Austin's stunners looked so weak back then. Rocky's hair cracked me up, hard to believe that he became one of the GOATs. Sids promo was really good. Shawn irritated me, its like he was "im gonna get the strap back, so i dont need to do a proper promo". Fell asleep during the crush an taker match, so i cant really say much about that. Hhh looked so weak running away from goldust, but it was good to see the king in action again. To think back the he was as old as undertaker is now. I guess some people age better than others.

Yeah, Austins stunners back then were like twist to grab them in an inverts cravat and then drop and jawbreaker them. Might also be case of others wrestlers not taking the move the way we're used to.

Calo/Konnan, very choreographed, Konnan was just waiting for moves the whole time

Why was Jimmy Hart with Konnan anyway? They don't fit together at all and Konnan's best attribute is his ability to cut a good promo so there's no need for a manager.

Benoit cuts a surprisingly decent promo, he's always been solid on the mic, it's a shame he never further developed. Mongo sounds like Jeff Jarrett and Billy Gunn's love-child.

Scotty Riggs squash match. Wut?

Fuller looks like shit, what a terrible look for a wrestler. Why is Luger so popular? Damn.

Bit of a shit predictable ending. Knowing how big the nWo is, it would have made more sense to put a stipulation on World Title matches that if Hogan loses via DQ due to interference, he loses the belt but whatever, wrestling logic.

The Sid promo from tyhe Alomodome was top draw. You could even hear the echo from when he was shouting. Loved it.

This Raw was better than the last one. One of the best parts of the WWE in 96/97 was the Hitman vs HBK arc always sensing the characters distain for eachother. Also the Bret and Owen. As this was the go home raw before the 97 rumble i also watched the 97 rumble and has there been a worse rumble than the 97 one before???

Definitely agree with this, mate. It's so simple, but the echo really adds to it. Great simple idea whoever's it was.

We're all going to find out soon, as I'm uploading the Rumble on Monday with the next Raw/Nitro. I can't even remember who won it, I mean I think I do, but then at the same time I can't say for sure.
