Yeah, I'd much rather that judges are able to take their time, digest the debates in a comfortable time-frame and give some quality feedback. I've learned so many little things (and some glaringly obvious things that I should've already knew) from feedback going back to my first debate. Although it's tough after submitting something to wait for a week or two, I'd rather the results be as "accurate" as possible with as much feedback as possible. I mean, the judges are doing this shit voluntarily, so I'm sure as hell not going to impose strict time limits on them.
Agreed. Again, it's no criticism, just saying that if the reason we'd consider a 7-day deadline instead is that things are feeling drawn-out, that would be another possible solution. But, I'm all for judging taking how ever long it needs to so that we get the best possible feedback. Hands down.
