Same here man. I might watch on my iPad in bed tonight. Good on the people for commenting, but I think the lack of enthusiasm from the amount of people up for it at first, as well as those complaining Raw wasn't up and DM-ing me complaining they weren't up on time, and then not even commenting on the videos, has left me not really in the mood to watch them this week haha. Might force myself to watch Raw tonight and skip the Rumble bits.

Sorry mate, was planning on watching this weeks RAW around Tuesday but been quite busy. But once i get around to watching it, i will be commenting my thoughts. I want to see this work too, its such a great concept. Its just a shame it isn't in the General WWE section so it had more exposure, it will probably catch on more once RAW changes to the two hours and the attitude era begins.

Re: MONDAY NIGHT WARS CLUB: Monday 03 February 1997

Good Nitro this week. There is still quite a number of filler matches however most of them were some what entertaining. Really enjoying the Horseman/DOD feud with the offspring feuds of Benoit/Sullivan and Mongo/Jarrett. Debra is still the only heel that is legit pissing me off at the moment on Nitro which is an achievement all things considering. I'm not really enjoying the drama with the women however.

Nice tease with DDP, Sting, Savage and the Outsiders. Really brings about more questions and keeps you wondering whats going to happen next. The little takeout of Luger also adds a bit of heat to the tag team title feud going on. Speaking of tag teams, WCW at this time has a really strong tag division. The 4 tag team brawl/start of feud seemed out of the blue and a little random but it was entertaining for what it was worth. Starting off the cruiserweight feud with Malenko and Syxx with the same stuff as the US title feud of last month really felt rehashed. I guess Syxx's gimmick at this point is stealing belts .

Hogan/Piper has started off well. Enjoyed Hogan's promo at the start of the show and they really cranked up the realism in the angle with Piper's kid and Hogan being a complete douchebag to Piper in front of him until Piper finally snapped. Hogan got some major heat and definitely made me feel for Piper. Strange because as a kid I always remember Hogan being like the coolest heel ever and yet here he comes across like such a complete prick haha.

Good Nitro, better than last week's and much better than the horrific souled out. Now onto Raw.

Love the promo at the end of the show with Hogan/Piper & Piper's son. Hollywood Hogan was by far the best heel wrestler ever.

ROYAL RUMBLE RAW

ummmm what??? Royal Rumble Raw? I thought the Rumble was weeks ago? I actually LOVE the Skydome atmosphere besides the music being too quiet . Stone Cold Vader to start off was pretty darn badass. Almost feels like early 90s WCW. Bret Hart was wearing possibly his coolest gear of all time here on the run in. My favorite part so far besides Sid's entrance(promo sucked but forgot about Psycho Sid fist pumping all the fans) was probably the Owen and Davey promo. Haha had me laugh out loud for real. Davey Boy's acting was really funny.

HBK promo was really odd. He must be on some serious coke or something these days because he just wasnt thinking clearly enough to give a good promo. Bret comes out and does a great job on the mic. Maybe Shawn was just in heel mode because he had no choice here with the canadian fans? The one thing HBK has going for him is his really cool outfit and he also looks badass wearing the belt.

Farooq, Ahmed Johnson, Goldust, HHH before DX, Vader, Taker. These guys don't interest me at this time unfortunately. Even Mankind. I actually have a great deal of respect for all these guys and characters, and I can stand them, but I don't get as excited to rewatch these matches like I do when watching Nitro or when rewatching the golden Era. Still mark out for Bret, HBK, Stone Cold, and Owen Hart. Bulldog is cool too. Stone Cold on the mic might be better than anything on Raw or Nitro, but Nitro as a whole was just VERY interesting all the way through these days.

Very excited to watch the beginning of the Piper Hogan feud. Used to love it when I was younger and have always loved Piper's fire.

Decided to skip ahead to the piper/hogan promo at the end of the show and DAMN PIPER WENT OFF. Piper is the best flat out. One of Hogan's better promos as well.

SAN FRANCISCO...WATCH MY FISTS GO!!!

that might be the coolest thing I've ever heard a wrestler say. GREAT SHIT Piper. I am marking out.

Re: MONDAY NIGHT WARS CLUB: Monday 03 February 1997

Loving these threads, have been watching them all. Nitro is just the A show, its quality is off the charts in relation to production values.

Unless you were a fan before, any new fans who watch both these shows would find it very difficult to choose Raw over Nitro.

I need to start this. I've not posted on here for a while so didn't come across it originally but it's a great idea.

Will catch up with the episodes so far over the next few days and then I'll be good to go!

Re: MONDAY NIGHT WARS CLUB: Monday 03 February 1997

Very good nitro ultimo dragon really was owning the ring at this point so good to watch. The DDP build still ticking over nicely. Two things that annoyed me on this one was the Harlem Heat vs Steiners match being interupted. Somethings never get boring no matter how many times it happens. Just let them wrestle. No run ins needed. And Syxx stealing another title. Poor writing done it once no need to have him steal another.

The Piper Hogan promo was awesome showing the dad side of Piper not wanting to get his son caught up in an NWO beatdown. Then cleaning house. Great writing. Piper HOgan fued is always awesome and Piper looked good holding the title.

Wrestlemania 30 was awesome

3 Axxess events
Hogan VIP
Flair VIP
Wrestlecon session 1
Hall Of Fame Section 113 Row 11 Seat 1
Wrestlemania Section 140 Row 20 Seat 14.
Monday Night Raw Section 123 Row 16 seat 6
