First off, to Seabs and all the judges / organizers: that was one HELL OF A SHOW you put together. I read everything, start to finish, for about two hours I'm pretty sure. The effort into the actual "show" was awesome. Crazy props for that. But even on top of that entertainment, the comments on each debate were astounding. Seriously, the effort to read as much as you did, and then provide the amount of detailed critique on top of that - hats off to you all.
To the other debaters.. My goodness, everyone brought it. I can see now why the judges commented on how tough some of the calls were, as I found myself persuaded one way and then the next within nearly each debate. There's a vast array of talented, persuasive writing on display here. I feel fortunate to get through. I knew that Chain Gang Soldier was going to be a threat, perhaps the favourite in my debate, and as soon as I began to read his - seeing so much similarities to mine - I really got nervous, fearing that we'd force a coinflip vote or something. Lane, a strong first showing for you as well. I really didn't see anyone arguing the point you did. Flux, you trash-talked before the debate with your David Caruso gifs and I replied with a hug. Allow that hug to console you.
A quick sidenote - goddammit BULLY, I'll never have to ask you "DO YOU EVEN WRITE BRO??" because that was one impressive display.
And finally, looking forward to my next opponent, Evolution. I re-read your debate again. It was a helluva good job, and I fully expect that if I don't improve upon this performance, then I'll be handily defeated. I'm looking forward to it. I'm next? Don't just sing it, bring it.
As for Headliner calling for the Wrestling title belt to be placed within the Admin headquarters due to Evo's opening display:
All in good fun, of course. I'm looking forward to the next show. And once again, a sincere thanks to the judges and organizers who took their own time to put all of this together, as well as a great job to my fellow debaters. This was an awesome experience.
