You can't just announce it here and be done with it. You have to make this a big deal.

MICHAEL FUCKIN DD

Congrats on the title wins Seabs & Anark.

Appreciate the kind words, Seabs, but unfortunately the other judges didn't see it that way. Not sure I could've done much better aside from a few points here and there, but with a word limit it's hard to touch on everything you want to say. That said, congrats to Andre. Hell of a match, and maybe our paths will cross again.

As for now, though, it might be time for TLK to disappear for a bit. I gave that one my all and still came up short, so it might be time to rethink some things.

Re: TDL XVII: ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY SHOW - THE RESULTS

Btw fuck 800 word limits. Like altogether. I know it makes the judging tougher but I really don't think there would be a limit under 1000 words because it's damn near impossible to cover all the things that the judges want you to improve on.

Peter's debate was clearly better, but like Rush said even with all the stuff he was able to say he still wasn't really able to go into his own analysis simply because of the constraints of the word limits. I would not have gone that far into stats even with 200 more words, because i refuse to make a research essay(no offense peter ) but yeah. the extra 200 words allows you to go deeper into your arguments and just gives you more room to add things that you otherwise cant in 800 words.

I'd rather go out through the back door (not Alex Humph style) than make a big frenzy. I'll be back...SOON. Hopefully TLK is too.

So, do I agree or disagree that Ambrose is a better face than a heel? No.

I am a retard.

I think I paused for a few mins at this point and thought I copied and pasted the original question itself.

So Mac and Andre split while TLK beats Mac and Andre beats TLK.

Mac defeats Clique who defeats Me who defeats Mac.

Re: TDL XVII: ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY SHOW - THE RESULTS

No surprises or complaints whatsoever about the decision, if anything I thought the judges went easy on me cos tbh I thought I completely FUCKED UP this debate.

Realized pretty quick that the topic needed more research than I was willing to do (which wasn’t much to begin with) and really couldn’t be arsed doing a school report type debate. I mean I know my stance and I know the basic arguments that come up with the topic, just never gave much of a thought to it (too busy listening to Prince), the fuck do I care if someone considers it to meet some definition of natural. As a result I went in with a defeatist attitude and half assed the whole thing, my debate was never authoritative, as a great debate needs to be. FWIW if I did it again I’d approach it totally different.

Gratz to Anark though, the true social champ

(until I steal it again).

and i did have sources that I forgot to put in I suppose. The spacing was also garbage. This is what happens when you said in your debate at 4 am. My bad guys.

@aid;

I wasn't including Watt on the line; just stating he's a great defensive player. It's confusing because I wrote that sentence without him first and then edited in his name which made it not flow as well I guess.

Also, I was saying he would have lots of free room when given playing time as a packages guy. That sort of stuff kind of has to be inferred, imo, as I can't waste 50 words explaining how he'll sub into plays and such. Oh well. That line really wasn't as clear as I would have liked tbf, so I'll work on that next time.
Alright. I understand where you are coming from now. Yeah, that probably would have helped me understand your arguments just a little bit more. It probably would have flipped my vote because Peter was just a little bit light on his Clowney choice. Sorry if I came across as a little too harsh though.

As for my debate, I definitely didn't have strong opinions of it after I turned it in. I feel I was just missing some points towards Griffin but it didn't make the final cut. I also cut Curry from my final five 3rd place guys. I thought PP would choose Paul or Love. That said, 5th win in a row!

Nah, you weren't too harsh. That was honestly a poor effort and I should have done better.

Peter pls stay in TDL.

Skits were by ZOMBO so big thanks for them. Would have been more if anyone else did any. Also massive thanks to Aid180 for helping out with a bunch of extra judging. Andre too on that count.
