Eh, not really. Wrestlemania 21 had Shawn spending a third of the match working on Angle with a headlock without losing the crowd's interest. I daresay Bret even has an advantage over today's workers in that he's one of a few workers that can make restholds not only exciting but also purposeful (ie going for covers, fighting out of it, etc)

With both in good physical condition, it would have been an unbelievable match. Their career's pretty much crossed over, exactly as Bret's ended, Kurt's began.
