Was Scott Hall The Greatest Speaker on the Mic?

This guy was so great in the wwf with the razor ramone gimmick. Then when he went to WCW, this guy to me was just so good on the mic. He had the whole toothpick thing and the hey yo thing. He did that survery everytime. He just had the look. He referred to kevin nash as his big buddy and the big man. And he referred to himself as the medium size mang:lmao

He would have these lines like he's 6'6 and more handsome then 10 movie stars. He would make jokes at Larry Zybsko such as when he saw larry, he would say wow, thought you be bigger:lol

Some other funny things he would say is when Ted Diabese was with the steiner brothers, he called him pumpkin head and said the only reason steiners have you is because they needed someone to read the menu for them. There was one time he made this joke at ric flair i couldn't remember but he pretty much owned flair with it.

I know the Rock was great on the mic back in the attitude era. The it doesn't matter what your name is and the jokes he would make at everyone else. However, it seemed like no one could touch scott hall. I mean this guy the way he spoke, it was just natural to him. Many times you would see how when he spoke, there were things he said where it didn't even sound rehearsed at all.

Was there a guy better than Scott Hall on the mic?

fuck no. not even close... his only believable promos were on WCW where he had the drinking problem. and that was only cuz it was true to life so you as a viewer wondered if he was acting or actually smashed in the ring.

No. But he had a shitload of charisma to make up for it.

I like him but I don't think so. He kinda just said the same thing every time and he took forever to say it.

You know you could have given Scott his just due and attention without throwing "the greatest" in there. That term is overused for everything people find good I swear. Anyway, whether he was Razor Ramon or Scott Hall he was entertaining in promos. I like his little shtick he did polling the audiences every week. Hall took being a "cool heel" to the next level in WCW.

lol no.. he oozed charisma and had a cool personality, but I can't recall a Scott Hall promo that you could call great or could give you goosebumps

Not even in the top ten, possibly top 50 & that's at a push.

I wouldnt go that far. For me there are quite a few names ahead of him but he was great on the mic. Really hoping his recovery continues to go well so we see him in the HOF one day.

Big statement time but for me if Hall hadnt had his demons he could have been the single greatest total package of all time
