After losing the retirement match in 1994, Flair wanted to return as a face and team with Hogan.

Hogan fucked that up big time...

That whole Hogan-Flair feud was fucked.

Here is how it should of went down.

Flair challenges Hogan from day 1. Jack Tunny won't give Flair a title shot and Flair won't wrestle Hogan unless the belts are on the line. Flair has to become #1 contender. He achieves this, wins the Rumble and now we have a Title Unification Match at WM8. Hogan wins. Rematch on SNME - Hogan wins, Rematch at KoTR in a Cage with Sid as Special Guest Ref - Sid Turns on Hogan and Flair wins both belts. Summerslam Hogan vs. Sid - Hogan wins and gets taken out by Flair & Co. WM9 Hogan vs. Flair in a Loser leaves town match - Hogan wins.

WCW - Hogan says Flair keeps bothering him. Blames the Black Eye at WM9 on Flair. Hogan vs. Flair for the title. Hogan wins. Now for the next year you have rematches with the two switching the belts back and fourth. With Flair gaining in victories and title wins. Both Wrestlers put their careers on the line with Hogan beating Flair and retiring him.

Hogan then enters his next feud and is getting beat and realizes that he needs the dirtiest player in the game. They team up and win the tag titles.

Sid was fired.

The rest of the idea sucks, too.

Not a chance. From Survivor Series, everything was moving towards Rock representing Vince vs Austin. And the Brawl For All was always scheduled to finish at Wrestlemania, so there's no way this one works.

I definitely agree with you there. I have heard though that they paid "Dr. Death" off ahead of the tournament because they assumed he would win. Unfortunately, the tournament was a shoot and they didn't get the outcome they expected. I always thought the plan was "Dr. Death" vs Austin at SummerSlam.

I'm guessing those names would have been Warrior, Santana, Crush, Bret Hart, Savage and Undertaker.
When he was El Matador? Close fucking shave.

I have never heard of Dr. Death facing Austin at the main event for WMXV. I call BS.

From everything I heard, from multiple people. Is that the main event was scheduled for a long time to be a triple threat between Mankind, The Rock, and Stone Cold. But Shawn Michaels suggested it to be only the Rock vs Stone Cold.

Not really a rumor, more of the stupidest thing I've ever heard (since I'm more inclined to believe Cornette based on his honesty):

Sid says the reason he beat HBK for the belt at Survivor Series and replaced Vader was because when they were in MSG prior, Sid was so over with the fans that Vince decided he should get the title match instead of Vader.

I don't believe that for a second and it really doesn't make sense. Just thought I'd post it.

EDIT: And even worse. In a shoot prior to that, he said Vince gave him the belt and would let him keep it as long as he drew. So, Vince told him he wanted him to drop it to HBK at RR because it was his hometown and they were doing a Thursday Night Raw and Sid would get the belt back.

Goes COMPLETELY against the well known plan of Vader getting the belt to drop it back at RR and the obvious seed planting of the HBK/Bret rematch that never happened. Bullshit radar was broken after watching Sid tell the story.

Several promoters had approached Brody with the idea of doing a run-in and beating up Mr. T, but supposedly Brody wanted more $$$.

In 1991, at the Great American Bash, the plan was to have Flair drop the WCW world title belt to Lex Luger, finally. However, Flair said he wouldn't do it without a new contract, figuring a big contract would keep him at the top. Jim Herd, then WCW Exec VP, gave him a ridiculous lowball offer. Flair supposedly agreed to drop the belt to Barry Windham at the Center Stage studios before the Bash, but Herd just outright fired Flair instead.
