Re: TDL V: HIGH STAKES - THE RESULTS

Got my one all wrong really, never decided what to argue for, then answered it like a school homework by putting both sides of the story in.

Played Lawls, can't get one over ya

Another split decision loss means it could have gone either way.

CONGRATULATIONS CLIQUE!

Re: TDL V: HIGH STAKES - THE RESULTS

I personally thought the celeb debate was going to be unanimous that's how good I felt about it, but I guess Brye believed you made the stronger argument as he pointed out. Congrats to you as well, KLEE. We just may have another match on a future card.

THIS CHRISTMAS
ALL I'M REALLY ASKING FOR IS YOU

Appreciate the words, STEVIE. Congrats on the victory!!

If nothing else, defeating me assures a championship belt in the near future. Lost to Evo in the Wrestling Division semi-finals? Wins belt on next show. Lost to WOOLCOK in the #1 contender's match. Wins belt on the next show. Speaking of which, congrats WOOLCOCK! Helluva debate you put together there. I fully expected it to be a treat to read you and Evolution in the title match, and it sure as hell was. Awesome job, both of you.

TLK, I know you're in a #1 contender's match... but you should really find a way to win the belt on the upcoming show just to keep The Streak alive.

I thought something was askew there. Still, an awesome show you put together. I appreciate the tears running down my face due to Evo's loss and not my own. Entertaining as always, thanks for the effort that went in to turning this around so fast, to you and all the administrators.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and I'm happy to at least get a split decision. I knew I had one hell of an opponent, and you earned the win. I really liked how you approached the "success" definition, as it definitely set you up for a stronger debate. This was pointed out by the judges as well, so it's yet another thing I can improve upon. If I lose, I like to at least get something from the experience. Losing to guys like you, WOOLCOCK and Evo has allowed me to pick up on these little areas where I can get better, so I take from it what I can. Still, congrats on the win Greg!

I'm in.

I wish I was in on this joke, but I'll give you a good-hearted laugh even when I don't know what the hell is going on.

Nicely done everyone.

To be honest I was quite worried mine was more informative than persuasive but I'm glad it was well received. Great debate Brye, it was a close one and I enjoyed reading yours. Love the GIFs. <3

Re: TDL V: HIGH STAKES - THE RESULTS

I'm about two weeks too late to this, but I love the 'wrestling's Mount Rushmore' question. Not really a "debate" as such, like Evo pointed out, but a cool topic nonetheless. That's the kind of shit I'd have jumped on a few years back.

Y'all are doing a great job with this, btw. And that's the first bit of praise I've heaped on anything here in like four years. So you know I mean it.
