Hogan is probably the reason why wrestling got as big as it did. To this day he is the most recognized name when it comes to pro wrestling. Guy was also a better wrestler than people give him credit for.

The absolute G.O.A.T. The man turned the wrestling business upside down back in the 80s and then again in the 90s.

Am sorry but this is about Hogan, the wrestler who puts on a show between the two bells, not his Boom or drawing ability.

Crowd Control:Absolute best.No one comes close to Hogan.

Story-telling and Psychology:One of the best if not the best

Technical wrestling:Not so good

Only Hulk Hogan could make Hogan vs Warrior and Hogan vs Rock that much good.If it was anyone else,no one would have given a shit.Hulk Hogan made it that damn good.I don't care what people say about Hogan vs Rock but it is a 4 star match at the minimum. When Hogan hulked up it gave me goosebumps.

Really underrated guy. Still the GOAT if you ask me. His mic skills and the way he presented himself started the big booms of pro wrestling history.

You know I think what you wrote here people really have to look at. Hogan had EPIC matches instead of MATCHES TRYING TO BE EPIC. There is a difference and Hulk Hogan's timing and presence is what made it like that.

The only other guys like that imo are Bret Hart and Shawn Micahels(and he gets points taken off sometimes in his latter years because you can tell he is trying to be epic in some matches to live up to his legend). Savage was another guy when you know if he is put in there with top class he will deliver legendary.

These are the guys who DELIVER when need be to the levels people expect.

Hogan revolutionized wrestling in America, taking a page from Billy Graham and Gorgeous George except as a top face. It was not about being the fanciest wrestler or a great mat technician. It was all about keeping the fans involved in the match by working them. Allowing the heel to beat up on him for a while, make a sudden comeback, and use a move set to finish the match. Since Hogan, this formula has been used by the likes of Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Rock, Austin, Cena, etc in the WWE.

One thing to is about Hogans technique - timing is technique.

It was all so natural.

A flow and timing in that ring that you're just born with or your not.

Hogans timing and presence in this ring was out of this world. All so natural that you forgot about the world outside watching him.

It's like Stone Cold said : "Hogan is great man, he was put on earth to do this (wrestle)"

Agreed. Timing is technique and cant forget Hogan is a big man to, and his timing was amazing for a big man.

It's pretty rare that big man got that timing and skills.
