Hogan thought they worked all the experts and critcs including Meltzer with Savages injured shoulder. As far as I remember Meltzer reported the injury was legit and Hogan thought they got one over him proving the dirtsheets to know nothing about the business.
That was just part of the reason though. Hogan wasn't exactly loved by critics ever since he had been on top. He just used this and some other stuff to get back at the dirtsheets.
