even after the kickout. The Champion stands up looking down at his foe with both men making eye contact.

Barney Williams: Is that all you got.

Shadow shakes his head, his eyes with total focus, pulls Barney to his feet and hits the Code Black. Barney goes down again. This time Shadow makes the cover with authority.

One…

Two…

It’s Over!

Winner: Shadow

***Dark Side***

Mason: Here is your winner, and still the PWC Legacy Champion, Shadow!

Gil Artman hands Shadow the Legacy Title belt and raises his hand in victory. Shadow takes his belt back with pride but looks down at the fallen Barney Williams and gives his fierce opponent a nod of respect with the crowd clapping both men. Barney slides underneath the bottom rope and slowly walks off, looking back at the Shadow and the Legacy Title with sadness filling his eyes. Shadow raises his title in the air one more time with the crowd letting out a huge roar for the Legacy Champion.

So couple of quick q's.

1. Do you have a show feedback form or anything?

2. What happens now?

Thanks in advance.

1. We don't have any specific form or template we use for feedback, but feedback is welcome and highly appreciated. Anything from what your general thoughts of the show were, what you liked or disliked, to an in-depth review of the entire show. Whatever you want really, any feedback is great.

2. We've already started planning the next card and show so you should see something posted in a the next few days. Ideally we'd like to get as much feedback as we can before we get the next show up because knowing what everyone thought of the show helps us with planning and storylines and such.

When the new card does go up, it'll be in a new thread and you'll be tagged if you're on the card (Y).

Great show guys, started to see an ongoing pattern of Shadow being battered for 3/4 of the match then being revived and winning. Am I John Cena in disguise?
Loving the Gust Jensen fued - really unsure why.
Also - Updated Shadow's theme on my original app since not doing so meant my old these was re used here dammit :V

So my thoughts on this show. Keep in mind I am new to the show, so my feedback/opinion could be way off. Apologies for that if it does happen.

Opening Segment
Good opening segment. Obviously from what I gather this Crowley dude has just won the top title, and he is one seriously fucked up and dark fellow. This all came across in the segment which is a standard way to open the show. Well written, good read. Leaves it open for something to develop later in the show.

Crowley Now in the Arena/Crown/Hammerpunch
I don't know if this is a common way he enters but i loved it. Extremely dark what with the musical touch. The actual content was also good. Very unique idea of him having melted down the championship belt and made it into a crown for himself. Be interesting to see what happens further down the line if/when he loses the title in that regards.

My only gripe here would be that we could of maybe had a match or something separating the opening vignette to the reveal of what he had been doing.

Hammerpunch interrupts like the faces generally do. Booking 101 here but well done. Them coming to blows was expected. I'm not to familiar with all the characters but I enjoyed the actual content of what was being said and the back and forth etc.

Here comes the GM making a street fight. Interested to see this one

Match One

Good opening bout from what I gather is two returnees. Shame one of them has to lose on a return but such is wrestling at times. Some manager interaction as well which is always a win with me. Solid bout looking forward to seeing more of these two.

Backstage With TV Champ - Jensen & Gust

Really enjoyed this here. A great back and forth between them. The fighting moccasins line was gold. Again I'm not sure if thats a regular thing, or if it was even suppose to be funny, but I loved it. My favourite part of the show so far. Just a fun exchange, although it had serious connotations with the ending line by Gust.

Cherri/Page & Flex

I'm guessing this was done like this because of a no show? Forgive me if I'm wrong. Was a decently creative way to explain that away, if so. Flexx celebrating like he had won a big title was also good booking. I always enjoy anything where people gloat like they've earned something.

Cherri trying to get at them after was executed well. Not actually giving the comeuppance leaves the viewer begging for the day they get to see it.

Remy Dieu vignette

Hype & Intrigue always a win.

Nero/Thorn Jr

Nero seems like a very interesting character. I will have to delve back further to see the history between himself and Hammerpunch. He's out to let everyone know he's back in the hunt for gold and nobody will stop in his way... Or will they?

Uncle Tommy lays into Nero big time, good stuff. Then Thorn takes over. I fancy if you have a manager nine times out of ten they should be the main mouth piece or not at all, ala Heenan, Heyman etc you know. Now Thorn still came across as intimidating and the next big thing in this though so I suppose my fears are unwarranted really.

Match Two(Or three if you count the Cherri/Flex thing
Another strong match, I enjoy the two matches I've saw here so far. Good spots, matches are a decent length and so far seem to have strong finishes.

One small thing, and we all do it. The following bit of writing is copy and pasted from the match

"Angel digs deep and manages is to kick out". Small mistakes like that can really detract from the writing, you know.

TV Title Match
I enjoyed this match more than the previous two, and I did enjoy the previous two quite a bit. This had more variation. The double clothesline spot was good. The almost 10 count another highlight.

If this fed is based solely on rps then I can only imagine that the judges found the two competitors rps almost impossible to separate and thus not actually getting a decision. Nero's run in was perfect after the exchange before and it really painted him as a vicious not to be crossed with fellow. A lot followed, what with Jensen trying to be noble (love a face who tries to help an opponent) but he is also bested from Gust. Over all a real strong spot on the card for the heels here.

Flex promo & interruption

Gotta say I love this Flexx character, seems a riot so far. Everything he's been involved in I've enjoyed. He comes across as the douchey type you would love to hate which makes the next bit all the better. This Shio comes out and basically assaults Flexx with a microphone without saying a word. Good shit, very intimidating.

Main Event
Before we get to the action we get a pretty sweet recap of how we are where we are. Great for newcomers like me but also old timers just to jog their memory. Good idea and well done. Builds up to the action perfectly.

When we get to the action we have a great encounter with both looking like they could win. Some very well done near falls for both competitors. Matches in this type of environment should always make both look strong and I think that was done well here. Good main-event, thoroughly enjoyed.

General Opinion
Good first show for me. Ran well, some interesting things going on which make me excited to see where my character will fit in. I'm going to post some likes and gripes below and I don't mean them to offend anyone I really hope they don't. After all feedback is made up of praise and critique.

GRIPES

1. Commentary - While Commentary is a huge part of wrestling today. In an e-fed I genuinely lean toward the not so much section. Now while the commentary was well done, I personally think having as much as you guys do can detract from what is going on or disrupt a well flowing match. You could probably lose about 50% of the commentary and that would allow for a more compact, hard hitting show.

2. Segments - Not all segments need to be a one v one trade off on the microphone. I think the opening segment was the best of the lot because it was something different. When characters just trade back and forth in speech all the time its a tried and tested method sure, but you can really get creative with feuds and have things go other ways. Segments can be shena....ns, attacks, mind games etc the field is limitless you know.

LIKES
1. Segments - Now this is going to make me sound doolally and a hypocrit :D But despite what I said above, the segments although all following the same style of format. The content inside them was overall quite high. Some great lines, some funny lines, some hair raising lines and so on and so on. So these segments themselves are great in what the content is. The back and forth in speech was really well done, if just not over done.

2. Characters - Some very interesting characters on the shows portrayed excellently from creative. Really wet my appetite to get stuck in.

Again probably a lot I am missing due to the newness of myself. My feedback is in no way meant to get anyone's back up. Just suggestions and thoughts on the first proper show I've read/been on the roster. Apologies if it does in anyway offend.
