Congrats to The Fourth Wall, I'm glad my debate made it in.

Congrats Clique. How was my debate shorter? I thought it was 1000 words on the button?

Anyhow, I can't lie...

Was hoping for a 1-1-1 DRAW.

CONTROVERSY CREATES CASH! SWERVE!

No, but congrats to Clique.

Re: TDL VII: STREAKS ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN - THE RESULTS

Three victories in a row and I finally got a unanimous victory. :

Good debate JM. I'm glad we chose different sides. I took a lot of time on my debate and I'm glad the judges liked my work. A tennis topic should be interesting. I only know a few players and I can't remember the last time I watch a full match, but research is half the fun.

Bears - Bulls - Braves - Blackhawks - Bulldogs - America

Re: TDL VII: STREAKS ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN - THE RESULTS

Congrats to all the winners, and losers, on this card (seriously, I really found the collective level to be higher than normal all around - awesome to see that).

To WOOLCOCK and Seabs in particular - congratulations on a job truly well done gentlemen. I thought we were strong, so going down to those two debates is nothing I'm ashamed of. WOOLCOCK, I always expect great stuff from you (I like to think that I help bring the best out of you). Seabs, I thought you were a very, very good debater heading into this. That was a goddamn masterpiece though and made me re-evaluate your skills in an entirely new way - top notch shit.

If I do have any shame, however, it's that I let TLK down. I didn't want him to lose that aura of invincibility, so I'm sorry your first loss had to come this way (and unanimously, at that!). I think it's my fault, and I'll explain in the following statement to the judges:

My logic, as soon as the tag match was announced, was to purposely do opposing debates and HOPE that WOOLCOCK and Seabs chose the same side. I felt that whenever 2 debates are submitted arguing the same side, one is a winner and one is comparatively weaker. I also felt that having two very strong debates arguing AGAINST each other (thereby hopefully making them tougher to compare) would make them each appear stronger in the judges' eyes. Alas, my strategy caused confusion or general disenchantment amongst the judges. Great write-ups though.

Also, hey Crusade. Sorry about the mean things I said about you at the show. I wasn't feeling like myself that night. Good luck, looking forward to it!

Just read your debate and I really like the approach you took. Really enjoyed reading your debate especially because it contradicted mine and took an entirely different approach.

That was as close as I expected it to be tbh but am glad I managed to pull out the win . No bragging on my part, you're a tough opponent.

Thanks for the feedback on my debate, the compliments from both Seabs and Woolcock and the critique by Evo (something to take into consideration).

Zombo was exactly who I was hoping to face if I won so I'm glad it's already been booked for the next card. I can't wait .

Thanks for making me a jobber Seabs. Sorry that the sport division title scenario isn't what you hoped for

I'm just messin with you btw. Although personally I still think Rush is the best debater in the division without Andre but the you vs Aid deserves to be for the title. There's no shame in losing debates to me, Rush and Kiz. Now I'm gonna beat Rush and make a total mockery of the division
