I'd like to thank the judges for their feedback, this was my first debate and their comments are really helpful, in pointing out the mistakes I made. I guess my mindset was to sell the match to the judges, and in doing so I neglected to back it up with a core argument as to why this match was the best choice, instead of any other prospective choices. Again, many thanks for their time and patience in judging my debate.

That's a great attitude to take, and I commend you for attempting this league (and accepting the criticisms contained herein). I didn't mind your debate, but yeah, a little less recapping will go a long way. Assume the judge's are knowledgeable with the product (we are on a WRESTLING FORUM, after all), so you can just give a couple sentences that touch on the important storyline things that you need to, but save the rest of the word count for ARGUMENTS and SLAYING any counter-arguments.

I think you have a good base, particularly from your opening and closing. With the attitude of taking the judges' comments and looking to improve accordingly, you're going to be just fine in the long run.

Good attitude, bud. You'll do fine if you keep that up.

Lane's debate was a masterclass in how to "fuck yourself". Based on that, I think I'll pass. I'm not reading through that horror show again in order to pick up tips

Your writing was actually decent, you just needed to form some ACTUAL arguments in order to define exactly WHY that match had to happen at the rumble and couldn't happen at any other event. Also cut out the overly descriptive stuff that reads like a biography.

I don't care if you liked it or not. At least give tips instead of being a complete cunt.

Okay, here's a tip: Quit the league, because you're fucking shit at debating. That's the best tip that anyone could give you right now.

Barring that, you could ACTUALLY make an effort to submit something that's substantial (which was mentioned, OBVIOUSLY NOT A TIP THOUGH) and doesn't just come across as a mediocre run of the mill post from the wrestling sections. Use evidence to support your claims (I already told you that actually, LOL at "At least give tips") and avoid arguments that came across as obvious bias, especially when you contradict yourself by praising one wrestler and not the other when you've brought up similar examples of both succeeding in a similar scenario (again, that was included in the feedback).
