Got a very rough draft done on my topic, just need to go through it. My trouble is I need to cut some words out, but not compromise the quality. Ah who am I kidding, what I've got is a pile of horse manure. Not debated for a few years, so might be rusty.
The first paragraph of my debate was a nightmare to write out. Too many inner conflicts, not finding the right words. But I think once I got into that second paragraph, found a grove. Not a very long debate but I think I tapped into a decent message. Guess I'll find out in a week or so.
You know who I am, but you don't know why I'm here.

Went 10-15 words over the 1000 word limit, hope that's okay.
I think you better send in a revision. Everyone knows cutting words can be a pain in the ass but we all follow the guidelines. Cutting 10-15 words is not impossible to succinctly make your point in a re-write.
