Default How many matches did Goldberg lose in WCW?

Hi friends,

During 1997-1998,I was a huge fan of Bill Goldberg(as was my dad).We use to wake up late nights only to watch Goldberg as WCW was telecasted only after 12:00 A.M. on TNT.But unfortunately because of this,I couldn't follow his career thoroughly

Now,everytime I watched him,I saw him defeat literally everyone including Sting,Hogan,Meng and others.

So my question to all of you is,can you make a list of all the matches Bill Goldberg lost during his WCW tenure, alongwith mentioning the date and the event in which he lost?

Thanks in advance!

2.Holds the record of main-eventing almost 17 PPVs that have got over 500k buys(again,a feat of inimitable drawing power that is unmatched by anyone in pro-wrestling history)

3.Drew the highest cable ratings during the AE.

4.Sold more merchandise than anyone active between mid 1999-2001.

Mini rant coming - friggin Bret Hart. Par for the course. Destroys Goldberg head to head without giving a win back. Even Kevin Nash gave the win back, but not high and mighty Bret Hart. Just like when he faced HHH, Austin, and Rock, Bret Hart refuses to lose.

You shouldn't just read results and jump to conclusions. Bret held, like, zero political sway there. If he did, he wouldn't have been wrestling 17 minute matches with Disco Inferno while severely injured.

From everything I can tell, Kevin Nash essentially ran the show there, and it was a gigantic clusterfuck.

A lot of backstage bs is easily ignorable in general, but when you read about the way WCW was run, it really was mind-numbing. It was a mix of ineptitude combined with the worst kind of politicking agenda you've ever seen.

Bret sustained severe concussions in that second match with Goldberg, so much so that they would go on to be career-ending. As far as I can tell, he only wrestled two matches after that, and they were directly after that. He ended up retiring without wrestling any other matches.

Not to mention, the way he beat Goldberg was anything but clean anyway, complete with people attacking Goldberg with baseball bats, so it certainly did nothing to elevate Bret in any way.

The whole thing was poorly booked. WCW in general, was horrendously booked. I still can't understand why people liked it. It was really awful to me.

This is not one you can pin on Hart.

He was the Ultimate Warrior of WCW, the best winning percentage in that company's history.

Rock beat Bret by DQ RAW 24.3.97 IC title match, Austin beat Bret IHY April 97 & HHH beat Bret count-out RAW 5.10.97 so Bret wasn't high & mighty?

I guess that loss to Nash and Stiener at New Blood is when Goldberg walked out on the match.
