Default Question for Attitude Era Fans

I'm just about 20, so I never watched, or was allowed to watch, the WWF. I only got into the WWE in late 2006. I feel like I'm the most optimistic fan out there, as I always look at the positives. I enjoy the WWE still. I was wondering why so many fans "hate" the current product.

Do Attitude Era fans miss the glory days of the late 90's?

See I kind of understand that, because I sure as hell miss the 2000 Pittsburgh Penguins and 2001 Pittsburgh Steelers, despite neither team winning a title that year. Is it simply that you guys miss the glory days, or is it just the current WWE sucks to you, whether you've been a fan since the 80's or just got into it in the past decade like myself?

Is that a real question? I'm not trying to sound like a dick but just think this one through. If you really loved something and you saw it change for the worse. why wouldn't you want things to go back to the way they were?

It's both. I hate most of the current product but also miss the good old days. They lack very many good characters and angles these days, it's almost depressing how bad the show has become.

Ugh, didn't explain it right it's really tough for me to make sense of things when my ADHD meds wear off. I meant would the Attitude Era fans even be WWE fans if there was no Attitude Era? Would the WWE even still exist if there was no Attitude Era?

It's a really different question, I know..

A lot of people started watching because of the Attitude Era, so no some of them probably would not be fans if not for the AE. I was however, been watching since the late 80's so I was already a fan years before 1997 rolled around.
