Re: When did the Attitude Era end?

The Attitude Era ended when both The Rock and Stone Cold left in succession shortly after Wrestlemania 19, and left Brock Lesnar in charge to usher in the Ruthless Aggression era.

Re: When did the Attitude Era end?

WM 19? what? wrestling boom was dead by then and business was in a slump. Austin was washed up and Rock couldnt draw as a heel. Not to mention the brand split.

In my opinion, WM 17. You could make a case for the end of Invasion but thats it.

Re: When did the Attitude Era end?

Rock and Austin.

Those two led and defined the Attitude Era.

They both left and left Brock Lesnar in charge to lead the Ruthless Aggression Era. What era do you have goin on between WM 17 and WM 19 and who was leading it?

These three greats led and defined each of these respective eras, Brock arguably with Goldberg and Triple H, but I digress.

Re: When did the Attitude Era end?

I feel like it ended when Nitro ended but I am willing to include WM 17 because of how awesome it was.

I agree that it ended the day Nitro ended. That was a significant end game, and will probably go down 20 years from now as the end game for AE.
