I would say that at their peak, around 1998, Goldberg was the main guy they were pushing!

Hogan if we're just looking at 1996 onwards.

Sting or Flair in the whole WCW/NWA history.

It would be Sting. He was the top guy from the late 80's until WCW went under, even when Hogan showed up most people still considered Sting the top face.

-Sting was like the backbone of WCW much like HHH and Taker were the backbone of Raw/SD for almost a decade

-Hollywood Hulk Hogan may have had a shorter run similar to Stone Cold's run but his impact was much bigger

Sting. He was the flag bearer from the early period, through the glory days, and all the way through the bitter end.

Sting overall. Flair of all time, DDP or Goldberg in the 90's.

I always considered Flair the face of WCW, in spite of his WWF stint. But that was my perception, and I think I was wrong looking back. That was me as a fan who had years of NWA memories I could not erase.

I think the fans of WCW thought Sting was the face of the company. I think just about everyone of the guys listed in the poll had their time as the guy pushing the company, even DDP for a brief time, but Sting was always lurking there even through his injury time.

So I would now give the nod to Sting.
