Wow! What a read those debates were. It seems the talent in this crop of competitors is high.

Congrats to wrestling_junkie and thankyou to the judges for the feedback.

In my defense I probably could have mustered up a better debate for the DERRICK ROSE SAGA.

I still think Magic should have entered and done the Rose debate. He's done enough writing about the various ways Derrick Rose is a bitch for like 5 debates.

Just reread Seabs' skits. Priceless.

@ TKOK - Magic is being a PUSSY. For as much arguing as he does with everyone I should think he'd be pretty good at this.

Also I would have argued that it was justified because arguing otherwise would have likely made my debate awful.

also arguing isn't the same as this seeing as you can't do a rebuttal in this. The sports debate were a fun ready though, I could also argue any of the points perfect poster brought up.

That's the beauty of it. There will always be a counterargument. The idea is to try to carefully shoot down the possible counterarguments in your submission. Once signups reopen you should seriously consider joining.

Whoa, that was close. Beating Evo in his own game was never going to be easy, happy that I could atleast put up a debate which gave his one a real fight.

The debate strayed closer to demonstrating Orton's worth to WWE through his connection to the crowd, ability in the ring to wrestle the style WWE craves for in a Main Event Superstar and how he represented a potential becon of creativity, able to be used in a way that would be overwhelmingly beneficial to the company and mitigate his behavioural discrepancies. The structure and flow was a pleasure to read and couldn't have been improved imo, but there was just something more comprehensive and nuanced in Evolution’s debate that pushed it above CRIMSON as the overall winner for me. A very commendable and impressive effort so early into The Debate League however and one the writer should be proud of.

I get the sense that just experience through reading and typing more debates will probably turn your debates from strong to great.

Although I was disappointed after losing, the feedback from you guys definitely made up for it. At the end of the day, that's what I wanted - to get noticed for my efforts. By the looks of those comments, its quite clear that I won the #2 place. Thanks for the feedback guys. And uh, congratulations Evo, that was a nice read indeed.

And no Seabs, I used wordcounttool.com and it says I've used 798 words

An awesome experience overall, kudos to all you organizers.
